Hey I recently installed the new boot logo xml at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340961 thru rsd lite last night....my phone was on dual boot, defaulted to rom-slot 2....but after i installed the xml, i cannot get the second slot to work.....at startup, the logo comes i choose 2nd slot to boot on BMM, and it just gets stuck on the black screen after that. However, the slot 1 boots properly. I have no backups, my only option is to get the 2nd slot working somehow.

So I got my Razr today and I succesfully Rooted it and installed Safestrap, But I can't seem to able to flash anything. (And I kinda know what i'm knowing, flashed my old Galaxy S quite often)
As I got Safestrap, I have to Enable Safe boot everytime i install a zip file but when I have flashed a rom, and try to reboot the phone, the screen just turns black or I get the Moto Dual Core logo shown, nothing else happends. I tried waiting 30 min but nothing.
So what am I doing wrong here?
Sorry for double post.
So I have a droid razr that has (Safestrap 3.73 with TWRP 2.7.0.0)
I flashed a custom rom onto it; a 4.4.4 version and it was working fine for a few days. The phone died overnight, and I charged it to full battery yesterday. After doing so it will no longer boot to the operating system.
The phone can boot to recovery, and the options can be fiddled with there, however I cannot get the phone to get past the blue logo with the spinning arrows. It will stay there indefinitely...
I do not have an external SD card for the phone, and my pc will not recognize the phone in spite of having the drivers for the phone installed before hand. I have tried to wipe/factory reset multiple times and yet it will always get stuck at the blue logo. The option for the stock rom is greyed out in the boot section, and I really need my phone to get some functionality back to it.
I do not have any other image for recovery installed on the phone, only the current rom and gapps are on the install section. I have wiped and tried to reflash but I always get the same result.
Where do I proceed from here? I am very confused and could use some help as to what to do to restore functionality... personally id prefer to go back to stock image but am having a hard time locating the us verizon factory image online, not that I can even get it onto the phone.
Hello,
i successfully installed twrp on my moto c.
I could install a few different roms, but everytime i start the first boot following happens.
I see the boot logo from the custom rom for a few minutes and then appears a black screen. In this black screen sometimes the clock bar appears, but nothing more happens. i waited about 10 minutes to an hour by each rom.
i used dalvik/cache clean after installation of rom, supersu, and gapps everytime.
i also wiped everything except storage and sd card before installing os
Can somebody plz help me.
So, yesterday my Moto G3(2013) suddenly switched off itself. After that, it would get stuck on the lineage boot animation screen. This has happened once before and that the the phone reseted itself. This time this didn't happen. So I went to twrp and backed up the system, data and boot. Then I formatted all the internal storage except the system (since I needed the os). After that when I switched on the mobile, it switched on successfully showing all that get your phone ready screen. Then I go back to twrp to install the backup but after the restore is done and I switch on the mobile, the mobile is again stuck on boot animation. Please help
Hello, I'm having a problem to install CrDroid ROM on my phone. I unlocked bootloader also the "critical" option.
I started trying to install OrangeFox but I had some weird problem, when booting from it I had random generated characters (like they were encrypted) on the "sdcard" path. So I couldn't do anything from it.
Somehow I think I messed up my "a" and "b" boot slot though.
My default active slot from the factory was "b" so I tried all that with "a" slot but had no luck.
I managed to get TWRP installed on slot "b" which boots into TWRP recovery if I press volume+ and power, and if not the phone boots to the normal android one factory ROM.
I then gone through TWRP and installed CrDroid Rom through the zip (crDroidAndroid-10.0-20200413-laurel_sprout-v6.5) and after the successful installation of the zip the phone reboots.
And slot "a" gets activated and it just shows fastboot mode.
So anyway the thing is on slot "a" the phone does nothing even with volume+ and power it just goes into fastboot mode.
If I activate slot "b" the phone works as I stated above.
I tried flashing TWRP while slot "a" is active but still won't go into recovery. Just shows fastboot
I also just realized that when booting to slot "b" on the factory rom Wifi is broken, it turns off immediately. MAC Address is changed to 02:00:00:00:00:00
edit: I flashed persist.img through fastboot (fastboot flash persist persist.img ) and didn't fix it.
Also I can't make GSM Calls. "System UI Not Responding"
Any ideas?
Should reset the phone fully at stock, so both a/b slot will be factory stock, and start over? Is there anyway to do it?
