I noticed that when you set a security lock for the phone, you can no longer choose shortcuts to apps on the lock screen like you can with no security features enabled.
Anyone know if this is even an option? I used this all the time on my galaxy s3. Now if insecure my phone with a pasword, I don't have the shortcuts

Hello,
I just received mu Galaxy S 2, and I set up my corporate exchange account, which forces me to have a security code lock.
Before that I had the lock screen with notifications (if you get a sms or a call...) and now I only have the security code lock screen.
I would like to get the lock screen back (even If I have to go through the security lock after that). Is that possible?
I have a standard ROM, using Go Launcher EX.

I'm running CM 7.2, I have a pattern lock on, under CyanogenMod settings >> Lockscreen >> Unlock Options I have Skip on Security enabled, and finally, I'm using Widget Locker.
With that out of the way, I was wondering if it was possible to have a camera shortcut with Widget Locker that allows me to use the camera without having to input the pattern lock beforehand. Every time I drag to the camera I'm prompted with the pattern unlock, which is annoying. Is there a way to have the camera be unaffected by the lock? I'm even willing to build CM 7.2 with changes to the source code, although if there is an easier way, I'd be very grateful.

I use an app called "app protector pro" and it works great. It allows you to select each app to lock individually.

Ive recently changed my unlock setting from swiping to entering a pattern in to unlock but have found this has disabled me from pulling down the notification bar when on lock screen, is this normal?

Yes it is normal. Once you have a secure lock screen it disables the notification pulldown.
It would not be secure if you could change settings on the phone etc. When you have a pin/pattern set.
It's a standard function of the android os

I've tried different ROMs and I have come back to one backup and I have not had any issues until now my shortcuts are no longer showing up on the lock screen with the swipe option. Do anyone know how I can get those shortcuts back on my lock screen?
On another point, I like the calendar and shortcuts on the swipe lock screen. Is there an app, apk, or mod that I can install to allow me to get the swipe lock screen and a pattern or password lock screen behind it. Thanks.

Is there a way to enable lock screen widgets with a patter lock,not only the swipe lock
settings - lock screen - lock screen type - choose from there ...
from 4.3 onwards, if u have any type of password, u will not have lockscreen widgets or shortcuts. Security reasons.
