So I had to install a new firmware for my Lenovo A830, and I did a factory reset. However, it caused my device to reboot all the time - I can't even access the recovery mode. Here's the boot logo of the recovery after which the phone reboots. Here's the image:
oi39.tinypic . com/fc2otv.jpg
(Remove the spaces from the link)
It appears for 2-3 seconds, and the device reboots again. Also, it doesn't matter whether I press the combination of keys for the recovery mode or pressing the power button - I always get this boot logo.
The only way to shutdown the phone is to remove the battery.
Is there any way to solve this problem? Maybe to reinstall the recovery mode somehow? Or to clean up the whole internal memory from PC? The only thing is that because of the constant reboots I can't access USB (just for the 2-3 seconds until the next reboot).

How can I do that? As I said, I can't even access the recovery mode.
Thanks for the reply anyway.

No, it doesn't help. I tried already.
But never mind - I found a solution - Using Flash Tool I've formatted everything (using USB and without the battery).

Dear friends
I tried to change my icons by replacing the framework.res file which put me in bootloop, I had to remove my battery ( by removing the 10 screws on the back) to power off the device then put it in the fastboot to reflash the rom.
my question is there an easier way to deal with the bootloop without removing the battery?? (I hope so)
I think if you press vol up + power and wait till you have 3 vibrations.

Go to PC companion, update Centre, then fix my phone... Tada, it will restore everything back.

Use flashtool to flash stock firmware, can be found in development box!

I need this but my question is How to put the phone in one of the boot modes without the need to remove the battery with this complicated manner??
CAN ANYONE HELP IN THIS ?
It should work, wait till the phone reboot and when you see sony logo quickly press the keys...
First there is 1 vibration then another 3.

Yea, that should have definitely worked. There are other threads I believe where people had bootloops, and the device has successfully powered down.
I am quoting this directly from dooms "All you need to know thread": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526866 (which you probably should have read before doing modifications)
while device is power ON
Volume Up + POWER (for 10 seconds) -> resets the battery, its like removing the battery and putting it back in [device will vibrate once]
Volume Up + POWER (for additional 5 seconds, total 15 seconds) -> will power off hard, device will power down [device will vibrate thrice]

Try to time it when it starts its loop again, I don't see why you should ever have to remove your battery to reset, there hasn't been a problem yet that the key combos haven't solved.

Bootloop Issues
My phone the Sony Xperia Go... Has a boot-loop problem. it starts up and immediately goes into boot loop, (I lost power during the update because of a broken USB cord). I have tried the volume down button while plugging in the phone into the computer and it connects as an unknown device, but drops out too quickly for windows to find a driver for it. I have tried resetting it by holding the up and off buttons once it has been stuck in boot loop for a while but it wont connect to the computer. Any one else had this problem? how did you fix it?
My Xperia S is just a week old with locked bootloader.
I rooted it and backed it up thru CWM.
I applied a sound mod thru CWM which i did not like so tried to flash back my backup.
Before flashing i wiped everything possible, cache, data, system, dalvik cache, battey stats.
When i tried to flash my backup the recovery says there is ' MD5 Mismatch '
So now my Xperia S is stuck at boot logo, does not go into recovery, does not go into flash mode so i'm not able to flash thru flashtool or seus.
I tried holding Power and Vol Up button , but it only restarts the mobile and again stuck at boot logo.
Pls help i'm losing hopes.
Thanks in advance.
Have you tried turning the phone off, hold vol up and connecting USB and see if you can get it into fastboot mode?

ok dont panic, hold POWER + VOLUME UP and when it vibrates release the buttons. Boot the phone. If its still stuck than hold POWER + VOLUME UP for 20 seconds and repair the phone with seus since its with locked bootloader. If that doesnt work, download firmware around this forum and flash the phone

I tried everything. The phone does not turn off at all. When i tried to flash with flashtool or seus it only connects in charging mode.
Anyway i've given it to the service centre, if they cannot get repair it they will be replacing it.
Thanks for replies everyone, anymore are welcome.

Anyways, Got my Xperia S back . The service center people just had to charge for a day and flash the back the stock rom . I still dont get it how did they get the device into flash mode.
Another thing i learnt is that from sept 16 all sony ericsson service centers will be shut down and the customers have to go to sony showrooms for repairs or replacements here in india.
Thanks Everyone , topic closed for me.

Bad Recovery
I'm thinking I completely ****ed up my phone, but someone please prove me wrong.
I flashed the ROM but it got stuck on the bootloading screen. So I rebooted into CWM and did a SYSTEM restore.
Problem is, I restored the system to when it did not have CWM flashed yet.
So now, it boots into the custom bootloading image and stays there. When I hold power+volume to reboot into CWM, it loads the original bootloading image (as expected) and gets stuck there because (I'm guessing?) I did not do a full restore.

If you have locked bootloader, repair it via SUS or PC Companion. If you an unlocked bootloader flash the rom (ftf) via flashtool.

Charge your phone. You have to press and hold the volume up and power button simultaneously until the phone vibrates 3 times and turns off completely. Then try to connect the phone in flashmode.
Hello Everyone,
I had Jelly bombed rom v 7.0 (samsung gs3 sprint). I didn't wipe out data/ factory reset , so after flashing stock rom (factory one and then updated ones). Now it stuck on samsung logo flashing a in the background. So it seems like it trying find files or something. But not booting and turning on. I tried to put in recovery mode by vol up+home+power, but it don't work. I downloaded the jelly bombed from internet but it's a zip file so can't flash it with Odin. Help me Please!!!!
Thanks,
Dev
If you have a Sprint you are in the wrong forum
If you use odin, just run the stock rom over. I presume vol down and power takes you to download mode?

Yes, Thanks for replying. But It's now working. I was keep holding vol down + home + power util about 10 seconds but it never took me to the recovery. But the actual method is hold vol down + home + power and after 2-3 seconds leave the power button n keep holding other two. So I finally got to the recovery mode, deleted caches and wiped all data. After this restarted but the same problem. Finally re flashing solved the problem and it's working now!!

Take out the battery, put in the battery again. Press Volume Up + Power at the same time and keep pressing them. If that doesn't get you into recovery mode, try Volume Down + Power

Can you enter recovery mode? I dont think you can backup your files. Take out the memory card and format the device using Factory Reset in Recovery Mode. That is your only chance of reviving your phone.

Try pressing Volume Up + Power and hold it till you see the recovery screen. If this gets you to the Factory Mode, then press Volume Down + Power and hold. Then provide feedback.
