Hey guys I have Xperia Z and Allshare on my windows 8 computer. I shared videos with allshare and home group but eitherway I couldn't watch them on my phone. How can I do that? Or can I find allshare for xperia ?

Hi
I see the sgs2 has AllShare which would appear to be able to send media to a DLNA server?
I want a box that I can stream photos/music to and it needs to play it through the TV. I was looking at the Western Digital TV Live hub media centre but then i figured an XBox360 would do the same thing and more anyone got any advice? both are below £200
Thanks
Hi !
A little backgound :
I have a Samsung SmartTV UE40 Series 6 which has DNLA and Samsung's AllShare.
I also have my Samsung Galaxy S3 (Internation, i9300, rooted and unlocked).
Both my laptop and desktop computers find my tv and can stream video and music to the TV (DLNA), no problem.
With my GS3, when in Galery or movie player I can "send" the picture/music/video to the TV, but when I launch AllShare Play the Phone doesn't fin d my TV. Same thing with allShare Control : no way to detect the TV. And, obviously, when I try to find the TV with AllShare Cast, same thing: nothing at all.
Has anybody any idea about what could be going on ?
Thanks a lot.
My question is how to stream videos with subtitles form my Xperia sola to my Bravia KDL-40EX520. I have tried via wi-fi direct but it streams only video without subs. Please, help
Hi folks,
I can't seem to get DLNA working on the Xperia Z2. Maybe I'm just stupid, but the only setting I've found for these things is "Throw" which searches for devices and only finds my TV.
I also have Sony network speakers NS510 and an OpenELEC XBMC media centre, which worked flawlessly with iPhone and AirPlay.
With the Xperia Z2 they don't show up when Throw looks for devices. I can get around the XBMC issue by using apps like XBMC constellation, Yatze etc, which allow me to "send to XBMC", but it's not integrated with music, photos and videos like the iPhone was.
The worst past however is that I cannot connect my Sony phone to my Sony speaker, because Sony app "Network Audio Remote" doesn't work on android kitkat and they haven't bothered to fix it for months.
Anyone know of a way to coax the phone to play nice with DLNA devices in the home network?
If you go in to settings if any if the Sony Media apps like Album, Walkman or Movies, it has a Media Sharing setting. Turn that on and it will start
Hi.. I tried many apps or player that can stream videos of my pc through my android phone via wifi. but none of them has an option to 'delete' a video/file.
Can you guys know some streaming app that has an option to 'delete'?
