Download a program called Sideload Wondermachine and you can use that to install it using your computer..
or if you know how to use adb
adb install <PATH TO THE APK>
ex.
adb install Z:/MyAPKFiles/TxMissed.apk
It's there a way to do it from my phone? Computer is down

I don't believe so. :T unless you root your phone and edit build.prop to allow unknown sources.
I recently made a theme on the Ultimate Theme Kitchen. After I downloaded the .zip and transfered it to my external sdcard and attempted to flash it, CWM threw the error at me "syntax error" operation aborted. Any help?

Hi all i create an update.zip.
I signed it, after adding apks (/system/app), datas (/data/data) and modifying the updater-script.
So, when i flash it, the recovery executes it perfectly, but when i reboot my phone, only a part of the apps that i wanted to add are installed and the others are in /system/app but not installed and when i try to install them manually with Root Explorer in /system/app, this is the output:
Code:
There is a problem parsing the package
Why does it happen?! What can i do??
I have ever a error when i make a update zip or can not open update zip what i can do??? I used a updatezip creator.

I have a rogers tab on 3.2 and im having troubles rooting. Ive downloaded the root.zip and placed it in the root of the internal memory.
When i try and lash it via the stock recovery by choosing "apply update from sdcard" i receive the following error.
"E:error opening /data/media: No such file or directory"
Any thoughts?
I've searched here and cant seem to find anyone with the same issue.
You need to Odin clockwork mod first them flash the zip.

You have to rename it into update.zip
Otherwise you have to choose it manually which shouldn't be a problem anyway.

ive tried changing it to update.zip and it still gives me the error. also unable to manually select it as i receive that error rigth after selecting "apply update from sdcard"
will try flashing CWM via odin... is it the same version as the 7510?
Do you have P7500? If so, I referenced the following link to root my Rogers tab P7500:
http://galaxytabhacks.com/galaxy-tab-10-1-hacks/how-to-root-galaxy-tab-10-1-the-easy-way/
found the issue.. i had encrypted the device, hence why i could not flash anythign from sd card
even after installing CWM i still could not flash anything as recovery could not get access to sd card, ended up having to flash rogers stock rom back and starting over.
I'm trying to install Cyanogenmod on my Razr, so I'm following the steps by trying to install Safestrap first but adb isn't working correctly
C:\Users\#\Desktop\RAZRDroid\ADT\sdk\platform-tools>adb install C:\Users\#\Desktop\SafestrapSpyder3.63.apk
Whoops: didn't find expected signature
read_central_directory_entry failed
file 'C:\Users\#\Desktop\SafestrapSpyder3.63.apk' is not a valid zip file
rm failed for /data/local/tmp/SafestrapSpyder3.63.apk, No such file or directory
This is the error I get everytime I try to install. adb does recognize my device and I have 3rd party sourced checked along with developer options enabled.
I've also tried installing from my phone but get a " 'Parse error' There was a problem parsing the package."
I've tried using the default File Manager & ASTRO to no avail.
Is there something I'm missing?
Try redownloading the apk. Might be corrupted.
