I am a noob first! I have been researching how to root my p5113 galaxy tab and I am more confused than when I started. I have rooted a galaxy s3 before but it's been awhile. If someone could get me started in the process and exactly what files I need to root it would be greatly appreciated. I see methods for CF auto root and Odin but just don't know what is the right way?

Is there a section dedicated to the P5113? This section is really only for the GT-P75**
If there isn't a section for you device you'll still probably get some help here.

I seem to have trouble locating the specific location of my device help. Is there any way you can direct me or maybe provide a link that will get me to a thread where the p5113 root is the only subject that is discussed? Also thank you for replying in advance!!

I need help from anyone and everyone. I I am currently trying to test out Mobile Odin on 7510 Tab for Chainfire. The problem I am coming across is locating firmwares to test with. I have searched xda, and but have come up blank as well as googling it. That is why I am asking for all of your help, and if you have a firmware shoot me the file or the link.
The answer is, 42.
Hello, please check this site it has all the firmware for samsung pads, and i think its the only one that exists to get what you want.

I think thats it. Try it at your own risk though. Ask away if you have further questions.

Just make sure you don't try anything until your sure its been tested. 2 users on the Aussie thread lost their imei numbers while trying to root there's. One has already booked with Samsung service.

After u root it successfully, upgrade to twrp from cmwr. Install Jamie's JB ROM and you'll be good to go.

Before you decide to learn how to root you should learn how to use the search button. This topic is ridiculous and has no reason to exist when we have plenty of the EXACT topic and answer's already.
The easiest way to root your phone is to use the search button and follow one of the bazillion guides that are already on XDA
