Hello, I really hope this is posted in the correct place.
I don't know anything about rooting or ROMs past the end-user portion of it, and I really appreciate everyone's hard work on all of this. Please forgive any ignorance that might follow.
I own an LG Intuition, and I would reallly love a Jelly Bean ROM or a port of CM10 - mostly for Google Now.
I understand that it is possible to run Google Now on ICS, but I can't figure that out.
My phone is rooted, but I can not find any custom ROMs for it anywhere. The international version of the LG Intuition, the LG Optimus Vu, runs Jelly Bean 4.1 stock. I believe the two phones are almost exactly the same. Would there be a way to (extract?) the ROM from the Optimus Vu and flash it on the LG Intuition? Or is anyone working on a Jelly Bean ROM or a port for CM10 for the Intuition?
Thank you again for all of your hard work developing for Android devices,
Benjamin Branchaud
Just search for "Google now for ICS"

As the title suggests, I am hunting for a ZTE Merit (Z990G) compatible version of the new Android 4.1 Jellybean. I've been searching for a few hours on google, other forums and this forum with no results. The closest I've come to is one for the ZTE Skate, but I don't want to risk a brick due to incompatibility. My phone is rooted successfully already, I just need the ROM now.
*edit*
I would also settle on ICS (ice cream sandwhich) if that is available.

Hello!
I've flashed many a ROM to my old HTC DHD, but have recently upgraded to the Samsung SG3 LTE (i9305). I've yet to root, but was wondering if anyone has deveoped a Stock jelly bean rom for this device yet? By stock, I don't mean stock Samsung/Touchwiz, I mean stock, unbranded Jelly bean, the pure google experience like you would find on the Nexus 4.
I've searched and have yet to find anything. I don't post much but follow the forums and flash a lot, so go easy on me!
Any help or a nod in the right direction would be great.
Thanks
Tweedskin

There isn't any official update to 4.2 from LG. You can try using CM 10.1 or PACMAN which is based on 4.2.2 if you have unlocked bootloader but they have problem with audio.
I want to get the LG Optimus L70 from Metro PCS. I see it has KitKat on it already, but it seems there is a rom on top, and i dont really like the look. So i wanted to get vanilla Android 4.4 on it, but im new to Android and i dont know if i can just install the vanilla, original version onto that phone... do i have to wait for a port or rom developed by the carrier or some other 3rd party?
Please help! Thanks in advance.
Hello everybody.
I have been wondering for a long time now and I thought maybe someone could answer my question.
I loved the holo ui on android jelly bean, and i own a phone with android marshmallow, my question is can i make a android 4.3 rom for my devices, if yes can i just follow a guide on the internet about compiling your own rom, or no, why not? I can't find anybody who don't want to update and just wants the newest possible, i have been googleing for a couple moths but i really can't find anything,
kind regards, Laurens
Thank you!
