Got the phone waking me up since I have it. With stamina mod on, always worked perfectly. Maybe you have different settings mixed with.

Right, I checked, it's the alarm from the "Alarming" app which doesn't work...the stock alarm works fine in Stamina Mode.

Ok so you only need to allow alarming to be on while using stamina mod. Click on stamina mod and set it up.

Look you talk about 2 totally different phone and software. I don't remember Sony telling that this phone wake up if you set an alarm. My HTC, Asus and Samsung android devices also do not.

If you enable 3G and WiFi at the same time Android will only use one connection, first will try to connect via WiFi and if not will connect via 3G. It won't connect via WiFi AND 3G at the same time.
Yes its normal.
looks pretty similar to what I have seen on mine.
The main exception is the Awake time without the sreen being on? Maybe something still running. I found my biggest battery killer for backround apps was my Jorte / calendar running when using alarms on appointments.
stopped that and much better!
Alright thnx mate and how do u came to know that which app created problems regarding awake ?
seems to be awake for quite a bit there in the middle without the screen on. is that just music streaming??
its normal

The partial Wakelocks was the most telling for me, cant remember the exect procces now but for me it was something like: android.starting.alarm.calendar (I know thats not it exact, but it was always high!!)
So suddenly whenever I lock my xperia S, every 2 mins it turns on by itself! Please help?
Maybe an application is doing this??
Are you using a custom kernel or rom???
Try factory reset,if this doesn't help, send the phone to service center.

Mines just start doing this too for the past 3 nights. When phone is locked. Screen turns on and then off then after a short while turns on a. Didgain. This is after I updated phone software last week. Did you update your phone too?
No I didnt I just uninstalled few games. I also checked the running apps nothing seems to be the cause. would a factory reset erase all data on the internal memory?
Sent from my LT26i using XDA
Mine did that during a couple of warm nights a while back. Had a fan on, and I'm pretty sure it was the air movement from the fan that was making it happen. Really don't know why though.

i was working out in the field, i was frustrated with i became angry, smashed the phone on the ground, the problem fixed! that moment onwards!
worked for me!
Every time I snooze my alarm, I get this notification nag as an ongoing notification, and there seems to be no way to make it go away without a reboot. Any body else have this or know how to make it stop or go away? Clicking on it does nothing-no app is opened and it doesn't dismiss. As it's ongoing, trying to swipe it away does nothing. It's dammed annoying too.

I have the same problem. I have tried numerous things to make it go away but nothing works except a phone restart. I run a Samsung Galaxy S3 on Verizon stock rom and rooted, android 4.1.1.

No. Snooze on one, snooze and smart alarm on another.

Try turning off the alarm section in the voice commands from S-Voice, if i remember correctly there are options to disable certain features, if not thats most definitely an S-Voice notification, i was getting that All of the time until i just disabled s-voice..
Damn didn't realize that option was there. Bet that takes care of it, thanks.

First, I flashed Beans 4.3 OTA leak then his official 4.3, and both worked perfect. No random reboots or fc's. Then I just installed Sophisticated 2.0, and again no issues.
Other than the fact I keep getting a notification saying my wifi connected to my network even though it was already connected, and I always have it set to keep wifi on during sleep.
I tried searching, but couldn't find anything that sounded like my issue. I attached a screenshot of the notification I get at least a few times a day.

That is an annoyance, but thankfully one that can (newly) be turned off. Go to settings, wifi, advanced and uncheck 'wi-fi notifications'.

Thank you so much. It wasn't really a big deal, more annoying than anything. Coming from 4.1.2 I never had that, but that had that stupid wifi always in the notification panel.

(Sorry for the late reply - missed the notification on the forums.)
Glad to help - I've always hated that ongoing alert in the stock ROM. It's great to have an option to turn it off.
I have a weird issue with my nexus. About a week ago I was using it bed time with about 50% battery, put it down and woke up next day and battery was completely depleted. I was watching a flash video so I thought maybe Puffin running flash could cause this so I ignored it. (maybe it continued to run in the background)
Today however, I wrote up to find out my Nexus had turned off again over night without the battery being depleted. It's as if it decided to turn off on its own. I want doing anything fancy with it either. Was just browsing, put it on my desk, wake up next day and it was turned off.
Had anyone else got this issue? Or have an idea what might be wrong,?
It actually happened to me again last night. Is there a log file somewhere I can have a look at that does system crashes or something before I RMA it?

On the shield there is an auto shutdown feature where you can have the tablet shutdown after a given duration of inactivity.
I don't know if there is a similar setting on the Nexus 9 but it may be a possibility.

Thanks

Dont think the Nexus has such option
My Nexus 9 has done this a few times. Last night I started a movie in bed, couldn't finish it, so I went to bed. I woke up and went to check my tablet and the double tap wouldn't wake it up. I had to hold the power button down for 30 seconds before It booted.
Ok, @ombadboy, could you please show a screen shot of settings/battery/Usage.
This should show a list of apps which are consuming your battery. From the one which most consumes it to the least.
Then just to make sure also post a screenshot of settings/apps/running.
From this we can see which apps have highest running priority, and are using too much RAM.
