Here some cool Bootanimations from XDA Devs!
I have tested all and it worx.KitKat not tested,its 512x512.
Just rename the zips to bootanimation and move it to system/media with permission: rw-r-r--.

Sweet. With as many times that we boot up, would be nice to have some different things to looks at.
Also the instructions say"must extract the bootanimation.zip from installer file and copy paste to system/media file", so I bet we can just move them in an out at will like we already do now. Just one more extraction step.

Yep! Your right good buddy! Just extract bootanimation.zip from system/media file! Just tested works like a charm!

I ported default cyanogenmod9 bootanimation to our lovely Galaxy 3 and I want to share it with you.
Of course credits whould go to cyanogenmod team.
Installing:
Replace the bootanimation.zip in the /system/media with my bootanimation.zip. Reboot and have fun
Any requests or suggestions?

This is a modded version of xperia z2 bootanimation for mdpi devices...themed to suit kitkat running devices
New bootanimation2.zip added
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Downloaded the file {Rename it to bootanimation.zip}
2.copy the "bootanimation.zip" file and paste in /system/media
3.set permission as rw- r-- r--
done.
reboot now
Tested on XPERIA MINI PRO {should work on all MDPI devices}
