So, yesterday my Moto G3(2013) suddenly switched off itself. After that, it would get stuck on the lineage boot animation screen. This has happened once before and that the the phone reseted itself. This time this didn't happen. So I went to twrp and backed up the system, data and boot. Then I formatted all the internal storage except the system (since I needed the os). After that when I switched on the mobile, it switched on successfully showing all that get your phone ready screen. Then I go back to twrp to install the backup but after the restore is done and I switch on the mobile, the mobile is again stuck on boot animation. Please help

i got an alcatel ot908 3 days ago, i installed clockworldmod recovery and after rooting it, i backed up so i can flash a rom but this didn't worked, rom wasn't working as thephone stucked on the boot screen saying "alcatel one touch" and nothing was happening... so i restrored the backup i had made and everything was fine, yesterday i installed a lot of stuff and i wanted to reset factorysetting so i shutted down the phone and went into recovery screen, i wiped everything but since then the phone stucksagain on the boot screen, tried reseting again to factory settings but nothing, i also wiped cache and other stuff but still won't boot. I tried to restore the backup i already had, the same that i used to restore when i had problem with the rom but it didn't worked. Now for some reason it doesn't even reach the alcatel boot screen, it just shows the android icon and then stucks with a black sccreen and the buttonsenlightened
what do i have to do to get it work again?
i had my amaze repaired (power IC, bad data cable caused it to not charge or even boot up or go in bootloader). Now within 30 seconds off booting up it used to restart. and i cant get into the recovery( shows logo and powers off when going into recovery from bootloader). i cleared the cache from bootloader and its now stuck at boot animation( not boot logo) and wont boot completely. before clearing cache after logo it used to show 4ext recovery boot screen then screen off, now it just shows logo and screen off. really need help i got this phone fixed after 1 year. im s-off and running any 4.4.4 rom (dont remember which rom, i think pacman rom)
so basically i can get into bootloader and use fastboot commands (no adb, authorized device). cant do anything else on the phone. is there a way to fix the phone?

reflashed recovery for the 4th time and it worked. it said the cache partition is corrupt. formatted it. phone works now. updating apps caused system ui stopped working error. going to flash other roms.

Glad you got your phone working--your persistence paid off.
Be sure to make a backup before flashing other ROM's.
My Yota3 (128gb) stuck on boot logo after i did normal reboot.
I never did any rooting, flashing etc. On this phone and was using it just by installing google apk's.
I restarted my phone normally and it got stuck on boot logo and now it is not getting fully switch on.
im able to get into fastboot and recovery but in recovery mode only one Chinese word appears with android bot lying down.
Can any one help me how to go beyond that start YOTA logo?
Is there anything i can do with Fastboot to clear catch or dalvink catch, i think by clearing that phone will be able to boot fully.
If there is way to boot fully by some how Factory resetting the phone the how to do that and before doing reset can i take backup of media of internal storage?
Hello all, I am having some issues after attempting to root my Razer Phone 2. The root failed but I initially had TWRP installed, and afterwards I tried to flash the factory image. This is where things started getting strange; I flashed the factory image and it seemed to run, but then I got a TWRP screen come up that said it was attempting to uninstall something, but that failed. It then went back to the initial boot screen, and then looped between the boot screen and the TWRP screen a few times after which it just resided on the boot screen. I initially was unable to get the bootloader to come back up on the phone but found it was still running in the background and I could interact with it via my PC. I have tried a few more times to flash the factory image but to no avail. I am still in the loop and I am not sure if there is anything that can be done.
Hello,
short background story:
I have a KIW-L21 which is running Android 7.0.1 Resurrection Remix CustomROM. Recently, my battery and power button died, so when I plugged in the phone to charge it, it would immediately power-cycle (button defective and constrantly forced the phone to reboot).
I got both replaced by now, but the phone does not boot anymore (I guess due to the continuous power-cycling maybe some files got corrupted). It will show up the initial RR logo and then the boot animation, but it will not get past that anymore. I haven't flashed or changed anything on the phone for ages.
Bootloader is unlocked and TWRP 3.4.0-0 is installed. I can access the bootloader, TWRP and even the eRecovery by physical button combinations.
Before loading a backup, I'd like to know if there's anything I can try in order to get the phone back running (something similar to chdsk on Windows or the like )?
dmesg.log and recovery.log attached, in case this is of any use. What I can see is that the time and date is totally ****ed up, I highly doubt this would prevent the phone from booting though.....
If nothing else helps and I have to restore a backup, which partitions exactly should I restore? Only boot, data and system as described on the TWRP FAQ? Does it really hurt if I restore further partitions? After all, they're created using TWRP on my own phone, not downloaded somewhere.
Thanks in advance
