Hi,
I this my first post. I am using lupus kernel v3 with dual recovery and using zellycream Rom 2.0
I have an xperia mini pro which was running fine with zellycream. Suddenly from 2 days the front camera option is missing and proximity sensor is also not working. I tried to test the camera from service menu , but is says this feature not supported. I am really worried because I use Skype for video chatting.
Some one please help me

Have you tried flashing a stock ftf or another rom/kernel ?

Yes i tried another rom and kernel. . Stil no change. It was working till 2 days back. It happened suddenly. I am using tiz rom nd kernel frm 1 mnth, never faced this issue before

Try flashing the stock ftf file using flashtool.

I saw many people got this issue too after they update to ics stock .587 from gingerbread. But for me I used stock rom for 3 mnths,ultimate hd 2. 02. For 1 mnth nd zellycream for almost 1 month. Front camera nd proximity not working from couple of days. When itried to check it with the Xperia service menu option it says "my device doesnt support this function" both proximity and front camera" I dont think its a harware issue.if it is hardware issue then the camera wont work but the front camera option in the sttings could have been there...

Skype recognises only the rear camera. No front camera.
I open the service menu (*#*#SERVICE#*#* i.e
*#*#7378423#*#*) and test the secondary camera, and it
says "This device does not support the function". The primary
works fine. All other supported features work fine. Light
sensor (next to the front cam) responds too. (But the
Proximity switch doesn't. Not sure if it should. Perhaps that
could hint at a hardware problem with the connections from
the bottom half to the top slider part

i have same problem, today i want use my front camera, but i dont know why, the option its gone. and i have try other camera apps, and it say this device not support.. what theee...
test in service test, it say secondary camera not support too... :crying: what happend here :silly::silly::silly:
after the proximity sensor gone a month ago, now my front camera...
im running in stock rom 587. i already restore fresh copy , but still same, camera not working.... :crying:

After using 3 years my mini pro front camera option disappear
Have anyone got any solution for this
i have on problem my ringtone set to default whenever i restart the phone and the phone volume also gets set to low after i receive call give me the proper solution to this and another problem is with camera the image gets distructed when zoomed taken by my camera and i am using stock 4.2.1 thanks in advance i tried all roms but same problem persist ....

The camera gets zoomed while recording its default..
made by company..
i too have a ringtone issue but not getting low..
the ringtone changes to canvas default after the restart.
It is solved after i installed canas 4 rom

it automatically get solved i dont have to do anything more and yaa for sometime it was so much disgusting but now i am back to jellyxperia v4 :good:

Camera or ringtone problem?
I am facing this issue randomly...both the ringtone & camera issue...seems to be a problem with the stock rom because there is no such issues on the custom rom

I have an issue with my camera. it remains slightly out of focus. Though while operation of autofocus it is focused best in b/w, but stablizes at slight out of focus position. problem more evident while taking photo of documents. text appears out of focus not crish. same is with other pictures also. hence photo is not as crisp. how do i solve this issue. other canvas HD (have one more with friend - purchased & flashed togather- It is flashed with custom rom S9201_4.2_MP_F3F8_B1_IN_MMX_09_FLASHER_USER.) also flashed with same custom ROM does not have this problem
How camn i improve camera performance for crisper focus photos?
I want to keep my camera flash on continuously in night so that in case of of emergency i can use it as flash light. Whether any apps are available for this.

There are free apps available on Play store, alternatively you can try Gravity Box VIA Xposed framework, it gives you access to tiled settings and option to switch on Flash.
Be carefull my camera flash light had gone bad once, had to get it repaired.

I recently used this flashlight app and played a bit with the strobe mode. After launching the camera app, the flash flickers (like when it did in the strobe mode of flashlight app) when clicking a photo which never happened before!
I tried clearing the data of the camera app as well as uninstalling the flashlight app. Also, I did a full factory reset but the camera flash flickers in the same way. I dont understand what to do.
Will re-flashing the ROM solve the problem? Where can I find the stock ROM for Micromax A116i. Please link me to a guide if there is any. Any solutions will be appreciated.

I think it'll be a hardware problem
Anyway 4 confirming flash the stock firmware using sp tools if still the problem persists thn ull hav to go to SC 4 service

Hello everyone
M facing an issue related to camera. Whenever i tries to open camera , it opens but inside that touch screen isn't working.
M also unable to capture pics.
Im on rooted stock rom.
I tried restoration many times,
But that didn't solve my problem.
Any ideas?
Or anyone can tell me best alternative for stock camera.
