Hello there,
I recently bought an LG p700 which had android 4.0 installed. I did some research and found out that downgrading to 2.3 would be better for performance and battery life. So I am asking you:
How can I downgrade to 2.3? I don't really know much about smartphones so a basic step to step guide would be awesome.
Thanks

Hi Guys,
Another question about rooting
I'm a newbie and am thinking of rooting my LG P500. But I'm concerned that the rooting may affect the future release of Android 2.3 for this phone. Can you guys pls clarify my doubts on this? Will rooting affect the update or will the update just overwrite the rooting to install Gingerbread?
Thanks in advnace,
Karthik

Hello dear friends,
The last days I've been looking around ways to update my android version. My phone is an LG Optimus L3 II and the software is quite old.and the update center pops up a windows saying that I'm using the latest available version , so I was wondering if there is way to change that and get kit kat or even lollipop. Does anyone have the will to guide me step -by -step. Please!!! THANK YOU ❤

Sorry, but for now there is no one who is caring for our device.
A Custom Rom Android update for this device does not exist as yet, nor Cyanogenmod or anything, LG simply abandoned this device.
Android update involves a whole process even more complicated when you need to do it from scratch.
This is my rant, already started trying to port CyanogenMod 11 most of it just does not boot.
Nobody even gave himself the pleasure or displeasure help me.

Im using your that device. and where did you find that upgrade?
I have been searching all over the internet for a guide on how to port a Kitkat Rom to my device LG E455, which is currently running JellyBean 4.1, but i couldn't find a clear guide on how to do that for my device, i tried some guides for other LG Optimus L5 II variations but none of them worked. I am kind of new to this whole porting stuff, but i am a quick learner if you just point me to the right direction. What i have done so far to my device: Root - Flashed CWM recovery - Tried some custom 4.1 Roms.
Right now i am trying to upgrade from Android 4.1 to 4.4, so can someone tell me, is this even possible? if yes please give me a brief tutorial or put some links, literally anything that could help i will appreciate it thank you.
Good evening everyone
I just got a used Xperia Z SO-03E tablet and when I tried to update the android it was stuck at Jelly Bean 4.1.2
Which is ****!!!
So now I am looking to root it but got lost in all of the threads
So any stable Stock Or Custom firmware I can depend on for rooting my device???
Any help by referring to the needed threads would be MUCH Appreciated!

Thank A lot
I tried to understand what is Docomo and what is the relevance of it for the process but couldn't understand
I have rooted few phones in my life and am not an expert but familiar with the process
I searched but I guess cuz it's an old tablet I can't find much though I love its speed and screen but it's so outdated and can't update or install many apps unless I install high stock or customer firmware
