[Q] Color calibration - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, is there an app I can use to calibrate the color? like on the nexus 4?
I'm getting a strong yellow tint.

Stweaks can do this but you need the right kernel to work it. Googy Max kernel is a good one for both stock and custom rom. Have a read about googy.

[Q] find voodoo color kernel

For me "Simply Stock JVT 2.3.5" is the perfect rom.
but I am always with talon kernel for their compatibility with voodoo Color Control but without gps support.
I wonder if there is a kernel for GB like Bullet with gps, but that includes compatibility with voodoo color control app.
or someway to activate the color options on voodoo control app with bullet kernel??
+1 would like to see more kernels with color control. I feel it is essential, as colors seem washed out and dull with out it.

[Q] color saturation in speedmod kernel

Hey guys,
I'm currently using the latest stock rom (XXKL1) on my device.
I've just decided to flash the speedmod kernel which worked great so far.
But for some odd reasons the color saturation tweak doesn't seem to work on my device. I notice the same color saturation as with the stock kernel. I've already switched the screen mode to movie and back, but nothing changed. The oversaturated colors remain.
Any help?

[Q] Brightness issue from Galaxy s2 white version

Hello,
I'm currently using thos ROM & Kernel :
ROM : Exynos v7.1.2
Kernel : 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #7
And I'm wondering why when I use switch to another kernel (speedmod, SiyahKernel etc), the brightness is completly wrong ?
The screen is really darker.
This behaviour also happens when I swith to the last version of the Exynos's rom.
So, I would like to know if the "white" people user also encountered this behaviour?
what you mean? maybe the kernel modify the brightness for battery saving..
if you don't like, you can download brightness widget or set it back manually on your preferred brightness
I'd try to increase the brightness but colours are not the same.
I have feeling that there is something like a filter.

Does Bad Boyz Sprint Rom allow Kcal Colour calibrations?

Hello my friends, i just got a Sprint M9 and would like to know if BadBoyz Sprint M9 rom allows Kcal Colour calibration? or do i need to install an aditional kernel for it to work? I love the M9, but hate the default color calibration of the screen and found that the Kcal Calibration is absolutely essential for this phone (i used it with Leedroid M9 rom on an ATT version). Thanks in advance for the information!

If you mean like color temperature adjustment then yes. In Settings under display, gestures & buttons. It is just a slider for warmer or colder. I leave it default though as I see nothing wrong with the stock color temperature setting.
Nope that's not what I mean, it's an app to change color calibration, rgb values and it vastly improves the quality of the M9 screen. It's called Kcal color calibration. You can Download the app for it, but your kernel must support it.

I think some custom kernel have option for screen setting where you can set color value (use Kernel Adiutor to do it). I used to set it for older device G2/Htc M8 set color value as: 255/245/256 with Saturation value 52. I have not try with Le Max 2 as I usually use stock rom.
