Use vroot,it is just root your device without unlock your bootloader..so it is safe and without losing your DRM key

Did you reboot the phone after following the rooting procedure (I forgot to do this when I first rooted my Droid 1 )? Also try going into the superuser app and try updating the binaries. If that doesn't work, I can try to look at the guide you followed to root your phone and see where you might have gone wrong.

Yes i tryed rebooting a few times and doesnt allow me to update the binaries. Ill need to check my computer for the guide i followed. But it was from this website something to do with odias? And something statting with a Cw? I think it was.

Samsung declared that they will collect some data as per their need whenever a new sim card be inserted in our device and there is nothing to worry. But after I root using kingo app sms were sent from my both sim to samsung. I just surprised as I did not change any sim card.

The kingo root method is little strange here, devs have blocked the threads in some forum, as it connects to some Chinese server before rooting for no reason, this just might explain.

No one knows what's exactly it does. Certain firewalls have blocked this as it connects to external server, scan report on the app is safe though. And method of rooting source is not disclosed, so no one can tell what it does. Though it successfully roots your phone. So I'm not sure and I have not used it.

At the time of root it download something from net as i saw it was saying downloading data.

Very simple thing to unlock the bootloader !! Download the application terminal emulator on Google play and open a window.
Type su ans give the root access
Type reboot oem-unlock ans the phone will reboot un fastboot mode ! Press volume up and your bootloader is unlocked
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
is it that simple?
You just have to download an app ans type to command

If your going to attempt this on a P769 it didn't work for me, it just rebooted just like the other methods. It's worth trying though. But thank you OP.
Yeah. Not gonna work on the metropcs 769 model. This one is a pita

I too had tried this a few months ago, it was a no go.

doesn't work on the 769 I tried it yesterday. This has been spread to multiple sites and forums. I've seen it here, on android forums . Com and on smaller sites. All claim to unlock 769 and it just reboots normally

They are the same Ease of rooting depends on your current Android version. ICS is easier, but JellyBean can be rooted up thru V20H. I haven't seen any success on V20I or newer...
Thanks
