Scrolling in ICS is bad. When I scroll down a page, it will click a link and leave the page thinking I meant to click it when all I did was try to scroll down the page.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? I'm running AOKP 4-9-12 version with the Siyah 3.0.1 kernel.

ROM control in settings. Goto performance and you well see scrolling cache. Disable it.

I tried that but once I select force disable and exit out and go back in to verify it stuck, it says force enable again.

Yes, everyone knows the fix but you. In fact, the Dev (Task) knows the fix but decided not to include it.
Seriously? You think theres a fix yet the Dev wouldnt include it? ICS is still new, several tweaks are being tested to see which ones will work best. When the Devs know this, they will implement them. If thats not satisfactory for you, then downgrade back to GingerBread until ICS is more refined.

Go into setting then developers options. Go all the way down too Apps then background process limit. Choose At Most 4 processes. Even 1 process worked and made the loading thing go away. I don't see it anymore everything is instant.

What does this limit, apps running in the background?
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
Yes it limits the apps in background, so it "multi tasks" even worse.
More importantly, it doesn't solve the problem. Didn't help me at all. Some others report it may help at first, but it comes back.
well I set it back to standard and I still haven't seen that issue yet anymore.

What exactly is the back to home loading lag?

It's actually Sense reloading when you exit from an app. Instead of going right to the home Page, you get a little rotating circle for up to 20 seconds. It's been a problem with Sense for a while on a number of different platforms with different updates. Been reported on both the LTE and the One X.

Really if you use almost any alternative launcher it well be better, Rosie is slow and bloated. Still amazed how little free ram this phone has on boot, thought sense 4 was supposed to be lighter...

Maybe they have memory leaks

Its just cuz of what HTC set the OOM values to, and apparently didn't set Rosie to be locked in memory. Can be modified with root. But I, personally, set Nova as the default launcher.

Apex launcher took care of my problems.

You should try ram manager app by juwe if your rooted. Works great completely fixes the multi task issue. I paid for it but i think theres a free one with less options. It works like v6 supercharger script, has a nice widget with available ram batt and temp. Give it a go, i always have between 150 and 250 md of available ram and apps don't get killed.

This was happening to me too. I accidentally put my phone into safe mode. I did a Google search and was able to get out of safe mode by turning off the phone and restarting holding the volume up. The phone doesn't seem to have the problem anymore. I also noticed that some of my widgets(tether and bookmarks) were gone, which might have been the problem in the first place. I hope this helps somehow.
Wierd thing I've experienced, when on either beans 10 or cleanrom 1.5, I have experienced a dining of the screen only when opening the factory web browser.
Had anyone else seen this? Is there a setting I'm not seeing?
Sorry for newb question.

Do you have powersave turned on? Alternatively, if you want to still use powersave, you can tweak the options by hitting powersave to the left of the toggle in settings

Yes there is a brightness setting for the browser. Open the browser and press the menu button. In the pop up is brightness.

Do you think we will be able to make them go away at some point? Apparently you used to be able to task out the home button but they software patched the setting out.
Thoughts?

put it back by either installing the xposed framework and paulobrien's xposed mods or a custom ROM like AHRD.
problem solved.
So maybe this is normal but it seems odd to me.
Whenever I Connect to Wifi what looks like a app opens. But instead of a app it's just a black screen that opens and then goes away. It's very weird.. Anyone else experience thus?
Also I checked my running apps and don't see anything odd.
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
That certainly does sound strange. I don't experience anything like that... (goes to double check...)
So, no. Nothing like that. I'm on stock, rooted, no knox, connection optimizer turned off.
What about you?
When did this start happening?
Install any new apps lately? Sideload anything?

What rom are you running? What kernel? @kingdazy has the right questions, those are the others that leap to mind.
