Hi all:
Does anyone have any suggestions for good screen protectors for the Tilt2 off of Ebay?
I know there are a number of name brand ones which are good, but I have an Ebay gift certificate, so I'd like to buy from there if possible. I can't seem to find any of the good name brand ones on ebay, so I was hoping someone may have tried one of the ones that are available on there.
Suggestions would really be appreciated.
Thanks!
PS: I am currently using the one that came with the phone, and I was happy with its quality, but it has gotten quite scratched up, quickly, so I need to replace it.

Extremely easy to apply, barely any bubbles/air pockets to be seen. My screen looks like it doesn't even have one on.
Or you could try this link. I ordered mine, but I didn't received them yet so I don't have pictures to upload, but they look sharp

I've always ordered screen protectors from Clarivue. The one I put on my Palm TX 4 years ago is still on it. They're durable.
As to ebay, the seller I've always used for clarivues is JHongs. They currently don't have protectors for the Tilt 2 listed, but the last time I asked them to list one they didn't have up, they happily did so.
Just message them, give them the link to the Tilt 2 clarivue (linked above), tell them you're ready to buy, you heard they would list it for you, and I'll betcha in 48 hrs your new screen protector will be on the way.
I bought ebay item #250541670275. It only cost $2.98, it shipped from California, and I had it within a week. They fit the tilt 2 VERY nicely, and I can't tell there's anything on the screen. Buy it!
Thanks so much to everyone who replied!
I will definitely be ordering one of the ones suggested in this thread.
Thanks again!!

I wouldn't call it bad, but in terms of durability it's lacking compared to clarivue or boxwave or some other name brands.
im To late
but your best bet would have been zagg. most of those cheap plasic one's only hold up for about 3 month or so. zagg hold up until u decide to take it off.
www.zaggs.com that the main site and there should be some on ebay also. i kno that you have a gift card.

Don't get this if you have a Tilt2. Just thought i'd give you a heads-up (it'sthe T-Mobile version).
If you still haven't purchased any scrren protector, you must have a look at this, although it's not on ebay it's very cheap and offers full body protection.

If it's not cheap enough use 20% discount cupone PPCSG20
I have excellent experience ordering from Amazon and HIGHLY recommending this seller - Eforcity. (I've ordered 3 protectors for my CDMA and got 8 in the package - someone was pissed to my bennefit )
Anyone using the anti-glare protector? Does it really reduce fingerprints like they are saying?

They say "scratch proof", but 3 of mine scratched.
Also, those "invisible shield" ones leave weird residue that does go away after a while, but it gets annoying.
After trying 3 types of screen protectors, I would HIGHLY suggest the regular scratch proof ones. They really work and the bubbles went away after a night of having it on.

Generally an anti-glare protector has a matte finish and generally the crystal clear ones are glossy. That's the distinction that matters in regards to fingerprints -- any glossy surface is going to be print-astic and hold on to finger oils with the jaws of life.
I have a clarivue anti-glare, and it is definitely more resistant to prints than the stock HTC protector was. But it's not magic, or even oleophobic, it's just an ordinary matte surface.
I also recommend a decent brand like boxwave or clarivue above some no-name protector if you want to be sure it's going to be durable. I used the same clarivue for 4 years on my palm TX and it was in a 100x better shape than the stock HTC protector was after a couple of weeks.
$15 for full screen/bezel. Custom perfect holes for the camera and light sensor. Perfect fit. Plus 25% off with discount code "get25". 11 for a screen protector and free shipping is a steal.
This just popped up on google today. Been looking for awhile and been reading threads about the lack of screen protectors. Anyone had any experience with this company before? 15$ is alot better then 30$ for the crappy lexard protectors. Wet application screen protector like zagg but idk if its worth it. Picture shows it to be full screen and lifetime warranty. Plus Free Shipping.
I just ordered it. This Looks the most promising out of all on the forums

I use them on my Dell streak. Will pick one up for the grab. Has a nice slick feel to it so should make the screen easier to move our fingers around on.
I just ordered... but don't understand what the one they show for $24.95 is? The description is the same??

Ordered full skin (front and back) for $18.71 USD shipped to Canada. Can't beat that price. Looks very similar to Zagg's IS except its considerably cheaper (kind like before zagg started insanely overcharging their products (not to mention restricting free shipping to US orders with minimum purchase).
Thanks OP, thanks JimiSocks,
by the way, I did email them about the camera and buttons on the screen protector but never heard back from them. Lets hope it goes well.
In for 1!
I went ahead and ordered one as well. For $11 after coupon code it's worth a shot.
WOW!!!
What a find!!!!
Full glass coverage
I ordered one with the code $11 NOT $49 as per another site
I suppose I will have to punch a hole for the camera but the best is radiused corners and not just enough to cover the screen.
Now what I really have to see about is how much the rear skin covers with the clear skin. The carbon fiber option looks fantastic but no price for the Gtab.

Ordered with code.
Thanks to the OP
Ordered Mine, now Im just thinking about getting the carbon fiber back protector.
Let us know how this plays out,ok?
I am needing one badly...
Hey thanks.. I will have to try it out as well. Been looking for a good screen protector and for the price its worth a shot.
Once I get it I will review it.

Well I was lucky that the screen protector that came on my tablet had no bubbles in it.The protector covers the camera but the video is as clear as 1.3 megapixel can be. The reason I want to order another screen protector is because mine has less than a quarter of an inch lifted on the of the edges of the bezel. There are no bubbles in the protector but a tiny bit of the edge does not stick. It is not lifting up but its noticeable that there is air under it. I will also be ordering one of these screen protectors Friday as long as I do not hear any major complaints. I do not think I will change it out right away since I have zero bubbles in the default one but it will be nice to have when I am ready.

Another we need to let them know.
Loved mine till a corner came up. Won't get another cause it came up to easy.
I've used MIME, Spigen, and Nilkin and of the three Nilkin has been the best with MIME being the worst. The MIME feather that I had barely lasted a week... The corner shattered very easily. The spigen one lasted much longer, but it eventually wore out. My Nilkin one however has lasted me since when I first got my M8 shortly after it came out. The quality is excellent and it comes with everything you need.

It saved my phone from an otherwise bad screen crack. I think its worth the money, its durable and definitely one of the best ones that I have owned. I don't like Spigen (I had 2 crack for no reason) and icarez is ok but nothing special. MIME has always been good and half off a replacement well 40% is still better then paying full price especially if it's the users fault.

I can only say good things about the Feather in combo with a Diztronic TPU case on my N5. The only chip I ever had was by the ear hole after a particularly nasty drop and that was the point of impact from a table corner.
Still use GLASS-M for nexus 5

I have never used tampered glass screen protector.
How is the touch responsiveness compare to the plastic one?
And also the clarity of the screen.
Because I read somewhere that tampered glass might reduce the touch responsiveness and screen clarity. Again, I have no real experience on this.

I used GLASS.TR for my N5 for a short period and thought it was much better than plastic. I didn't do any gaming so responsiveness is something I did not gauge. To me, glass was much clearer and feels better, doesn't scratch. My fingers run much smoother over the surface, as oppose to some plastic surfaces where it seems to have a sticky residue, like SHIELD.
Looking at pics of the Nexus 6 has me thinking that the screen falls off towards the edge like the LG G2. If this ends up being the case then glass won't be a option unless it is fitted glass which I don't know if they do. I am just going by the one instance I bought a glass protector for my daughters G2. Maybe it was just the brand.......

This phone is designed exactly like the new Moto X and its sloped edges. There's a long thread in the X section about multiple glass protectors and all fail to adhere correctly because of this. Unless they find a way to manufacture these with the curve in mind, these will suffer the same issue.
Bought my first tempered glass screen protector from amazon for $6.99 for the G3. .33h thick. I will never go back to a plastic one ever again on any device. it looks awesome. Very scratch resistant and hardly or no grease ever collects on it so it is very streak resistant. This buy is a no brainer.
Install instructions.
After cleaning screen with some alcohol base cleaner and micro fiber i went into the bathroom where I had a hot shower running to reduce the dust in the room. I then used scotch tape and attached to the phone like a book with 2 strips attached on the side. I did not remove the inside protection sheet on the tempered glass yet. I was now able to fold the screen onto the phone like a book with precision. I then used scotch tape connected together as if to be double stick side and tapped the whole screen clean of dust with the scotch tape. I then removed the inside protection sheet on the tempered glass and folded it over onto the phone and viola! perfection!

So I take it there is no issues with screen sensitivity with this tempered glass protector? The ones offered through Verizon seems make screen sensitivity an issue.

I have to say I have noticed a very very slight sensitivty issue but very very infrequent. I find the return to be far greater than the loss as I was having far greater issues of streaking from grease. My call is a much far greater improvement over all. like a said, this ones a no brainer. (since I don't have a brain [all statements I've made = true] lol
also since I used a circle case I was always getting a circle dust/grease stain I was constantly cleaning every time I opened my phone. this has changed dramatically with the tempered protector. If your using a otterbox defender which has an additional screen this may cause a problem. I would go back and check for you cause I have a defender but I love my wireless charging and I love the case and I'm not going back. Some people have this case for sale on amazon for around $27. I figured I would just buy through verizon since I get a 25% discount on accessories and it is warrantied for 1 year. If I get problem I can just walk into a store and replace it that day. (I hate to wait)
cheers.

I had the same sensitivity problem with mine. Ended up taking it off after a couple weeks because it was so annoying. Mine was Verizon branded and pretty thick though.
Note, with the Otterbox Defender, it's a good idea to pop out that pre-installed screen protector. It's garbage and the case still fits on a phone with tempered glass.
Using the iCarez and a Ditztronic case, perfect match. Can't even tell it has the screen protector.

Tempered glass caused screen sensitivity issues for some people right? I like my icarez matte screen protectors.
So I had one of these put on my S7 today at BB, and there's a curve at the edge of the screen so it doesn't stick down, I thought the screen protector would relax but it has not. to top it off, after going into my pocket a few times, I've got dust/lint sticking to the edges of the screen protector. I think I might need to run without one for now and return this thing.
Anyway, I don't recommend the glass one, its nice, but it won't conform the the curve of the screen on the edges.
Zagg's website says they don't have a glass screen protector for the S7 yet. When they do it will be curved so it matches the screen. If you check they will even give you the option of having them email you when they get it in.

I bought one at Best Buy yesterday, its on my phone. I guess I need to check the box and make sure they grabbed the right one.
Please post a picture. Thanks for the info btw
Here are the pics, luckily I still have my G3 lol.
Its already collecting lint and dust from my pocket, hasn't been 24 hours.
Can confirm. Went in yesterday and they had the Zagg for $35 and the Verizon version for $30. Went with the Verizon and have the same issue where the glass won't lay flat... Might have to go plastic instead.

Wow...that sucks...$35 and still deal with it not laying right! I guess I'm glad I bought a cheapie from eBay for $4.50. It has a halo, but I can't think of not protecting the screen on this beauty. I have one of the TechMatte ones coming that's supposed to be curved to match the screen. I'll let ya know if that one is better...

I too will confirm the zagg glass ones do not fit well on the edges. I can also confirm that the zagg plastic "hdx defense" ones also do not sit 100% flat on the screen, the edges of it do not touch (but not as bad as the glass). I've had both on my S7 in the last 48 hours. I'll stick with this plastic crap for now since it covers better. But, they definitely need to fix that.

*cough* - uh - that's for the S7, not the S7 Edge, different product. Not surprised it doesn't fit correctly.
That's not even the correct screen protector. The one for the curves in called the "glass contour edge-to-edge", which you don't have because it isn't released yet.
Doesn't take a whole lot of effort to read their website before you purchase:
http://www.zagg.com/us/en_us/shop-by-device/galaxy-s7-accessories
Looks like he has the correct screen protector to me. He did say s7, not s7 edge.
Problem is, the s7's screen is also slightly curved, and so far it seems no one making these screen protectors is accounting for that. I've paid ($7 if memory serves) for BB to install glass shields before for this very reason. It's their bad if it doesn't stick properly and I'm not out the $40. I've watched them put 3-4 protectors on before, before finally getting one on right. If it doesn't work out, I wouldn't pay for it. I'd go back and get a refund. Especially if it's never going to fit correctly because Zagg released a premature product.
Seems to be a common theme for all protectors that have been released so far.

I have been back to BB every day this week since getting my phone Monday. i only got the zagg hd protector and its the same issue i pointed it out to them and they were like no they just didn't put it on right. and to top it off. IF you get the otter box commuter series case it's design is flawed in how much the front edges of the phone just enough that when put on even after the 24-48 hour drying period of protector put on it conflicts with the edging of the protector and pushes it up the fight each other. the otter box Symmetry series how ever is designed just right and meets the edge of the protector and does not push on it what so ever. be cautious of case vs screen protector.

Yeah, how stupid of me to assume the screen protector they had, which was labeled for the phone they were selling me would fit. I would have thought Zagg would have had the thing in advance to get it right.
Good grief. Try to help other people and catch hell for it.

Interesting, I went back yesterday and had them put an HD one on instead and they couldn't get it on straight and then when they tried to fix he got dirt and lint under it. After a half hour of watching the dude struggle with it I said the hell with it and returned it and am running without one right now until the correct one is ready.
Yeah, how stupid of me to assume the screen protector they had, which was labeled for the phone they were selling me would fit. I would have thought Zagg would have had the thing in advance to get it right.
Good grief. Try to help other people and catch hell for it.

Even though I have the 7 Edge, I did get the 7 for my daughter, so thanks for the heads up man. I'm sure others appreciate it as well. Cheers.
