I tried unlocking the bootloader of my t mobile l9 and i got to the step a step where i have to adb reboot oem-unlock but it kept on just rebooting and not entering the unlock screen. So i tried the lelus method i flashed the t mobile jb kdz and used the hex edited bin file and now its rooted, but the touch is mirrored and the phone is almost impossible to use... What can i do to get it working again?

Maybe if you flash a kdz it will work again normally

Which twrp version? There was a brief day or two that the gs3s twrp wouldn't read zips either but was fixed yesterday.
However, with the amaze you should be using 4ext anyway. Make your life easier

thats out of date version, and do you have root permissions? because the database checks online after reacquiring root permissions... go into recovery and try to fix permissions then restart the phone and try again, but make sure you have super SU installed.. superuser is kinda buggy for some reasons with some apps

if your having issues flashing something with twrp use 4EXT, you can use hasoon's AIO toolkit to flash 4EXT and the toolkit also pushes supersu to your SD card so you can flash it in recovery

Yes, do this. If for some reason it doesn't work because it says device not detected because USB Debugging isn't on you have to do this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=41076144
Download the mini sdk file from that post. Use the instructions there to access fastboot. Then use the command "fastboot erase cache"
I install the all in one tool kit still nothing here the problem when I'm in recovery and try to reboot it says no os found. So I put it in fastboot boot.img fastboot recovery NOTHING I also did a adv sideload from recovery always get an abort message I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!

If you're not careful it will get you drunk.
But seriously, it will give you s-off, and the means to unlock/replace the bootloader. And then flash roms, kernels, etc.
I would suggest reading a much of the thread as you can before doing it, though.

Just follow this guide after you obtain s-off. It's pretty straight forward.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2318159
On the recovery flashing, I used ROM Manager to flash CWM, before switching over to TWRP and using goomanager to flash it, so you can flash recovery from the device if you choose to.

Sounds like you need to install the drivers. Have you installed HTC sync? Did you get the ADB and fastboot drivers? You can get all this from the toolkits available in the development section.

Hey all,
so I've come into a bit of a conundrum. I was playing with the MaximusHD Jellybean 4.3 ROM. It was alright, but not for me. So I decided to flash back to stock. After a bit of finagling, I got a Stock Rooted 4.1.2 ROM for my phone, and was able to flash it. But now, I can't RUU my phone back to complete stock. Relocking the bootloader produces a **Security warning**, which prevents booting. Now, with an unlocked bootloader the stock ROM boots fine -- but locked, it doesn't boot and goes directly to bootloader. Can someone please walk me through getting my phone back to normal? I've used the RUU before to return to complete stock once before, except I'm not sure what I've done wrong this time around. Any help is appreciated. Also, I have TWRP recovery (latest version), unfortunately without a Nandroid backup
My phone works fine right now -- albeit rooted. Thank you!
Try flashing a stock recovery before relocking.

Exact same problem here
Hi,
I have the exact same problem here, i've had my HTC One with a 2-year plan @t-mobile but with the stock rom i haven't had any t-mobile bloatware/splash screen. Is that normal?
Also if i flash a stock t-mobile rom it hangs at the bootloader.

Unfortunately, flashing a stock recovery just prevented my device from booting normally. I had to reflash TWRP to get it to boot properly... unless I just didn't give the boot process enough time on the stock recovery.
You can put any recovery on your phone, lock it, and run fastboot rebootRUU from hboot to run the RUU.

Damn it's been a while for me but if you look in the stickies for DNA you'll find step by step instructions...you have download the SDK files onto your computer, connect the DNA to computer and run ADB to push all the necessary files (ROM zip and boot.img file) but this step only necessary if you are NOT S-Off...are you S-On or S-Off? Also did you create a back up "nandroid" of your DNA before trying to flash a different ROM? cause if you did you could do a RESTORE but again first things first, you S-Off or S-On?

He is s-on. He stated that in another thread. Also, you can fastboot flash the boot.img to fix bootloop issue. Just use the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img" (be sure you are in hboot and have the boot.img from the ROM .zip in the same folder as your flashing tools on PC, or use the flashing tool "windroid HTC DNA tool" in development section.)

Not true. I'm afraid you are misinformed.
I've unlocked all 4 DNA's that I've had on a Windows 8.0 - 64 bit machine.
First one with Jcase's original exploit. Second with Supercid and HTCDev unlock. Third and fourth with Moonshine.
If you're on Windows 8.0, downloading PDANet will install the correct drivers.
Windows 8.1 however, broke the Fastboot drivers.
Hope this helps :good:
As always, have fun.
