Hello.
Again, I have a problem with connecting to the wireless network secure 802.1x EAP protocol. Since version 29.2 + are the problem,trying to connect to the network and after a while disconnects. (Worked on version 29.1).I installed a different kernels because I thought it was just this fault, but nothing has changed. (Tested on siyah, void echo speedmod etc.)
Is there any advice on this? Could it be the fault of the modem? Because I have no idea, and really need this network and don't want to change this system.
I would ask for help.

the fix didnt work on lightening 2.3 rom.. wireless didnt even get turned on
I have custom rom installed on my galaxy ace.......and whenever i try to connect ma pc with ace's hotspot it gives me error "connection was unsuccessfull. You have limited connectivity"..........anyone please help

If u r talking about wifi-Hotspot, It never worked for me on pc.
And if u r talking abt USB, try a re-flash or some other ROM
If you will be sharing by wifi, i recommend using barnacle wifi tether. Its free in the market buy requires root.

Don't think any AOSP-based roms natively support Wifi direct. Maybe try an app like SuperBeam to do it.

You may need to download an apk that lets you mess with settings in order to unlock the hotspot I can't recall the name but I will look for it.
