hi. i have been using cm 10.1 for quite some time and it is great ,but i tried one day cm 10.2 and it was very buggy (da it is till in alpha )
so i reflashed cm 10.1 , but now i have a problem with the camera - it doesnt show at all and when i try to flash a camera zip file it doesnt do anything.
any ideas why it is doing that???
everything else works good.

First i think that your question should be in the section - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

but I would try to clear/wipe chace and dalvik and the reflash your first rom.
If that doesn't work I would do a new installation of your rom in other words wipe everything and install fresh

Having (UNOFFICIAL) in it's name doesnt make it unstable, The part where its a WIP and DEV signals that it is unstable. And someone made a gps patch for it already I think its somewhere clobbered in useless spams in the main thread

Did you wipe cache/davlik & fix permissions in CWM ?
Read the development thread instead of starting new threads. There have been issues with this ROM. Are you now running the latest build?
thanks for the warning ... lol .. jk'ing .. i use widgetlocker to substitute for the home screen app ... so watever lockscreen is permitted .. i never use it.
I'm running the latest version of this rom and everything now seems to be working fine... Check the OP in developement forum and try reflashing...

I was just browsing the AOKPlay thread and I found a fix for the video camera, ive tested it on CM9 nightlies as well as AOKPlay builds 37 and 38!
This means you can now record videos using the camera app on CM9 and AOKP roms
Instructions:
-Flash zip in CWM
-Wipe caches and dalvik cache (otherwise you may get a FC)
-Enjoy!!

It's too buggy bro. It needs to be whether properly ported for our device or just be left for those who badly neeed it. On the first try messed my font. Then force close camera frequesntly and had to reflash the ROM. WOuldn't recommend anyone to use it yet
I had the messed up font weeks ago before this and and your correct them ar arc files you should get them from play cm but main thing is its working on aokp that's a massive step considering still some other phone don't have video record yet on aokp but never mind i digress lol

probably on cyanogenmod this fix has problem, i'm on AOKP and in 2 days i don't have any sort of problem

This is not intended for CM and will probably cause loads of errors using it.
Video recording and playback is now fixed in CM9 anyway

Dont care about the radio bug.
Or tv out bug.
Camera bug should not be present.
Currently I am using wanam latest jellybean rom. V6.2
I have tries omega roms also.
Tries cm9 too. I like cm9 rom but I was not able to get wifi working.
To get wifi working I had to install ics and then flash cm9.
I want to try something like cm10
Pure android feeling. Not the samsung stock rom. And battery friendly.
Cm10 bugs webpage is not opening. Showing error all the time.

Hi,
I tried using the subject ROM with Achotjan's Kernel for CM 7.2.
Everything is normal, except the resolution. I dont know how to put it but the image doesnt cover up the entire screen. Its as is everything has been bundled up leaving a part of the screen unavailable for placing icons or anything.
Has anyone faced any issues with this configuration I am using?
I wish I could provide a screen to show what the issue is. Pls tell me if you need more explanation.
flash the ROM again, wipe all data. if this doesnt solve the issue, try another kernel

While the mm team's cm7.2 rom is a good functional rom it still has the video recording glitch as all gb fxp based roms have however zdizhu cm 7 is fully functional
