Recently bought an Xperia Z Ultra and use my phone for work to take pictures of the remodels etc... but before I send the emails in I have to resize photos, in this on when I go to gallery and pick the photos to email all it tells me is "Warning you are sending a large file" but it doesn't ask me to resize or to send Original, Large, Med or Small like the Galaxy N2 or even my iPhone used to do!! And I hate downloading apps to do things the phone Is supposed to already do! Anyone else has this problem???
I love my phone but I'm getting frustrated with it??

I can't figure this one out and it's driving me crazy. it seems that everytime i go to a site... be it facebook, news, other internet sites..it copies any picture on that page,onto my phone without me even DOING anything. so say i want to change my wallpaper... so i go into albums and then select 'all' ..i get wallpapers, photos i took,etc. and that's cool..but i also have a bunch of crap in there like symbols and icons that comes with the themes i have.
i guess theme icons are suppose to be in there too, and i guess i can live with that but it's a pain when you see a clutter of that mixed with peoples facebook pictures, article pictures, covers of ebooks that iv'e downloaded...seems like when im online,ANY picture i come across gets downloaded automatically. does anyone else have this problem? is there a setting i need to change?

my gallery app is very slow when stating it takes some seconds to do anything because its loading. so i wanted to ask you if there is any solution to that.
i already used some other apps. eg. quickpic is great but the only problem with it is the resolution when viewing pictures. i have screenshots attached.
pls help me, cause gallery or viewing pictures is one of the most things i do with my phone.

I had the same problem and even I deletted this gallery ap, because I'm really happy with quickpic!! I didnt notice this less resolution you mention... Even more, taking into account our little screen
I would recommend to use quickpic because its the fastest one, and I see my pics perfectly, but if you have this resolution problem lets see if there is someone who can help you
I am due to receive my shiny new Galaxy S3 tomorrow, and was wondering if there are any tips for a smooth transition between phones. For example, I know google syncs contacts and apps (so thats not a problem) - but is there any way, my photos can automatically be on my S3 tomorrow? or texts etc?

The S3 will recognise your memory card from the Desire, mine did, backup ur texts using Sms Backup + (Jan Berkel) and restore them to ur S3, worked for me (Desire HD), enjoy the phone, its a cracker
Install google+ and it will upload all pics and videos for you, showing up in your gallery on s3

does anyone know why sometimes pictures on S3 come in as short videos even though they are clearly pictures?
i have found a work-around for this little problem, ill explain it in detail for those that have this same problem. I would love to hear some input
OK, so first i noticed that this problem was occurring between me and my roommate ( we both have s3's) when we would send pictures to test out our new phones. We were sending pictures directly from the default messenger app, we were both using the attachment button (paperclip button). It wasn't until today that i realized that the problem would disappear when we would use the photo gallery app to send the pictures by using the share function and using the messenger app. If youre having the same problem i hope this helps!
This was a Samsung thing that started with the GS2. It was fixed by the time ICS was released for it. Now, they seem to have forgotten they fixed it and have broken it again for the GS3.
I use GoSMS, so I don't really have to deal with it.
I'm pretty sure this is the same on all the Samsung phones, but if I get a Picture via MMS, I cannot zoom in or out on the picture. The only way I have found to resize the thing is to first save it then go into gallery and then you can zoom in. Anyone have a better way?
And yes, I have used other SMS app's like Go and it works much better, but I happen to like the stock Message app, except for this non feature.
Yes, I find it extremely annoying after switching from SE Neo. I would also like to know if solution exists...
