Really?
What are You dreaming of?
(If I'm looking at a right phone) If it has 256MB of memory just forget android 4.2. It's impossible.
And about WiFi Kill, it works on android 2.3.6 because I have used it on my xperia x10.

What about galaxy y???
From where can I get wifikill for android 2.3.6??

custom ROM sizes

Hi, i am wondering why custom ROMs found in the android development page such as Omega and Android HD are around ~700mb while CyanogenMod is only 160mb.
Samsung just put aload of useless stuff in there roms and cm10 is the bear minimum. Cm10 is pure Google experience while Samsung use this as a base/foundation and load there own stuff on top

I see that explains why CM seems to be missing all of the google and samsung apps. But i was asking about why customs roms such as Omega and Android HD are a lot bigger than CM, is it because they are just addons to the stock ROM?

I already answered that in the 1st response lol.. Its because samsung have aload of bloatware(e.g apps and stuff) taking up all that memory. The stock rom/custom samsung roms have alot of features that cm10 will never get because its ti much memory and hassle

Like b-ecok said there is no best. Though my favourites are:
1) ARHD 17.1 is a great Touchwiz ROM, it's clean and simple.
2) SlimBean 3.1 is a great Cyanogenmod/AOKP, it really light and super fast

[Q] 4.2 Jelly Bean.. but based on TouchWiz

Featured Samsung's interface functions such as "Smart Stay"
But I'm from Israel and still on 4.0.4 and I want to upgrade to rom that containing 4.2 with Samsung's functions (like the smart stay, and other functions)
It exists?
do you know about a stable 4.2 JB rom ? (with the "pure" google UI)
It's going to take a while 'till it comes out.
Does smart stay not exist on 4.0.4 ???

[Q] Custom Google ICS or Jellybean ROM for Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro/Win

Hello there,
Can a custom ROM with Google's ICS or Jellybean version be available?
Though there are lot of mods available, though trying each of them didn't give me the complete feeling of Google version of my phone.
I like Touchwiz but the AOSP version is what I love the most.

Ok. I found that cm 11 is available for it but it is preety unstable as they said.
Also it is the KitKat version. I am thinking to have the older i.e. jb or ics versions cos of their simplicity in UI.

Try iurnait's cm11 ROM with Android 4.4.4 it's really good and stable. It also has a feature when you receive notifications your backlights will flash with the screen off. And the heads up feature compatible to the hover.

FYI Backlight notifications are enabled at the kernel level in Meticulus's Nutella kernel, so all roms with his kernel (cm/pac/carbon) should have the feature.
OK my misrake
