Hi guys,
I recently used this flashlight app and played a bit with the strobe mode. After launching the camera app, the flash flickers (like when it did in the strobe mode of flashlight app) when clicking a photo which never happened before!
I tried clearing the data of the camera app as well as uninstalling the flashlight app. Also, I did a full factory reset but the camera flash flickers in the same way. I dont understand what to do.
Will re-flashing the ROM solve the problem? Where can I find the stock ROM for Micromax A116i. Please link me to a guide if there is any. Any solutions will be appreciated.

Use mere rom by megatron.....it has an included flashlight....pls flasg that

I think it'll be a hardware problem
Anyway 4 confirming flash the stock firmware using sp tools if still the problem persists thn ull hav to go to SC 4 service

Im using stock gingerbread
My problem is whenever i use the camera. after i take a picture. it crashes

when um about to take a picture the flasher works when it focuses but when i take a picture even in a dark light condition the flasher doesnt work..... then some guy told me to flash these libs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818253 and after i did that now it says unfortunately system ui stopped and i cant even open camera please help me ..... my rom is Real ICS R4 Lite
Did you try reflashing your phone? If reflashing is not a big deal, just give it a try

Whenever I open a camera application, it just says camera not detected
I'm rooted, and using Sony erricson's rom
I've been using the rom for quite awhile now, no problems until 3 days back
I've tried everything, and pulling battery out, and and even factory reseting..
I recall deleting some system apps, like the camera apk, and some others...
Is it because of me deleting the camera app? Or something else?
Need help please!

try doing a fresh install, maybe something went wrong with some app and damaged a file or two... the install will surely fix it.

Have you dropped your phone? Maybe the camera connector got disconnected or something.

Hi, My camera is not working I tried SAD ICS Rom which deleted my stock rom and infact it wasn't installed rather it gave an error of 'assert failed'. I tried certain roms a few just started working, in a GB rom both the wifi and camera were not working then I tried Yoda's ICS this time luckily my wifi just started working but both the front and rear camera are not working when i tap this app it screen just splashes and it returns to homescreen i tried Amaze Camera app found on a forum on XDA, it got installed but whenever i tap this app it just force closes... pl help me get out of this condition I m 70/100 without my camera so pl...
P.S: in certain forums i found that the camera starts working when phone is opened by its screws and the camera is pressed a bit, i tried that too but in vein so...

Nevertheless: did your perform a full wipe before trying others ROMs? Camera has to work... Try to reflash stock rom

Yeah i wiped every thing except sd card before installing the kernel and flashing rom.
Guyz help me in getting back my camera in app drawer as it is not present and i checked in engineering mode when i click on camera engineering mode gets exited.....any solution regarding this will be appreciated..

Hello,
I just updated my Canvas HD to the 4.2.1 Update. Followed the tutorial to flash the updated rom. The update went well, no issues there.
But after the update, I could not find the camera app in the app drawer.
Also,
When I try to run the application, through the lockscreen widget, it only shows the front camera, and not the rear one.

I installed the Camera Nexus 7 (official) from Play Store.
now, the camera is available in the app drawer.
But I still cannot switch to the back camera.
Please help.

M facing an issue related to camera. Whenever i tries to open camera , it opens but inside that touch screen isn't working.
M also unable to capture pics.
Im on rooted stock rom.
I tried restoration many times,
But that didn't solve my problem.
Any ideas?
Or anyone can tell me best alternative for stock camera.
