Hello I purshased this phone some time ago:

at etotalk
I didn't like the rom that was installed on it so I asked customer service to send me a new rom, which they did.
I folowed the instructions using sp flash tool and everything went fine until the end I have this image:

(well not exactly because I am using another version of the sp flash tool)
But when I try to turn the phone on, nothing happens...

I also tried to use the sn write tool as indicated here:

But I couldn't make it work yet.
One last detail: I am using a normal micro usb cable... am I suposede to use something else? I find contradictions on this matter on internet.

I want to change his firmware because there is some chinese apps that I can't uninstall, I can't use Google Play because is chinese. there is no similarity b/w your and mine set .. apart from the name..
yours is totally different beast .. but i doubt the info u posted is true .. because u seem to be using mt6577 which is a dual core .. second mostly i have seen it with mali400 ... also it is always quoted with android 4 icecream .. not with gingerbread.. so i fear urs is very weak thing and the figures are just changed to false values..
though i may be wrong ..
as far as rooting it is concerned .. try googling it ..

Since your device is different and me too new to this world i won't be of too much help. But let Me tell u few things which i have came across .
Don't un install Chinese apps. Those are system apps with deceptive names.many people have reported bricking their sets after removing the Chinese crapp ..
Where are you getting the Rom from ? That should mention his Rom root etc..

I will be pleased that I just know how to root this phone, not for deleting stock apps, just for do something interesting with the phone. use android system info .. and another software which is downloaded from net .. i do not remember its name .. but on my other thread i have posted link to that app site . download that app .. and also paste that app info .. also post the pics of ur front and back of phone sans its battery cover so ppl can easily identify it.. or guide u ..
remove the imei number from the post and any other personal info ..
thats the max that i can guide u ..
once you get to know whose chip it uses .. then u may have some luck in finding a rooting method..

and its running gingerbread not ics ..
so try some methods of rooting which were meant for sets using mt6577 chip and were gingerbread based ..
a good place is the following site .. though u will have to use google translate for that .

then browse it through google transalte .. and at the same time open it in russian in seperate tab as google translate wont display all the elements in the page .
match ur set with those mentioned ..
and then try ur luck ..
but i would suggest u to not think about cwm and custom rom .. as i have tried cwm and i am now recovery less .. and god forbidden if i loose its fw then i will have pretty expensive brick with me ..

There is no such model in the threat about phones with mtk6577 and no absolute similar model in all forum... I think that may be incorrect details or something ..also I think that is such a rare replica of Samsung Galaxy S III. :d

have u tried mtk droid tools ?
try few versios of that app..
first install the mtk65xx drivers . ( i installed the zte drivers floating around on this forum.. dont remember link .. but search them..)
then run mtkdroid .. then attach ur phone through usb cable.. then click on the root button .. and see if it works ..
try v226, then v227 then version 2.3 of mtkdroid toools ..

thanks i have tried it but it says "fiasco! not possible to receive root shell!!" i think my internal storage of my phone is set to read-only because even the other methods cannot copy the Superuser apk and stuff anyway is there a way i can fix this ?please help me .

go to factory mode then try it ..
to go to factory mode .. turn off .. remove battery for few seconds .. insert battery .. then press and keep pressed the volume up key and power button .. when u see a menu factory miode .. release the keys and start mtkdroid and then connect the set and then click root ..

Thanks alot but i try the factory mode holding the volume up +power buttons but my phone just starts as a normal boot something i noted when i press the power +volume down buttons it brings up the spreadtrum phone test mode and still i can root in this mode .I there another way i can access the factory mode and root it ?

Cannot access SIM
I have the same phone as mentioned in this forum. I bought it in Shenzhen.
This is my problem:
I used *#*#4636#*#* to access Phone Information. Then I changed preferred network to TD-SCDMA (China's 3g version). Now, I cannot access my SIM. If it is in Airplane Mode, the phone has no problem. If Airplane Mode is off, then the phone has no signal, and it is also laggy.
I tried Factory Reset through Android settings, Factory Reset through Recovery Mode, Factory Reset through Fastboot. The SIM is not yet working. The SIM works in other phones.
What should I do?

Install Antutu Benchmark from Play Store and tell me your system info please, mainly the processor you have, I may be able to help if it is a MTK65XX.

Ok, not a mediatek device but i have been having luck with another tool lately. Go to Play Store and search for and install SRT Appscanner. Once installed open the app and tell me if it says vulnerable for either of the bugs listed please.

Ok, now please go here:

Download Impactor from this link, then extract the files once downloaded. Make sure USB debugging is enabled then hit open Impactor and hit start button. If it is successful, you will just need to go install SuperSU from play store. Once you have SuperSU installed open that app and it will ask you to update. Choose continue then normal and you will have root access!
If you need help finding drivers for your device, you can use this to help install generic drivers that will work:

I'm searching the web for some info about this China Phone, but don't have success. If some one own this phone, I need original rom. Info about phone are:

This is all i have because booting is not possible. I need at least lk.bin file and maybe i will restore the phone. Any info is very appropriate.

Hi there, I also have this phone...bought of ebay as a cheap chinese version of the galaxy SIII, mine is working fine so I used adb & MTK Firmware adpater utility to try and render a rom for you. It is attached for all of you.....I used cm11 from a wiko stairway and ported all the files from my phone using adb to this rom...
hopefully it will work....
unfortunately my recovery mode does not back-up my current rom in case of mishaps....so....with nothing to lose you could test it as yours will only be in the same position anyway lol. hopeful for it and for you!
The boot.img file came from the wiko stairway so may not be fully compatible but gotta test it to find out! it does have the same mt6589 chipset though! this is my first port so please be patient with it.

This is all i have because booting is not possible. I need at least lk.bin file and maybe i will restore the phone. Any info is very appropriate.

a friend of mine bought a Samsung S5 clone which resulted to be an ALPS GT-I9600.
These are the specs as reported by CPU-Z:
Display: JDQ39.I9600ZSUAMDF
hardware: mt6572;
kernel version: 3.4.5 (eng . linux . 1398851142);
Screen resolution in pixel: 480 x 854
Total RAM: 1857 MB
Internal Storage: 0.14 GB (sic!)
Available RAM: 47 MB (2%)
Now, the problems... please guide me on how to solve them thanks a lot:
1) There are some problems with the internet connection (3G) with some operators... I guess this is a common problem and I read something about IMEI overwrite, but did not understand a lot... can anyone explain me a bit the procedure? Why is it necessary?
2) The device has really few available memory, therefore it is not possible to install anything due to shortage of memory... it seems also that the "Move to SD" option for all the apps installed is disabled by default. How can we free some space?
I'd love to find an alternative ROM without bloatware and maybe root.... but any alternative is welcome anyway. Can I install any ROM intended for phones which have identical specs? Where should I search for these?

+PLEASE PLEASE dont do anything funny with that phone i am an o in this.It has costed me two phones firstly it took me 6 hours just to root that phonei used vroot 1.7.8 the only way to get it is to let your older version update itself (i did not find any standalone of this)If you end there and reboot it it unroots itself (shuame failed to root this phone)....Then you need to install supersu.apk to fully root your phone now it can be detected by mtk droid tools as root shell
I used different versions of mtk droid tools and i got totally different results (weird) in earlier version of mtk droid tools i only got around 320mb of backup (everything included system.img,boot,recovery,secro..etc).This one could only make files for flashool excluding system.img.
On mtk droid tools 2.5.3 i got a bigger recovery around 1.2gig of raw data that included system.ubifs.img (291mb) nodl_system.bin (302mb) and system.ubifs.tar (302mb) and all the other stuff.......This one gives me an md5 error when trying to create files for flashtool
everything is messed up
This phone has close to no free rom only around 500kb .Also the actual ram is not 2gig its 224mb and the processor is actual dual core which had a maximum of 1ghz on the second core but the first one is1.6ghz
it got caught up in a bootloop when i tried to move all the system files to an sdcard using mounts2sd(such a great program) but the problem arised when my sd cardsecond partition got erased by mistake
My advice please dont mess with this phone

The phone is no good to install apps, games,
If seller given real spec of this phone and yet if you have made purchase then its your choice,
If seller misled you by saying 2GB RAM/16GB rom etc then If you buy this paying high price and hoping to get nice performing clone of s5, then forget it, ask for refund.
This is just dual core, slow phone.
can be used just to read small e-book and browse net and some time the page also hangs.
Voice call seem to be working Ok but not used much.

Hi,
The same advice of the other guys, don't try to flash it or you will brick it like it happen for me. I do the same trying to increase the internal storage but i finish by bricking the system partition.

My clone samsung is the same.
Is there anybody to send me the factory rom?
The version of the rom is not important; I just want to unbrick my phone.
Would be happy to send the ROM and factory image to you but, I don't have a recovery program on gt-i9600 and don't know where to get one. To the person who wants to root your gt-i9600 you can try installing KingRoot.apk and if that doesn't work message me.
