Best Buy LGOG deal - AT&T LG Optimus G

FYI, Best Buy has ATT LGOG for $1.00 + tax with 2 year contract. No plan restriction for upgrade either. I just picked up my 2nd one.

[Q] What did you pay?

What did you guy's end up paying for your Evo 3D?
I got roped into a 2 year contract and had to pay the same $199.99 like anyone off the street would pay. And they basically told me that the $150 Silver Premier upgrade credit I had waiting for me didn't apply.
I feel as though I have been ripped off.
The way the math seemed correct in my head was this:
2 year contract price: $199.99 (was not in a contract before)
SP Upgrade Credit: $150.00
------------------------------------------
Cost out of pocket: $50.00
Seeing as I started this account with my own Evo 4G that I already owned outright, I think Sprint got one over on me.

Regular price for this phone is $549 (probably similar to what you paid when you bought your evo outright if you bought it from a retail store and not used from ebay/craigslist). The $199 price is the price AFTER your $150 credit and other discounts.
I bought my 3d from wirefly for $149 no tax. I got a $25 rebate for using the wirefly link on fatwallet.com. I then got a $75 credit on my sprint bill by calling in and renewing contract. Lastly, I sold my old evo4g for $185. So total price was:
$149-$25-$75-$185= I got paid $136 to upgrade to the evo3d (sprint waived the $18 activation fee also.)
I did the 99 dollar trade in deal through radio shack I had to give them my old EVO but I'm happy with this new phone.

I also ordered through wirefly for that price. Don't they automatically extend your contract when you order the phone? What was the activation process like when you received it?

So when you receive your phone there is this hugh warning saying "READ ACTIVATION PROCEDURE BEFORE ACTIVATING PHONE". So i read the procedure and they tell you to call this wirefly number. I did that and all they told me was to turn on my new phone and follow the information on the screen..(why were they neccessary). I left my old phone off while I did that. The process took less than 10 minutes I beleive
And yes they automatically renew your contract for two years. I called in to get the $75 credit since my contract was going to be extended two years anyway
Pre ordered mine from Radio Shack ...
199(phone cost) -150(traded in Evo) -50(pre order gift card) + 15(otterbox Impact case) + 25(invisible shield screen protector) = $40 Out Of Pocket!!!

Didn't you have to purchase the gift card when you placed your preorder? Thereyby making your total out of pocket expense $90?
$199 upgrade... even though I was still within my first year lol!!

That's exactly the same deal I got for my evo3d.- the otterbox case. Brought the htc rubber case instead.
Sam's Club
$174.88 @Sam's came to like $190 with tax plan to trade in old Evo for $150
I wish I could get "roped" into a 2 year contract...
I have no discounts available, except what they would give me for a trade in on my evo. so $549-??? = way too much for a phone
I would take definitely take it for $199 signing a new 2 year agreement

knlmwq explained it properly you got the right price from sprint although you could have gotten the phone cheaper elsewhere. Your best bet is sell your Evo 4G back to Sprint through their buyback program: h**ps://secure2.sprintbuyback.com/consumer
They should give you $150 for your old phone. Good luck.

I was expecting to take a hit because Best Buy and Target (and even the Sprint online page) told me I'm only "early upgrade" eligible which means only $75 off because I got my Evo 4G this time last year... but I ended up getting both myself and my wife an Evo 3D for FREE! I initially posted this here but it was moved out of this forum (to my objection). Here's how my wife and I got free Evo 3D's, and a bunch of Sprint deals I didn't know about where Sprint may actually PAY YOU to take an Evo 3D:

So as I understand it, you prepaid $50 for a gift card, which was then applied to the cost of the phone when you picked it up, which means you put a $50 down payment on the phone and still paid $90 out of pocket. According to your own post.
199(phone cost) -150(traded in Evo) -50(pre order gift card That you paid for out of pocket) + 15(otterbox Impact case) + 25(invisible shield screen protector) = $40 Out Of Pocket!!!
I paid $216.98 after taxes with 2 yr upgrade status. I was only only 8 Months into my 2 year contract and was expecting to buy the phone at full price. I was greatly surprised 2 days before releasing how my problems with my Samsung Epic would relate on me getting a new phone at 2yr upgrade price. I can say that my bank account and saving was very happy to keep its $300. I could have kissed the lady from Sprint through the phone.
Paid $179.99 two year contract

Upgrade through Best Buy Instore

Long, Long time lurker. Been rooted and romed with the eris since ~6/1/10
Background: Upgrading from Eris, I have had the phone for 18 months+. I am eligible an upgrade and for the $50 loyalty discount with Verizon. I have decided to upgrade to an incredible 2.
From Verizon.com Price is $99.99+tax after $50 online discount and $50 loyalty.
From Amazon.com price is $29.99+tax when selecting upgrade to my line and going through the whole setup besides finishing the buying the phone.
EDIT: Best Buy in-store. $0.00 no additional ETF just the Verizon contract.
Is there any reason I shouldn't save $70 and buy through amazon? I don't find anything in the terms and conditions I am worried about. Looking for experience with amazon wireless.
I am still planning on going to a store tonight and see what kind of deal they will quote me.
Edit: In store price was 179.99 after $50 loyalty. I laughed at them, the stores seem to have raised prices for the holidays. They wanted $349.99 for the thunderbolt.
Side note: I hate paying for phones I got the eris towards the "End of it's SALES life" for $109.99 with $100 MIR and it has been a great phone. I am looking for a similar experience with the Inc. 2.
Thanks for the help.
As far as I could remember, pretty much everywher else had the Inc2 for free. Try wirefly, and tigerdirect.
Last week (not sure if they still have it) the Thunderbolt was free at Best Buy.
Checked Best Buy looks like they have the Inc2 for free. They don't seem to require an additional ETF like Amazon. I drive by one on my way home from work i'll report back.
Thanks
I upgrade through Best Buy last night. Phone was free and there was no additional contract to sign or any other requirement. I am not sure how the partnership works between Verizon and Best Buy with the price difference and no additional contract.
I walked out without paying a dollar. I only had to refuse the screen protectors and cases once. It was a weird feeling walking out of the store with merchandise without spending anything.

Cheapest Price for the Evo 4G LTE?

I am impatiently waiting to get my hands on this beast! I have made friends with the store manager at my local Radio Shack. He said that they could match any price, anywhere! At one point, Wirefly had them for $119 but sadly that's gone. Bestbuy has the $199 plus the gift card. I have $200 in hand. Where shall I go?
Went to the Sprint store the other day. Got talking to a rooter sales guy. Sprint has a buy back program. He said $99 for the EVO 3D (I paid ~$55), $55 for my iPhone 3G (not even worth having it's so slow, my 4 year old would rather play with a broken nextel then the working iPhone), plus the $150 for new 2 year upgrade agreement and the $200 istant savings puts me right around $60. Hopefully I can use my preferred members discount to knock off the activation fee.
Walmart for 149.99, that's probably the cheapest place that has the phone in stock right now. If you count the gift card on Best Buy then same deal.
Best buy, $50 gc + 5000($100) rewardzone points with 2yrs agreement of course. Even less if you have a trade in phone.

Thats what I plan to do, but at my BB they told me their running a promo if you trade in an EVO its a $50 card plus value of the phone and I also have the $50 for the phone freedom....So -$50-100, if all goes as they say I'll let you know in the morning
I was considering BB but since the phone is no longer available for pre-order I'd miss out on that $50. I wish I hadn't trusted WireFly so much and just pre-ordered as a backup plan. Now I'm trying to decide if waiting another week is worth paying $100 for it or not.
I haven't seen where you get $50 for activating a new phone and I know the $50 pre-order GC is gone now.. But if that activation one is good I basically pay $150 OOP and get $100 in credit on my RZ account bringing it down to $50 after everything. Not bad..

Isn't that the deal that was available for preorders? I think the OP is referring to what's the best deal now since the phone is technically available in stores as of today. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. And as another thread said you cant combine the best buy reward zone points AND get the $50 gift card. I think walmart $150 sounds like the best no hassle deal as of now.

[Q] US AT&T HTC One X+ Sales and Deals?

Has anyone seen any sales or deals for the US AT&T version of the HTC One X+?
I know it just came out on November 16th for $199 (2yr contract), but I am hoping to get a better deal soon if possible.
My searches usually return results for the One X, not the One X+.
I doubt we will see any Black Friday sales for it, but if anyone sees a sale now or in the future, please post it!
I will let you know when I see any sales as well.
Thanks!

Extremely unlikely you'll see a deal on this phone in the first week it is launched.
Amazon Wireless has the AT&T One X+ for $139.99 with 2 year contract, $549.99 no contract:
http://wireless.amazon.com/HTC-One-...=INDIVIDUAL_NEW&sr=1-1-entd&qid=1353446555306
Amazon Wireless has changed their pricing on the AT&T One X+ as follows:

$169.99 with upgraded 2 year contract,
$549.99 no contract:

Amazon Wireless has changed their pricing on the AT&T One X+ as follows:
$139.99 with a new 2 year contract or with upgraded 2 year contract
$549.99 no contract
AT&T & Best Buy still offer the One X+ for $199.99.
Anyone see better prices?
The only problem with getting it from Amazon is that if you have grandfathered unlimited data you'll have to give it up. Even if you're doing an upgrade they make you choose a data package, and keeping your existing package is not a choice. That's how it was when I was shopping for it in December.

That is a valid concern if you have unlimited data. Also, I believe Amazon will charge you a fee if you change the data feature within 6 months after purchasing the phone.
Pricing update:
Amazon Wireless has changed their pricing on the AT&T One X+ as follows:
$79.99 on new accounts with a 2 year contract.
$129.99 with upgraded 2 year contract and new lines with 2 year contract
$599.99 no contract
Best Buy still offer the One X+ for $199.99 with 2 year contract.
AT&T now offers the One X+ online for $99.99 with 2 year contract. (I am not sure when this online discount ends)

[Q] HTC One Unlock

Hi,
In the midst of the HTC One going on sale on BestBuy, i am thinking about purchasing this phone which is receiving much praise and acclamation on this website.
But before i do so, i would just like to ask if this phone can be purchased without a data plan. By this i mean if it can be purchased without the coupled fee of 'x' per month for the length of the contract, in this case 2 years. To clarify, i was wondering if it can be purchased for $99.99 buy itself so i can use an AT&T prepaid sim.
The main reason for this is because i am living in Australia where the One is vastly overpriced and i want to get a HTC One overseas so it can be unlocked and then used in Australia.
In summary, can i purchase this from from BestBuy without the monthly fees and have it unlocked so i can use it in Australia.
No. To get the $99 price you have to sign a two year contract with a data plan.
