I want to replace "System/lib/modules" and "Sysltem/lib/hw" with the other ROM's modules and hw folder. I simply copy pasted but I am getting installation aborted error in CWM. Any help please?
What's the error you get, status 7 ? Did you sign the new zip?

Status 6 is an error that occurs when its reading a file in updater script that hasn't been encoded in Unix.. When working with updater script use notepad ++

Ok, i will try later because i have that put the oficial Gingerbread with KDZ because I enter in bootloop. In Tuesday I have do the same. I don´t understand this. I think that my phone is crazy :laugh:

status 7 error is when build.prop is damaged it happens when u wipe all and just switch off the rom just flash a gb with kdz and flash a new rom

The model of the phone is right because i don´t change anithing in updater-script. The updater-script is a original CM10 build 6 by Rashed97

I finally managed to root JB. It is a hassle free process. No kernel changing required.
It doesn't increase the binary counter.
Download here : Root
How to :
1. Download the zip and place it in the root of your sd card.
PS : SD Card is a must.
2. Reboot to the stock recovery.
3. Select install update from external storage.
4. Select the root.zip file.
5. Viola
Enjoy your rooted JB.
Note : This method has been derived from a method to root SGS2. Thanks to Phil3759 and his thread.

Excuse me perhaps I did not express it the right way I mean literally modify the ClockworkMod (eg modify the background image or color) and I do not think it can be done from Rom Manager

I would like to create a Recovery based on ClockworkMod's why I would be interested to open it, I tried to do with all applications that work with the file. Img but nothing, can not open it, give me all error

Ok i guess it was recovery related but now that i have switched to CWM i get the Status 6 error can anyone help with that

I verified that the the build.prop and the updater script are edited properly just not sure why this is still occurring

The new thread is because I'm haveing some problems with my Samsung Galaxy 550 (Or Samsung Galaxy 5)
I'm trying to install CyanogedMod with a Recovery ClockwordMod but, always I try, no matter what Cyanoged Mod I try, I'cant because the install is aborted and the CWM tells me: Can't Open file RAR (BAD) or something like that.
If anyone can help me, please.
