Sorry but what is a Nat? im trying to tether my ps3 and get stopped at the test connection with my nexus4. using carbon and can tether other devices but not the ps3. never had any issues with tmobile noticing anything with carbons built in tether.

So, I'm running on the latest nightly of cm7 on my vibrant with a glitch kernel. What I want to do is share my wired connection with my laptop, phone, and ps3 without having a wireless router. The thought is to use reverse USB tethering to put the connection to my phone then use the wifi hotspot ability to share the connection with my ps3. I know the ps3 won't recognize Adhoc being produced by the computer, also it's impossible to receive wifi and broadcast it at the same time. So is it possible to do what I propose?
When ever I connect my new iPad to my cell via Bluetooth it launches
Hotspot on my cell. Is it possible to remove hotspot and launch wireless tether when it's connected via Bluetooth on a custom rom? Any thoughts?

Ipad (Gen3Wifi-only) and BAMF Rezound ICS v1.1 Official Rom, I wanted to be able to use the gps from my cell on my Ipadl. The only way to use it is through Bluetooth. Thanks for your reply.

Why do you want to use the tfp as hotspot instead of just setting up an ad-hoc connection on your windows 7 machine and connect your ps3 directly to it!
I don't understand why someone would want to use the prime as a hotspot. it as no cellular data and any device you would point to your prime could obviously hook up to what ever wireless ap your prime would have. am i missing something here?

? again, I want to stream media from my laptop on to my ps3. I notice the prime has a hotspot feature so me not being tech swavy I figured I connect the laptop to the prime and the ps3 to the prime to share media
Like I said you don't need the prime your laptop has a hotspot feature as well. Just go to the network center add a connection create an ad-hoc connection give it a name and password done. Now connect your ps3 to the network and start streaming.
So has anyone found a way to get an open nat on the 360 by tethering yet, i am using Foxfi and am getting an moderate nat when using an wireless adapter on the xbox.

I have the cable and everything hooked up, but i cannot even connect to the internet then with the cable.
Phones have a closed NAT always I'm pretty sure. You're not going to he able to change that.
