Hi everyone,
I've just recently acquired a Feiteng GT-N9300+ v2.
I've spend 2 days and already bricked the phone and restored it via the testpoint method, flashed cwm and rooted. But since the beginning i have a problem with the 3g. When i go to the engineering mode and i try to change to wcdma in the rat options it simply change back to gsm only.
I've checked other configs but everything seems ok.
The result it that i only have 2g.
I wonder if anyone with this phone or an mtk6577 has experienced this problem before?
PS: i have 3g network in the area and i have 3g with the same sim card on another phone.
PS2: In my area i think 3g operates as 2100mhz but from what i read the phone supports it.

I'm Naveen from India. I installed various ROMs with the respective kernels - CM7, MiniCM9, MiniCM10, JBMini, Shin Engine, etc. but i face 2 problems with all of them. Here are the problems I'm having with the phone now:
1. Not able to connect to the mobile operator network. I use AirTel and I'm not able to connect to it. I have tried with other SIM cards too. I tried searching for networks and out of the list that appears, when I select AirTel, I get the error "Can't connect to this network right now, please try again later"
2. Bluetooth not switching on
Though Wifi works, I assumed that it's a problem with the baseband and I tried flashing baseband from the stock "ftf" file but it's not getting to work.
Please help me if there's any solution to this problem. I love the custom ROMs and I do not want to go back to the default stock. Thanks!

I have this strange data connectivity issue, I am on a network(bsnl/mtnl, mumbai) and it supports hsdpa at 2100mhz band and our s2 supports that. now the problem is I am unable to connect to hsdpa network(data) signal comes fine no issues there. but with the same sim if I use my frnd's xperia go I am able to get data connection just fine. moreover if I move out of my area then I am able to connect on s2 also. I dont know what the problem is.
I am on jellysnap rom. xxms4 modem and xxms1 base.

did you try to change the modem? or you can check this with other rom whether it is working there or not.

you could try checking your apn settings, detection of apn are different on different roms.
or try forcing the network to use WCDMA mode (go to phone, then dial *#*#4636#*#*), go inside the first menu there and force it to use WCDMA (incase the rom toggles are misbehaving)

yes I tried that.. I have changed ROMs, changed modems... I am running out of options... !!! tried forcing wcdma mode too.. .
I think problem lies with hspa+ and HSDPA.... I
I will flash a stock ROM then we will see what happens... !!!

check your APN settings while your moving ROMs too. see if theres any different

no apns are right as i can connect to edge network just fine in evry rom.
Hi everybody!
I'm using a SGS III SHV-E210S (Korean LTE) running the official 4.4.4 KitKat ROM. I have been able to connect to the 2G network in my country in Africa since I got this phone. However, all the mobile networks here changed to 3G a few weeks ago, and since I have been unable to connect to the data network.
The only way I have been able to have my data connection working is by changing the network mode in the Hidden Menu from default "LTE 850 Preferred" to "GSM ALL", but this only gives me access to the slower 2G connection. All other options show 3G but the phone has no Internet connection.
I thought maybe be it could be a baseband incompatibility issue in the stock 4.4.4 firmware? So I tried flashing the modem for 4.3 on to my phone but no success with that either. Is there any fix available for this problem?? Any links where I can get it as well will be highly appreciated.

I have a lenovo a708t device 2g works perfectly but when I switch to 3g it shows no service have flashed the stock rom on it and the problem still persist I have set all apns pls help the problem still persist pls help
