[Q] Help wiping data android_secure error - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys
I'm on cm 10.1 20130813 nightly for Galaxy s2
the folder android_secure can't be deleted
even on PC it will be deleted but once I unplug the cable opening root explorer it will show that the folder is there
when I wipe data it shows up this
-- Wiping data...
Formatting /data...
Formatting .cache...
Formatting /sd-ext...
Formatting /sdcard/.android_secure...
Error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure!
Skipping format...
so I cant format internal storage from recovery or mobile
in PC I can format it but the folder .android_secure will remain
Any solutions ???
should I have to install kernel or cwm or installing official firmware with odin
what to do ?
thank you

Leave that folder alone. It will always be there.

Won't solve anything if you format to different sd card format.

Re-flash the ROM or restore that is if you made any backups, you don't have to wipe your data this will solve the problem.

Problem in Wiping internal memory contents

I have a serious problem, no kind of wipe can wipe my internal memory contents. after wipe I still have my gallery photos completely and my personal stuff are still there. Any help would be appreciated

Formatting /sdcard...

Cannot mount eMMC!

I haven't had this error till today! I was flashing a custom rom and following its procedure for flashing. When i tried to factory reset via CWM recovery I got this error " error mounting /emmc/ .android_secure " then it skips system format!
I searched Google for fixes. Many had recommended to format the internal memory but again many mentioned it is not safe to format internal SD.
Is it kernel related or is my internal memory corrupted?
Any suggestions?

How to repair an Internal SD Card Partition to Perform Successfull Factory Reset?

I have Samsung Galaxy y s5360.
I have installed CWM and Custom Rom of Cynagenmod on it.
When i go to wipedata/factory reset my Phone I face the Following Error
Formatting /sd-ext...
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
A samilar error occurs when i try to restore my Orignal OS from recovery manager.
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/stl19
What should I do?
That's just the error that CWM gives when trying to format a partition that your phone does not have. It does not indicate an issue with the internal storage not being wiped. However, the factory data reset in CWM does not wipe /data/media where stuff like pictures, some types of app data, your download folder, and others are located on the internal storage part that your phone considers the "sd card" not to be confused with the external SD card. If you want to wipe that to perform a full wipe of everything in CWM you will have to format the internal storage in the Mounts option from the main page of CWM.
