that's the best google image search resulted in. It is clearly the same picture, but the resolution is too low

Thank you very much! I appriciate it!
I already found this similar photo through Google in a different resolutions.
But nevertheless I still prefer those from the Lumia and if possible someone to share it, it will be nice!

System files such as stock wallpapers and sounds cannot be shared nor extracted from Lumia devices. Part of the system security.

Does someone with a 925 have that picture? you could pretend setting the image as a background, then zoom in on it and make 4 screenshots of every corner of the image then stitch it back together using photoshop or similar
Sounds complicated? It is, but it sounds like a workaround
On second thought: Aren't we able to extract WP8 OS images? Can't we "just" download the image from Navifirm and exctract that?

Even with Navi, you don't get access to system files.

[New Touch Dialer Skin!]Tired of Gray?! Here is a new Look

Hi,
For all of you who doesn't like the gray color or are tired of the same old touch look, I made a new dialer skin. If you have PDVIET 4.0.0.0.6 or you have installed touch style dial pad, all you have to do is to copy these files to your windows and soft reset. I don't have time to make a proper cab file, but feel free to make a cab file out of these and share it with us
oh by the way the dialer skin is only for portrait mode, later on I will make a landscape too.
I also installed the transparent home plug in icons, I uploaded them before, but I'm gonna upload them along my other files.all you have to do is copy all the .png files to your windows folder and soft reset.
I hope you like it
Nice. I've build cabs...
Hello,
is it possible to customize our own landscape and portrait background picture ?
regards,
(if so please specify which folder in the /windows)

haha well i though this skin is so brilliant that nobody wants to go back to the original one lol..
all you have to do is overwrite the attached images to your windows folder
If you want your home pluging Icons back, sorry i don't have them , you have to hard reset.
It is nice , but I found it too bright
it is not easy to see in the sunlight, may be with another text colour will be nicer
thanks for help
its nice, but if im gonna change the background picture im gonna have to change the buttons too, maybe you should remodel the dialer in a way that the background of the numbers is transparent ?

If you look closely at the buttons that i posted , they are transparent (look at the numbers) the thing is that i haven't found a dialer dll that supports transparent images. If you found a dialer that you could simply change the background image, let me know
did u take a look at this thread ?

Finished working on hma4s first skin
Hi folks,

Photoshop Files
Okay, I promised that I'm gonna make a dialer skin so that everybody can change it just by changing one background image! well i tried and I didn't succeed. but for those of you who know Adobe Photoshop, I attached the psd file so you can use it to make your own dialer. all you have to do is to change the background layer and save your file as a png file. If you don't know Photoshop just don't bother, I really can't explain further. also you have to overwrite the button images with the images in the zip file. If you know Photoshop and you want to make a dialer for yourself, look at my psd file, trust me it will help feel free to share your creative dialer skins with us

Touch and touchlike dialers
Guys, hdialerere is my 2 cents about the touch (and derived) dialers
Positive: nice big buttons
Negative:
1) The photo is awfully small, even smaller than in the standard wm6 dialer
2) 2 buttons are missing: speed dial and history. You have to open these functions with options. not funny
3) There is still some space left on top that can be used.
I hope that someone can make a dialer with these buttons and with a bigger photo. Thx.

Thank you hma4! Excellent work all around. Question: I run linux and have access to GIMP which can do many of the things Photoshop can...is the layer method supported in GIMP as well? I'm wondering if there is a step by step tutorial on the net somewhere and willing to google for it...always willing to learn something new although I am in no way or shape an artist.

GIMP opens psd files and also supports layers. for tutorial for GIMP you can visit here: http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/
here is what you can do, try to open the .psd file that I uploaded couple of posts above, then if you could see my file in different layers then you can work your way from there. you have to make 3 .png files, namely:
Progress_BkgdP.png
Dialer_BkgdP.png
indialer_ps.png
all you have to do is look at those layers, one of them is the background image, try to change that to what ever you like, another layer is the button masks so you have to overlap that on your background, and finally save the file in .png format with the names that I mentioned.
I really can't write a thorough tutorial for this, I think if you spend a little time you can figure it out all by yourself.
Good luck don't forget to share your creative work with us

[Q] Image to apk creator?

Hi all,
Have searched high and low through the net and XDA. Is there such a program that can easily convert any image into a simple apk which just shows the image and able to zoom in zoom out?
Seen quite a few subway route maps app in the market already..
Would like to convert some of my image into a app rather than a shortcut on my homescreen
Is the apk manager program useful here?
No you have the wrong idea of what an apk is. It has alot more to it then images. You will need to write the code for it to interact with the other programs.

Hi!
Thank you sooo much!
I understand that an apk is far more complicated than what it seems to be. But is there a standard script or something that works by just opening up an image?
There's a few I seen in market that works exactly the same only having the images different.
I was thinking if I were to replace the image inside that apk to my image and signing it properly after that, it will work. But the there are alot more of other smaller icon pngs inside which look the same but with different dimensions...

If all your wanting to do is swap the images then you should be OK. Just decompile the apk. Make your changes and the recompile and sign. I have not seen an apk maker app as some of the scripts and code need to be written by hand

[Q] Viewing png images. Transparent background turns black.

Hello everyone
So, I have a bunch of png images that I imported to my phone from my PC. I dumped them straight in my DCIM folder.
On the PC, these images have transparent backgrounds, however, when I view them using androids gallery app, the background is black. Similarly, when using these images as stickers for my text messaging app (Naver Line), the backgrounds will also show as black.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
I found this thread in the forums, but it seems no one answered;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377433
My Specs:
Android 4.2.1
ELIYA S850
If you want to know anything else, just ask and I'll try to accommodate.

the images have no background and android shows full images so android fill black background to the images
Ok, so the only way then would be to load it directly into LINE somehow, since that has transparencies.
Hmm, well, thank you very much for the response.

Change the Backround Picture from Smart-View-Cover

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to change the background image in the SmartView cover.
My firmware is KIW-L21C432B160 - german version.
A change of the desgn brings no solution.
The background with the SmartView cover is always the same, does not change.
I would be very pleased if someone could offer a solution.
Thank you in advanced.
Greets
I don't have a smartview case but, I suggest you to look in themes app and look for it
U can change by Emui theme editor>Open and select you loved theme and in edit add s-view section change or add background to your theme and save, apply the theme and enjoy
This does not work, unfortunately, because the S-View image has been compressed.
See image.
What can I do?

Custom Bootanimation.zip

Hello,
I want to make or flash a custom bootanimation to my oneplus 3 (wich is exactly the same as the 3T). Someone can help me with this? i have the oneplus 3 collete bootaimation downloaded on my pc, since i can't get the normal one But how do I add text, because the rectangle is just as small as the circle of the animation. I have rooted my phone etc. Any help? Or if a helpfull person wants to do it for me, I just want it to say samewhere above or beneath the animation "Welcome Gilles" in the same font and color is the oneplus logo at the very beginning. Thanks in advance.
well I can't help you with modifying the bootanimation since this is a whole other topic but replacing the stock one is very easy.
Just replace it in /system/media

I think it's fairly easy in this case since your only changing something in the pictures. Simply batch edit all the images and replace them

just edited my reply with more information for batch editing.
I'm not sure if this would work since you have to change the image size in the desc.txt file for example from 270 270 60 to 400 400 60 depending on your end result of course.
