1 - Any way to remove the vibration notification? I like to have vibrate on all the time, but I'd like to remove that icon.
2 - How do you set a full wallpaper? Even the ones Samsung gives you can only be snipped. I'm currently on Go Launcher, and those wallpapers are full sized. Anyone know how to make all images full size?
Thanks in advance.
you have to have the proper resolution for the wallpaper the samsung ones wont strech because of it.

Has anyone looked into this? I find the ever preset icon annoying enough to not use the feature. Is there an app to hide status bar icons?

I don't think I'd want to do that. I just want to get rid of unneeded, persistent icons. Especially since so many apps stick things in there just to prevent from closing.
i too cannot stand that stupid vibration icon, i know its in vibrate, hy do i need an icon for it also

Exactly! I also just installed the awesome Badass Battery Monitor * and am really interested in a solution for hiding unneeded notification icons. I can't believe this doesn't exist.
* - "awesome" is my opinion, "Badass" is actually part of the app's name

Sorry but another guy having problem with notification item. Certain apps like GTA 3 will stay on my notification bar after exiting the game. I tried the clear button but it won't go away until I reboot my phone. Any alternate way to get rid of?
Errrrrrr sorry I couldn't resist my question when I saw notification question.
Hoping mod can be ported to our device

I am not sure if there's an option in the paid version. But in the free ver you can only set it t transparent so it looks like its not there

In settings you can select transparent notification, which means no (visible) notification You can change priority to lowest, then there is no notification symbol at all. The problem then is that it maybe gets closed by android system, so transparent is better..

If you're looking for different icons for the notification toggles, other than the ones supplied with the app itself, then there's lots of good ones to choose from here :
http://icondatabase.net/icons/black-bear-blanc
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1983788
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34087763#post34087763
With a bit of time & some GIMP work, you get what's in the screenshot below ( thanks to BlackBearBlanc for the base icons )

The 'off' icons are Dark Buttons 2
The 'on' icons are Dark Buttons 2 with the matching JBBlueGlow icon overlayed in GIMP, Photoshop,etc...and saved out.
I use SwitchWidget Pro and can change icons directly however I find there aren't enough of the system icons to complete my set:
Vibration Mode
Silent Mode
NFC
Flashlight
GPS
Auto-Sync
All the brightness options
I hope we can get them added??

Did you check all the options? With notification toggle you can have all what you mentioned, you can define what brightness changes should be available with every click (or have a menu to do it manually) etc.
What exactly are you missing there?

I am in no way a pro themer or editor. I compiled a system.apk removing the location icon and battery icon from the notification bar since they bug the crap out of me. Of course u need to be rooted and use root explorer to push the apk in system/app folder. Just make sure u make a quick backup of the original systemui.apk just in case. Once pasted make sure permissions are set and reboot and voila.
I am not liable nor responsible for messing up your device use at ur own risk.
Download Systemui.apk. Herehttp://db.tt/gtama91x

Thanks, now I just need to change the color of the status bar

Thanks for this. Quick request though, any chance you could make one without the alarm clock icon and posibly even get rid of the AM/PM for those of us using the 12h option? or can you just tell me what tools you used to do this, I've done some patching before but haven't been keeping up with the latest tools for this.
If you can get rid of the AM/PM it would be awesome as it takes up way too much space in the status bar

Can we have one that just removes the location icon?
There's a guy in the Developer subforum who put the WiFi toggle back into the Notifications panel too. Maybe you could add that in as well.

How can you brighten the icons on the left side of the notification bar? Is anyone familiar with what hack would be needed to have the same level of brightness across the whole bar? What needs to be changed in the systemui apk?
Each notification icon you want to be "brighter" needs to be edited in each app you have a problem with. There is no way to make all of them the same in any easy manner.

There is a dimming that is done on the left side of the notification bar. There has to be a setting in systemui that is masking the brightness. You can see the difference in the icons when you see messages that appear brighter (with the same icon) in the notification bar.

If you use the xposed module and the sense six alpha tool box you can hide it. All though I would like just the zip

I use android tuner for the start up manager. And when I select battery manager app not to run on start up and reboot the icon does not show and the app still works. I'm sure boot manager for xposed would have same effect.
