I did the update, went fine for me (AT&T rooted stock), then I asked my coworker to check his, since he's on a rooted S4 Active on AT&T. It let him install and run, which was more than he'd been allowed to do since he got the phone. He was going to add a card and check it out to see if it worked for him as well.
Works for me now. AT&T user in Utah where they declined to allow us to use Google Wallet as they are trying to push us to use ISIS. So happy to see we can use GW!

Working here with rooted ATT s4 running miui rom!.. I am fairly certain my build.prop is not stock att however, but as is after flashing miui from miuiandroid.com and loki patch, I was able to download wallet from the play store, install and get it up and running no problems.
** Verified my build.prop is set up as
ro.product.model=SPH-L720
ro.product.name=jfltespr
ro.product.device=jfltespr
I have no issues having had it like this thus far with this set up, have had it as such for over a month now.
*** Tap to pay says it is ready, I will check NFC asap at my local gas station and report back if anyone is interested

I installed the cracked version provided here, set it up and it said I was good to tap and pay, updated Google Wallet via the playstore to the latest and it seems to be working. Now, I have not tapped to pay anywhere but the update worked and it still says I am ready to tap and pay. We'll see if it work.

Works for me on Pacman ROM, as well.
Rooted S4 with mf3 update on AT&T, everything except tap to pay seems to be working.
Damn, that's kind of the entire reason I wanted to use Wallet.

While it appears to open without errors on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with CM9 I cannot login due to my provider Bright House Network missing from the listings. I know BH does participate since it works with the other HBO.apk (1.4) I was using prior to this (With the close and reopen trick), and my Samsung LED has HBO Go built in that I can use as well. Although this apk said I didn't have the Amazon app store installed before it fully opened. So for me yes, and no... Perhaps a more updated apk will work in my situation with all the providers listed. Or someone can hack the HBO 1.4 apk to not be so judgmental.....

HBO Go and all variations of the words don't come up in the search. It's like it doesn't exist. Had to get it via website and your suggestion worked, thank you.
HBO Go works flawlessly on G Tab P7510. Here is what I did to get it to work.
1. Download apk from op.
2. Open web browser from GTab, go to Amazon and sign in.
3. Download HBO Go. (It will say not compatible with this device. Do you still want to download? YES, DL it.)
4. Install apk.
There you go!

mine will work if I uninstall the app then reinstall it, but after a while it just opens then fc's
Now my bro is having fc issues with his tab too. He is wondering if it has something to do with ics rom. He is going back to HC to check if it works. I will report back with an update.
Lol yea, I have Fios, it's the application. I noticed that it loads but it fc's right after it begins loading data from the server. I'm trying to capture the log to see what's going on(happens so fast it's hard to see). I've done clean installs and it responds the same for me. Starts, begins to load then fc's with message "Unfortunately, HBO Go has stopped".

I'm using the latest AKOP with the newest Pershoot kernel. I've tried cleaning dalvik and cache, fresh ROM etc, same result. Was thinking about lucky patcher but I think it's being flagged server side (the man!).

Go to the browser login to amazon app store look up HBO go for kindel you won't be able to click download or free it will say not compatable just click buy with 1 click then follow the steps you won't be charged cause its free then it will say you now own the app install HBO go from the link on the first pig of this thread that's it your done

Those inactivity charges are going to eat into that 10 free dollars they gave out before disabling it.
Anyone else finds it ironic that google wallet dosen't support rooted devices, but the only way to make wallet work is to be rooted?
On a side note I like google wallet, but these are pretty bad growing pains hopefully google wallet can survive them.

Hopefully they turn you guys on soon. I just happened to randomly check this morning and mine worked.
Google Wallet told me on twitter that they are working with htc and sprint because it has to do with a nfc component on the phone.

Being rooted has never had anything to do with the problem. The only thing I know I did differently prior to it working was doing the marketplace error fix of unsynching gmail and rebooting, then resynching gmail and rebooting.

This ROM is not a CleanROM. Its a stock rooted and all yours!
CSC Files are the files that tell your phone what kind of phone it is. For example; if you use the Verizon Patch files then this will convert the ROM to the Verizon version (sans the data icons) and allow you to access the Verizon Apps in the Play store. It will also set the APN automatically, etc...
This patch also has the correct RIL files and correct APK files, etc... To work with the Verizon Radio....
The patch in the OP can more than likely be applied to any 7105 ROM but I cannot assure you of that.

Make sure you get a lock 100% in Maps before starting Navigation. Use Wireless and make sure all location services are turned on.

I made the ROM via Remote desktop.
If you cant GPS locks thats not unusual fro some devices on VZW. I would try wiping internal storage and wait until GPS locks while on WiFi and its usually good from there.
It has to do with the differences between the International / AT&T Base and the Verizon base. PITA but once you get the lock you are good.

Nah, thats not a firmware update thats for the samsung software like the software store and the Music hub, etc. Its not the same as a carrier update. You can safely allow it to stop the nag and if you dont use any of those Sammy apps you can just disable it.

You'll get better performance running 4.7 as that will have been tweaked and modified where this rom is just stock.

Hey Scott, just wanted to let you know that gps usually has probl3ms when trying to get a lock when inside. I have had this on Ace, and a few other international bases. If you go outside, it locks, and works good after that. I never have to wipe anything.

I installed Kies today and it is telling me my device current firmware version is NOT supported and I can't update the firmware.

I dont think I would be takeing this in to verizon, I dont think whomever you bought this phone from aquired it legally. That is definitly an in store demo phone, and im pretty sure they arnt going to sell anybody an in store demo version.

I activated the phone at the Verizon (not a re-seller) store to make sure it was clean.. so no issues there that popped up.

As stated, phone activated at Verizon store.. Not listed as stolen.
Get Rom Toolbox from market and you can freeze and uninstall that. Also search for a stock rom and flash over it after being rooted.

I understand that but was stolen from store or was employees that had app. Just because its stolen from a Verizon store doesn't mean you can't activate it lots have active numbers or clean esn unactivated

I would flash the stock firmware in Odin. Someone else had this issue with a different phone and that solved the problem.

I will look up odin (or if you have a link to it that would be awesome!!) .. to be honest I rooted my old Bionic when I first got it almost 2 years ago, but I haven't done a ROM swap before.
When I do a Rom file does that also update the firmware?

that will take care of everything man. stock recovery, stock firmware, put bloat on everything but delete your data on your phone (apps, contacts, photos etc)

Worked perfect!! I ran it twice, and then connected to Kies and gave me the latest firmware update...before it would tell me it wasn't compatible.

Yeah I have a few stores around that I can use it at.
Also I believe I read that isis is doing 20% cash back on serve purchases up to 200 $ cash back. Have not tried to Confirm. Believe that is good through end of Jan .

When I activated ISIS and a Serve account two weeks ago, it was a $10 promotion. Guess I should have waited since there's no way to change it for the $50 promo.

How do you activate Isis?
Won't show up in play store on dev edition..lol
Won't work on htc one max because it's rooted. even tells you your phone is rooted. So I'll just use it for a root checker app!
Just got it and it worked. In the apps section there is an isis root bypass post with the apk in the zip file.
I keep getting an error when I try to add servu card to Isis. Says technical difficulties, check back. Anyone else get this error?

Can confirm this does work. Once signed up for Serve, took about 5 minutes for the card to fully activate on ISIS and about 5 minutes after that, boom $50. Awesome. Thanks, OP. :good:
My play store is saying its incompatible with the note 3.... any idea why?
Nothing even comes up for me in the play store when I search for "ISIS" or "ISIS mobile wallet". Not even if I click the link on their webpage.
Edit: If I try to add it via the Play Store website it tells me my Note 3 is incompatible.

I've read in some places Amex requests your ss # and/or w-2 to verify your idenity after signing up. Anyone who recently signed up experience this?

I'm not rooted but I used the apk that came in the .zip in that thread and voila, works. Free $50! Nice!

They do ask for your DOB and SS during signup.
Thanks, using the zip worked for me and got my credit. Sent to a friend and she couldn't find the app in playstore on her unrooted phone. But she was able to use the apk to install and get her credit

I installed the Isis apk, the root bypass apk, but when I open Isis, it says that I need a new Enhanced SIM card with a Secure Element. Anyone else getting this?
