Need recommendation for an email app - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am looking for an email app for my phone. I've tried a number of apps, but I haven't found someone which does everything I need.
Requirements:
1) Handle Exchange, Gmail and Hotmail accounts
2) Prefereably, I should be able to get a notification of arriving emails which specifies in which account it was received (or be able to set up separate widgets for each account).
3) Reliable (see below)
4) Price - I'd prefer a free app, of course, but low-cost paid apps are also OK if they have a free trial version
Emoze and K-9 would both seem to have everything I need. However, I haven't been able to get my Exchange account to work with K-9, and Emoze has proven unreliable - it sometimes doesn't receive mail for days after it's arrived in the account.
Can anyone recommend a suitable app?

Looking for email\contacts\calendar package

Hi all,
I am looking for a email\contacts\calendar package. My primary requirement along this front is that I need access to two Exchange acounts (each on a different Exchange server, one of which is my own).
Moxier mail, I thought, would fit the bill - but it will not do multiple accounts unfortuantely.
Touchdown, apparently, will do multiple accounts - but each account must be in its own profile, and you can only have one profile working at a time.
Any other suggestions?
George
Well for email I have been using K-9 Mail it is a really a pretty powerful email client that is completely free.
For calendar I use Clearsync's Android App. It is a pay for calendar service that has a focus on security but also being able to share.
Both programs can access exchange/outlook.
Moxier works very well and has exchange support.

modembug: Moxier does work well, however - I did say I required multiple account support, which it does not have.

[Q] which email app do you use and why please.?

Please as title states, which email app do you guys prefer, on the sg2, and why please. I want to be able to use gmail, so jus want to findout what you guys are using, to receive or send your gmail emails. I also want the option to schedule the sync, so your input very much required.
I use the stock Gmail app for my gmail. gmail isn't my primary account so not bothered by any failings, etc.
I use K9 for my main non-gmail personal account. Am very happy with it, can schedule timings and specify a quiet time, when I don't want to be distured by email notifications (i.e. when I'm asleep).

I use gmail and have set it (via the web app) to collect hotmail and another pop3 account, so it's perfect for me as I have all emails in 1 app, and I do like the gmail app!
K9 Mail Sync settings.

Apologies for the delayed reply.
I think it's as follows:
Menu --> More --> Settings --> Account Settings --> Fetching Mail:
"Folder Poll Frequency".
Also under the above and within --> Advanced:
"Refresh IDLE connection".
I "think" that's what you're after... to be honest mine has always just worked.
Hope it helps!
i like samsung's email app. Only thing i cant figure out is how to put it to push.
I tried the Samsung E-Mail app but it really pissed me off more and more. You can hardly make any settings, just specify how many mails to load (timeframe) and how often to update, that's about it. the funtionality and look are standard.
I switched to K9 mail again and instantly remembered why I always came back to that app. Not only does my Push work flawlessly for both accounts (one business, one private that collects) without any "premium" account hassle making use of that annoying social hub, but I can specify all sorts of settings like how much data to transfer by default per mail, to load images, and many many more.

to make push work you have to set your mail account as an imap account. to do so you need to make it a premium account which leads you to samsung collecting your mails via the social hub ... I'd recommend k9 mail. looks the same, and you can make almost any necessary setting.
The stock Gmail app does everything I could ask for
I switched to EnhancedEmail when I used to have a DHD as the stock email client didn't sync contacts and calendars probably.
Enhanced did all the syncing perfectly, however, it just did not allow Exchange accout contacts to be created or added (i dont really know if the stock email client had the same problem or not).
With the SGS2, i used EnhancedEmail first, but recently switched to the stock samsung email client - it seems to work flawlessly, albeit, with the limitations to customisations stated by others. I use Exchange (both my my company email and hotmail) on Push, and at that, it is good enough for my usage.

Plus the stock mail app draines more battery then k9 due to being more active or active in the wrong way I don't know, but there is a big difference, at least on my phone.

Email Client - Multiple Mailbox Problems

Hi,
Has anyone had any problems with the default Email client on the Prime (not the Gmail one)? I seem to have a problem if I have two email addresses configured in the Email client. The first account (mine) works perfectly fine, but the second account (my wifes) seems to randomly delete emails from her mailbox on the Prime. Sometime it will delete all of the emails that it has stored in memory but other times it will only be a few.
Anyway have a similar issue like this? Its really annoying!
That is pretty strange, what kind of accounts are they? (Exchange, IMAP, etc...)
I'm running 5 different accounts, and have no problems
I also struggled with the included email app. I have 8 email accounts that I need to use, and got tired of pulling my hair out. I installed "enhanced email", and paid the $9.99 for the program, and have never looked back.
The app is super easy to set up accounts, and has all the preferences that I need for each account (check on a schedule, do not check, delete or don't delete from the mail server, etc.)
A bit pricey, but in my opinion well worth the money. If you go to the play store and search for the app, then go to the author's forum mentioned in the write up, you can get a link to a free trial download.

They are pop3 accounts from my ISP. Yesterday I deleted my wife's account and re-added it to see if that fixes anything. If it continues I will have to look at 3rd party clients.

[Q] Best email client??

What email client is the best on playstore?
I've used K9, but I think it's a bit outdated, I like the holo look, but it's not a deal breaker
What would you recommend for me?
I'm using outlook.com (Exchange ActiveSync), imap and pop3.
Preferably free, but I can pay also.
For over a year, I use MailDroid, I'm very happy with it. I've tried K9 but the case is not appealed to me.
using stock email apps (for hotmail only)
gmail then gmail apps
that all
For me the best combo is: Stock mail client for yahoo, hotmail other spam accounts. my official is Gmail and I use the normal Gmail app. I find the gmail app to be one of the very best.
You should try Aqua Mail (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kman.AquaMail&feature=search_result). I used it as my primary app. Its very robust and the support is extremely good.
Why to use several clients for different accounts? Use one with all your accounts configured.
For me Emoze Push mail works a treat. It solved my POP3 account autosync problem I had with the stock client as well with K-9.
Also you have Push option for POP mails which is nice.
I'm trying to get my outlook.com account to get pushed into an email client.
But I can't get it to work, I've tried TouchDown, Moxier etc.
Any more suggestions?

[Q] A very powerful email account to handle multiple email accounts (more then 10-15)

Hello,
I searched for my basic problem.. like many others else might also be looking for a solution but cannot find any.. many other threads are empty http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517060.
I am using Samsung Note 3 32 GB and want an email client which can support multiple email accounts easily.
1. I will have to configure around 15+ email accounts. including:
3 gmail accounts
1 hotmail account
1 yahoo account
and rest all others pop/pop3 accounts from different or similar domains.
2. I will mostly be on wifi atleast 18+ hours a day (from home and office)
3. Will only require to access emails from few accounts in urgency when needed on mobile data connection
4. If there is somekind of good spam control available it will be great.
5. If emails are not downloaded locally on mobile, that shall be better as well, as I receive more then 200+ emails everyday and dont want the device to slow down because of same.
6. Checked various options on internet, each has pros and cons and makes me very confuse
K9
Cloud magic
Blue mail
Default email app
Gmail
Inbox
Messagebox
etc. etc.
7. I dont want an application which will display advertisements..
Please guide me to right solution.. I am willing to buy a commecial solution once I am satisfied with a trial account if available.
Thanks for reading so far.
