Hey guys, before i start i like to say that i searched the forum at least 2 hour and other sites as well. My problem is;
my phone (Xperia Neo V) got stuck in bootloop when i was refreshing the mails in gmail app and it asked me to refresh automatically and i said yes after i said res it got stuck.
I tried to enter the recovery with volume buttons and home key and tapping the screen it didn't work. My phone was rooted and i was using a custom 4.0.4 rom (Unfortunately i didnt remember the name of the rom since i was using it over a year with no problem).
I also tried flashtool and sus from sony website both of them didn't recognise my phone when i plugged in the computer. Even my computer doesn't recognize my phone at all.
So here i am helpless, seeking for a help?
Is fastboot or flashmode working? If fastboot working, flash any other custom ics kernel like suave and flash the rom again.. It has custom recovery.. If flashmode working, flash stock ftf using flashtool.. You will lose root but your phone will boot up for sure..
Regards,
vishal_android freak
1)Just download the .ftf file
2)Install drivers from flashtool>drivers folder, during installation don't forget to tick flashboot option
3)move the .ftf file to firmware folder of flashtool
4)start flashtool and turn on mobile and connect with USB
5)click on bolt sign and go flash boot, disconnect mobile and connect in flshboot mode(holding back button put in USB)
6)it will flash it self, done... If I helped u please give me thanks

Try installing the flash tool again, and make sure you install the driver package in driver folder under flashtool directory. Also while installing the driver package make sure you select your phone model number and also select the fastboot and flashmode drivers
That is what I exactly do..
As I'm using flashtool and do moding from last 8-9 months, So I guess I do every step properly.. btw any other advice??
Go to device manager, uninstall pre-existing drivers named Android ADB Device etc and then try.

Not solved
Try everything but nothing worked!!!
lastly flashed GB firmware n problem solved!!
bt start again when flashed stock ics
bump!!
Yup follow the steps ..
1) Install SEUS or PCC
2) Let it detect your device , once that is done then disconnect device.
3) Install latest Flash tool & reboot desktop and ur phone..
4) Switch on ur device and switch on Debugging mode on & let flashtool detect ur device...
5) If it doesn't reinstall the drivers from the below path C://Flashtool//drivers//drivers.exe
Run .exe file
6) A window will pop up for your device selection and choice of which drivers to install choose fastboot ,flash mode,Xperia Sola
7) Accept all window permissions that windows will ask you for installing drivers manually... this will take time like 8-10min
8) Once done reboot device and Desktop
Try connecting in fast boot or flash mode ... your device will be detected Enjoi
Cheers!!!

Hello,
I rooted my mobile way back in b.1.10. Yesterday I flashed indian firmware of b.1.54 & somehow my mobile had no root permissions any more. But the bootloader is still unlocked as I've checked. I want root permissions & I've found out that rooting is only possible if I downgraded to b.1.10 firmware.
Now am unable to install flashmode drivers. It did not ask me for these drivers yesterday when I flashed b.1.54.
How do I install them? Whenever i prepare flashtool for b.1.10.ftf to flash & switch off, connect my mobile in flashmode, it stays in flashmode for 3 seconds & skips into regular mode & there's an error message in flashtool.
How to install flashmode drivers?
Please help
Thanks

Ok, here's the deal...
I'm trying to root my phone using a tutorial, so I have to flash .10 and .54 kernels.
When I connect the phone to the PC the Flashtool log says that the Debugging mode is off while, but IT'S ACTIVATED AT DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
So I can't continue...
PS: Flashtool drivers installed, Android ADB drivers installed
Sony PC Companion installed.
Have a Sony Xperia Sola MT27i, Windows XP SP3 and the last version of Flashtool.
Please help!

In order to flash the kernels u need not have to enable usb debugging
So here what u should do
Switch off phone
Keep it aside
Select kernel.ftf to flash in flashtool
Flashtool will ask u to connect phone in flashmode
Just press the volume down button (phone should b pff) of ur phone pressed and attach to usb
Try to restart Flashtool with your device already plugged in with USB Debugging on.
Sometimes happen with me. I just restart Flashtool and it detects it.
Thank you both, but if I connect the phone while holding volume down button can recognize the device?

good evening, i need some helps about the flastool using usb debug....
last night i intended to flash my a690 using another firmware that is s319. my reason was about to upgrade it to ics.
then i follow the instructions for flashing a690 using flashtool. it was succeed, i turn on the phone.... so the problem appeared, my phone can't login, even bootloop just in blank screen.
then i decided to back it firmware to stock rooom using flastool again.....and this information of error appeared.
i tried almost 3 hours by using another firmware but it wasn't succeed. i thought the error appeared because of the usb debug didn't click it.
so if there is anyone knew about this issued, please help me what should i do??
the first mistake that i had made so far was using another firmware fo my lenovo.

Hi all, if anyone is having trouble flashing with flash tool because usb debugging isn't enabled error then do this procedure.......
1. Dowload latest flash tool 0.9.18.8 and also version 0.6.6
2. Try use the latest version first to Flash the tft rom. NOTE: remember the file it has error flashing e.g on my experia sp file system.sin was not able to Flash bcoz usb debugging error (enable usb debugging and unknown sources) ALL THE REST of the files flashed ok!
3.try flash again the rom but this time tick system.sin (or error file) in flashtool to exclude it from flashing. Make sure all other files are included. Also tick all wipe caches options and flash rom without system.sin (or error file).
4. Flash procedure will work. Now disconnect phone and leave it off without restarting it.
5. Uninstall flashtool latest version 0.9.18.8 and install flashtool 0.6.6 old version and open it to Flash the same rom BUT THIS TIME only select the system.sin file (or error file) to be flashed and rest excluded. Make sure all wipe options in flashtool are enabled and Flash! THE FLASH WILL WORK WITHOUT USB DEBUGGING ERROR and your phone will be fixed!
Press thanks if it helped!

You should download and install the latest version of Flashtool and it's drivers, connect your phone in Flashmode and then relock the bootloader.
Alternatively, you could just flash a stock FTF in Flashtool and fix whatever is wrong with your phone.
