[Q] device won't turn on... - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

please help me!
Every time after I turn off the device ... it's just won't turn on until I do factory reset.
sometimes it's just stuck on some application...not a specific application, and it's becoming hot and turn off itself.
and i have to do a factory reset every time after it turned off =\
someone know's what could be the problem? it's very annoying...

Have you rooted or flashed a custom rom?

nah i have done this like 5 times with z4root and nothing happens :/
Sounds like you have messed up your phone by removing the touch screen files. I did it once, but i got mine fixed by factory reseting. Then installing another rom.

I'm sorry..can you help me by finding the links?
well, I tried to do that all over again, but I can't install the custom recovery from rom manager because it requires internet connection...so now I found out that my 3G is not working either. :/ so I'm stuck.
Try installing the rom you already have on your memory. Before you install, wipe everything.

[Q] [HELP] Bluetooth Reboot LOOP !

Hi,
first I already searched for similar problems but i didn't find any thread that helped.
So.. I've SGSII with the official stock rom and not rooted, the phone was working fine and I've used the bluetooth before several times without any problems.
suddenly I needed to receive files via bluetooth, but once i turn it on the device start rebooting endlessly .. till i turn the bluetooth off
it will reboot every 10 seconds so I've to turn the bluetooth immediately once it start..
I'm using the official rom JPKJ2 2.3.5 with it's stock kernal, and never rooted the device before.
is it a manufacturer problem ? or something else ?
and how can I fix it ?
excuse my bad english, and thanks in advance =)

If it's worth the trouble then Try Factory Reset... Since your device is not rooted. Get CallLogBackupRestore and SMSBackupRestore free from playstore to backup your sms and call log. coz your device will wipe all data. Test see if it runs fine with factory defaults
check for the latest bt update?i mean is ur bt up to date?

I'll root the device now and backup the data using titanium backup, then will try factory reset.
I'll update what's happening then.
thanks alot =)

Bluetooth Problem with STOCK ICS & KERNAL

Till last night my XM's bluetooth was working all fine but this morning when i turned it on my phone just rebooted and got into bootloop
I wiped cache & dalvic cache thinking it might make some difference & my phone booted properly but when i again turned on my bluetooh
again phone rebooted and got into bootloop
This is not the first time i'm facing this problem but 3-5 time the reason i flashed my phone because of this problem & this time i'm hoping
someone to help & recover my phone without flashing or restoring backup.( i dont have even )
My friend has ray and he also had faced this problem once.
Xperia Mini
Stock .587 ICS
Stock kernal
no mods nothing just a clean stock ICS
Is there anyone facing this type of problem or have an solution?
You've been here for over a year and still spell it as "kernal" :what:

Let me guess! improper shutdown where the screen just frizzled out?
Had this problem on a stock based custom ROM(ICS) then i downgraded to GB Bluetooth is all right now! Reflashing the ROM may not work as the problem returned after one week!
Hoping kernels did not do the job for me! Downgrade was my only option.

[SOLVED] Phone wakes up immediately after being locked

Hey there!
I'm on NeatRom 5.2 (4.1.2) with Apolo 4.12, but I've got a problem. Sometimes, immediately after my phone has been locked it wakes up, and I have to unlock and lock it again, because trying to lock it without unlocking won't work (I've tried for smth like 6 times in a row too )
Anybody help please? Thank you so much!
EDIT: I've sorted it out with changing my rom (Neat-->HCT)
EDIT 2: IUpdating NatRom to latest version sorted it out too :good:

You may have another app that is doing something to wake your phone just after it locks - have you installed anything recently?
EDIT: It may be worth going back to cwm and cleaning cache/dalvik - just to make sre your apps are optimised.
Thanks for your reply. I've checked with Wakelock detector if there's something that keeps my phone awake, but I found nothing, and I didn't install something new.
I've tried wiping cache and dalvik too, but it didn't work :banghead:

OK - next step then run GS2RomNuke @hawkerpaul in cwm then reflash your rom and see if the problem persists.

I'm gonna take a nandroid and try, and will let u know.

Its either that or uninstall all of your apps and reinstall one by one I think
So..I've tried uninstalling everything after a clean install and restore of some apps, but the problem remained, do I changed the rom. I'm using HCT rom now, and I've got no problems at all!

Phone booting in loop and cannot unbrick

Hi !
I am using a Samsung Ace S5830i since 2 years now with a custom ROM : Ace-i-Sure 12.0, all worked properly.
Yesterday I installed an app, I do not remember which one but I think it was a game, then my phone rebooted and looped on the boot animation.
I am used to unbrick my phone and change ROM so it did not scared me.
I tried to flash the stock ROM I used to flash everytime my phone has been bricked. Flashing went OK but my phone kept looping.
I tried to wipe data/factory reset but nothing changes.
I tried with another stock ROM found here and nothing changes either.
Do you know what might causes this problem ?

I tried flashing your firmware amolgosavi and followed exactly the steps of your tutorial brijeshep but nothing changes...
Can my phone be hard-bricked ?
I don't know why it happened, it was working well since a couple of months ?

You can try this..Flash Stock ROM via ODIN.. This will help:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d7AS3Is4bk
and no it is not hard-bricked...
Hit thanks if I helped
I tried all the solutions you gave me but nothing works, I do not understand...
I might buy a new phone, but I ain't got much monyer, I can spend maybe 100€ or 200€ maximum
Does your phone enters into download mode and detected in odin?
What's the status during flashing ?
Then try the flashing methods on another pc.
