Warranty with TA backup? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Would sony detect it when someone unlocked the bootloader but relocks the bootloader and recovers the TA (including DRM keys)? Because when you unlock your bl you have to get a key from sony website but are they actually saving who used unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com
I just wanted to ask because I am thinking about bootloader unlock but I don't wamt to loose the warranty of my phone.

I've requested an unlock code from sony months ago, but I haven't unlocked BL yet, but I've made a TA save. So if I take my phone to repair now with original, unlocked BL, they can't say that it is not under warranty. So requesting an unlock code not yet ends your warranty. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say and why

Never mess with Ta..btw sony service center won't know if lock your bootloader after unlocking it..and all rd and noobs be careful on Ta..it may brick your device

Thanks for the answers. I just asked because I read of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
And one more question how can TA brick the device?

Simply hard brick and you will cry

And if I only restore my own TA backup is there also a risk to brick?

Nah.. It will not brick your phone but only do it on stock rom not on custom one...

Ok thx for the answers but does restoring TA automatically locks bl?

Yes...
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app

You can restore your ta in stock Rom with boot loader locked otherwise hard brick. And always restore in stock Rom from which it is backed up..and my advice never play with ta.. To get working be and music info you can get from xda forums

Either answer the question or ignore the thread. You didn't help anybody by posting that non sense. We all know the rules here. I did search forums but was unsure whether I'd have to unlock bootloader or not.

I first made a backup of my DRM keys, so i can go back to a locked bootloader if I want. But that's only possible if you're already rooted. You can try Bin4ry's method, but if that doesn't work you should skip this step. Then you can backup your TA partition.
Then you can unlock you're bootloader. Sony's own instructions (search for "Sony unlock bootloader") are very good.
Tnx mate

Anyway, bootloader unlock tool won't be device specific I think so if that tool supports unlocking bootloader it'll be for all 2012 Xperia atleast, and anyways, all Xperias supporting unlock have the same bootloader unlock method

Wat u mean by no difference? U will void ur warranty when you unlock bootloader once, then evem locking will not gain you with warranty.
U can backup PDS, here's more info on it! See Q13.
