I havent been able to find any concrete evidence saying one way or the other.
First is it possible to run Xposed on a rooted GS4 from Verizon?
Second what are the requirements for running it aside from requiring root access?
Currently I am using VRUAME7 with a 16Gb SD card formatted in exFat (never changed it after rooting).

I am on ME7 as well and I can say, without a doubt, Xposed works great. All you need is root, and a module like Wanam or Notach.

What version of Xposed are you using? I was just looking at Wanam on the Playstore and they have a link to v2.2.
Also how is your battery life? Right now I can pull a solid day and a half between charges with 50-55% screen time.

Xposed 2.2 is what I am using. Well I am constantly using my phone for so many different things all day long, and listening to music all the time as well. Still I get a full day out of my battery. It was the same before I started using Xposed.

It could be a setting in wanam or something in the phone settings. Not missing my clock and have been using it for a month or two now. Wanam doesnt make any permanent changes to your phone so if you disable the module and reboot your phone will be setup how it was before you installed it.
Hit thanks if I helped you out. Doing a little bit of reading goes a long way. Sent via tapatalk.

so this morning when i looked i had device status normal (rooted phone) now after adding the wifi to the status bar and putting all apps in the multi view its modified. question is which one changed it and once in modified will i ever be able to get it to return?... or is it a trip that once it says modified it cant be undone?
I'd guess it can be undone with a Odin back to stock... I've done all those mods and the wallet n framework tweaks and mine still says normal. I'm curious as to what triggered it

not real sure how this things reads normal or modified but i just did a restart (first unforced one since the mods [obviously there was a forced one with the mods]) and now it says normal again. oh well.

Ain't nobody got time for that
If one was using the stock ROM but had it rooted, updating would presumably deroot the device, right? Or would the update fail?
I meant Q-slide was suppose to be working with other apps, like the whole browser not just certain videos, and it was suppose to work with other apps natively. In the notification bar there was suppose to be a Q-slide bar under the brightness bar and you could select apps to play over your current app.

I'm sure someone will. And then ROMs without AT&T bloat will come out. Just have a little patience. We've all waited this long, what's another day or two?

Can always bloat unistaller from market.
bloat isn't really a factor here but we can all expect better JB roms
Took AT&T long enough
I'd like to share some battery results... it's phenomenal so far. Installed and then took a nap for ~2 hours, that's where it flat lined at 16%. A little early to say, but first impressions are legit.

Dude I NEVER had that option since I took the phone out the box at the AT&T store. You're saying you had that to begin with? I find that very odd....
So I did some searching around to see exactly what Q Slide is SUPPOSED to be and I think you must have this feature confused with something else or another phone all together. Even on various videos and LG's own website, Q Slide is used to watch VIDEOS and use apps at the same time. It says absolutely nothing about having 2 different apps on top of each other at the same time. I think you are confusing yourself mate.

Can anyone please confirm it or correct me? If I'm right can you give me ideas what to look for in a ROM that will work with this method. Thanks and sorry if this has been asked. Personally, I've never heard of what you're describing. The only way I know of with MK2 is to root using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565758.
After that, your only option for roms is Safestrap. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2441441. You will only be able to install TouchWiz 4.3 based roms. Make sure they're compatible with Safestrap before you install.
My advice would be to do a lot of research. This is a good place to start. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2606501.
Good luck
Edit: Just noticed your profile says your using AT&T. This is the Verizon forum.

This is the Verizon forum, not at&t. However I believe mobile odin is only useful for restoring the phone to a factory state without a computer, not flashing roms, yet you must be rooted. I could be wrong though.

Ok looking like I misunderstood then. Thanks for the clarification. I don't think I trust the idea of the safestrap. I know it's safer, but I have been flashing ROMs for years and the recovery method makes me warm and tingly. I don't think they'll ever crack into the ability to flash the way we're all used to. For every genius we have that's capable of figuring it out, Samsung has 10 that can stop it. I pray they get it, but my hopes are fading.

safestrap has been around for years for other phones and recently hashcode ported to the S4 last fall. I have used it since that time with zero issues and have been running several ROMs at a time to evaluate, with again no issues with safestrap. Not sure why you wouldn't "trust it".....as it gives all us non-MDK owners ability to run something else than just stock.

Exactly, I've been hammering away on Safestrap since my RAZR and it's really safe just like the name implies. Granted I could flash AOSP on the razr, but my guess is at some point kexec will come around for the S4 as well. Too many really smart people working on that project for it to fail in my opinion.
Anyways.... For now Safestrap is awesome, and happy to have it.

I have a Verizon S4 rooted and with Safetrap installed. I formatted a couple slots within SS so I could test out a rom or 2. I think, from reading, that I cannot use any ASOP version roms. Correct me if I'm wrong
I checked both development forums before I wrote so if I missed any thing please let me know.
Plus after you create a slot within in SS do you have to do any thing to the partitions or any thing else so you can run a rom?
Thanks for any help

Xposed module and remove bloatware, thats about it. Keep rooted and dont let it upgrade or you will lose root. The 4.4 has no root.
And if you choose to try and remove bloat through TiBu, be very careful. Actually, better to freeze than remove.

Lets just double check....
What OS are you running?
Are you rooted?
Have you got root checker?
Are you sure TiBu said "not compatible" or "for rooted devices only"?

If you were to go into app manager, you would find Knox in there 3 seperate times. I have warned you about removing with TiBu, so no whining allowed when you delete a part of your OS when it is attached to another file.
Still no recovery because the bootloader is locked.
