Quick question on confirming back to stock - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I had to perform a a downgrade on my htc one from tmobile to get s-off. Now is "Locked" & "S-OFF" considered back to stock and safe to return? I tried tmobile for a week and really wanted to ditch verizon but they cannot touch verizon on quality and coverage unfortunately

Were you successful?
I've downgraded back to stock but I've noticed the flashlight app and calculator apps are missing. How can you be certain that you are back to 100% stock and all install files from rooting are gone?

Just curious as to what would happen if....

So just curious as to what would happen if i was to flash the titan sprint stock rom onto my htc titan bell version? Would that brick my phone? Or do i have to google a bell stock rom?

you wouldnt brink your phone just have the unlocker and why would u want to do that for
you know how Bell is and unless you want a $1,000 000 phone bill then go on ahead! it wouldn't brick your phone, it would just put it into roaming mode since you'll be using sprint's prl and data connection
Really
Actually only reason i was considering doing that is because i'm having data connection problems and just wanted to go back to stock...But since it's like virtually impossible to find a bell stock rom i thought i'd try the sprint and make a few adjustments!

[Q] Wind software update?...

Went back to stock rom from Wind on Amaze (extracted from RUU 1.45.1500.1) - install went ok.
I know there are a few updates already yet my phone says it's up to date, but phone won't update; in hope that HTC will soon fix the pesky problem with data roaming charges even while it's disabled by default (I'm secretly hoping for OTA ICS upgrade
Is there an official Wind update?

1.46.1500.3 is the latest for Wind as of now
i HIGHLY doubt wind will update anything, considering their a new company, they wont be spending money on updates.
Looks like your question was answered. if there are no further objections...

[Q] Flashing the rezound back to verizon from cricket

I am wondering if I run an RUU back to stock. Will I revert it back to Verizon I mean if it changes the baseband and radio and puts stock firmware on it then in theory would that not work? I just don't want cricket I am a Verizon user.
You've got the right idea. My understanding is that after RUUing back to stock, you'd need to do a factory reset from the bootloader, preferably with a Verizon SIM already inserted. Note that I haven't done this myself, just read on these forums of others who have.

I ran the ruu and did the wipe data in recovery as reventech suggested and then went into bootloader and factory reset. The only sim I have is an old one and I am not sure if it works, The only one I have is my mini sim other than that for my DNA and now when I dial 611 I get call has been lost out of service., I use to get cricket. However, I deal with lots of phones and with any verizon phone it normally goes to verizon dialing that now it wont call any numbers just drops calls. Any ideas?

I actually ended up selling to a friend and he wanted cricket so I quit screwing with it. What I did not do was put an active verizon sim in I only had a micro!

[Q] Will flashing AT&T One to T-Mobile ROM bring full functionality?

Hi all! First post here, I've read through pages and pages of forum posts looking for an answer but haven't found one so I thought I would ask a quick question.
I have an AT&T One that I recently unlocked, I then left AT&T for T-Mobile and am having issues with MMS sending/receiving and Mobile Hot spot. Everything else is functionality. T-Mobile says they can't help, HTC says they can't help.
As a result I was thinking I flashing it with a T-Mobile ROM.
Do you think it will help?
I wanted to confirm before I start digging more into how to flash it.
Thanks in advance,
Paulgyro

you can convert your phone to a t-mobile one software wise but you'll always be missing the t-mobile bands that the at&t version does not support.
the step to complete conversion are
s-off
change MID and CID to t-mobiles
flash t-mobile RUU
then you'll have a t-mobile phone with no AWS and a couple missing radio bands possibly no LTE or 3G

Thanks so much for the reply. And by the way your site looks awesome!
Currently I've unlocked my boot loader and am now moving on to the next task to get S-OFF
I did this for fun in my friend Sim card to test out. I flashed tmobile selection in ROM setting twrp (att rom)viper rom on AT&T HTC One and LTE works depending on location. Getting 40 Mbps.
Gonna try 30 dollar Walmart deal on att ROM for tmobile

I'm having a heck of a time getting s-off, rumrunner is telling me to flash an unsecured kernel as my next step as it failed.
I'm sure getting a crash course in Android here. I've read the forums but thought I'd ask for a recommended kernel here or other steps.
Thanks,
Paul

Not sure why you are trying, as the previous poster mentioned. You will have some service. But AWS bands as well as LTE are your data and they will not work. So all you will be able to do is send and receive text and make calls.

Give firewater a try instead. If you are on the new HBOOT I couldn't get rumrunner to kick through although it should work. Firewater doesn't rely on a bunch of reboots.
It works even with rooted At&t stock rom

I just got an used/new HTC One from ebay. The cellphone came with stock At&t, locked, unrooted. I first unlocked the boatloader via HTCDev, then installed TWRP. Used the cellphone with T-Mobile and no issues, except the mms. Then decided to install ViperOne 6.1.0. and it fixed everything, I was able to send/receive mms, plus all additonal extras, hotspot, fully customize, etc. Unfortunately, I loved the way that Blinkfeed transition/scrol;ing had on the At&t rom and the fact that could have Flickr as widget within blinkfeed as well. So S-off the cellphone usign firewater (no pain) and installed RUU. Once, I had this Rom, I was able to get hotspot by modifying the default.xml, and killed/unistalled at&t blotware. I might just go back to ViperOne, it is a great Rom, I am just a photography phanatic and love having Flickr on Blinkfeed.

[Q] htc one sprint downgrade

how i can downgrade my htc one sprint from 4.4.2 to 4.1.2 to unlock it for gsm ??
You would have to S-Off to be able to do that. Is this for the Sprint version? If so, the international unlock works well, but if you want to use it in the US, you will most likely have a lot of connection issues trying to stay connected to the towers when you move. It likes to drop off and you have to reset it a couple of times to get service back. Very frustrating. If you don't have the Sprint version, disregard.
same problem
