Try to find the following from a deodexed TW ROM:
VerizonSSO.apk
VZWAPNLib.apk
VZWAPNService.apk
Put those in /system, set permissions and try it out.

Which version of CM?
I'm running 10.1.3 and MV works fine. I was considering updating to 10.2 but I use MV to track data the three of us share.
BTW - 10.1.3 is the smoothest and glitch free version of Cyanogenmod I've ever run. Amazing piece of work.
Biggest gripe I've got is the damm google services app destroys my battery life. Can't seem to get it under control. Not CM's fault.
Used CM10.1 nightly 8/13, 10.1 RC1, and 10.2 9/5 nightly. Will all of them, I was able to install my stock verizon mobile.

Hey im running CM7.2 and a lot of apps that were compatible before with stock are not now. I was wondering if any one else has these problems and if there is a fix.

Can you be specific? Which apps?
I tried to download word with friends. And it said it was incompatible. And pretty much all the wallpaper apps were incompatible. Such as picspeed wallpapers HD. I may be mistaken and maybe these apps are really just not compatible with the photon. But I remember playing words about a month ago when I was on stock.

So i have been having a similar problem. I tried installing tiny tower, discover card, capital one bank, and citi credit card apps and all of them said "your device is incompatible with this version" on the google play store. I tried to use the apk to install tiny tower manually and it came back saying "application not installed" I also tried reflashing gapps as was suggested above and that didn't seem to change anything.
These apps all worked fine on the stock sense OS but they don't work on cm7.2
I've heard that there are patches for CM7.2 RC1, is that true, does anyone know where i could get them so i could flash them?

From my experience the apps not compatible is due to changing settings of your screen density
. Stock is 240. Have you changed it? Rom toolbox? Modify build.prop? Or even in the cm7 settings?

I have been running one of the earliest versions of CM11 by Unjust. So far I've found it to be very stable except for random data drops.
That being said I'm trying Nottas latest PA. I always use the voice dialer to set my APNs for Cspire. This ROM as far as I can tell does not have a way to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm on latest too.
Use nottas settings that have the apn editor included... I didn't notice it missing in this'd version, is in the one right before, and he has had it included since December builds...

The zip would not work for me,,, but i extracted the apk (settings. apk) then copied and put into the priv-app folder,,, overwriting the original,,, fixed permissions,,, tapped to install,,, and it does seem to work and not cause any immediate issues... but make a backup of the original just in case

Im rooted and on a stockish rom. There was some kitkat errors they were working through I think. It isnt fixed obviously.
Orbot quit for me after Android 4.1.2. I got no response from app developers and even installing app updates never fixed anything.
Get Anonify from the Play Store and use with the stock browser for anonymous Web browsing. I just tested the app on my N3 running 4.4.2 and I was successfully connected to Tor. I used the Anonify app a lot more on my old S3 though. No issues at all.

I am fine with ICS and would like a KITKAT upgrade because it is smoother above all things. However my Galaxy i497 is one of the few without an independent support and developed ROM. Thing is can I install the kitkat gapps package on this while keeping the ICS ROM? The old app store is HORRENDOUS. Anyone? What is the easiest way to go about this? Do I have to take anything into consideration than an old gapps system uninstall and new gapps uninstall

Has anyone been using these builds for the vs985 by Invisiblek?
I haven't tried yet, but I was hoping to get some info on the rom before I dive into flashing and such.

I've been running new builds for almost a week and I've not had that problem.
Found the problem was the new cm apps which included the dialer removed them an dialer works fine.

I had this same exact problem. I am currently running the 20151118 build. I tried the 20151119 build but couldn't get my phone to boot. I have yet to use any of the newer builds.
I've been running the latest builds no problems at all. The only thing that I have to do is if I'm flashing an update I flash the zip and also flash the make permissive zip. If you don't the ROM will not boot. I hope this helps.
CM13 has been running great for me, aside from:
a hard lock when trying to pair bluetooth devices. No matter what I try, I can't get this to work.
The built in camera app is good for one picture at a time for me.
20151129 nightly and these issues are still present. If these aren't dealbreakers, or if you want to see if maybe you don't have these issues, give it a shot.
