Can you pls tell me in brief may i can help you as i have faced similar issue but retrieved my mobile back fine working

I've not heard any case of bricking with A116 so far. Try to flash stock rom using SP tool. Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.

i first wiped data, partitions and dalvik cache after that went on to install from sd card. i placed the zip file in external sd card so i choose the location from where to retrieve. then its says installation started and it was in progress everything goes as it should be, after that it says rom installed enjoy! so, i click on go back and reboot it.. after that my fone is not switching on.. when i put on charge nothing happening, i removed the battery then again inserted still nothing happens

Try this
1. check if you are able to get back to your recovery mode. If it goes cool then flash any other ROM made for canvas A116 HD only. If you dont have download it first and paste in your memory card. you can access your memory card from recovery mode from advance --> mount option. This can be done only if you are able to access your recovery mode by pressing volume up+down and Lock keys together. Keep pressing for more time till you go in recovery mode
2. If you are unable to go to recovery then simply flash the stock rom 4.2 via SP flash tool by removing battery (Pls search for SP Flash tool method in XDA Canvas HD section)
Pls revert if you are able to do any of these..
Press Thanks If I Helped You...........

Guys "Suvi ROM" is for A110 Canvas 2 not for A116 Canvas HD !! Now if u have flashed the wrong ROM.... Try to flash the '"correct'" Stock ROM of A116 via SP Flash Tools !!

Try fix permission, you can user ROM manager or titanium back up, if that doesn't work then reflash the entire Rom.

I assume that the backup was taken earlier using CWM recovery and now you are trying to restore the same, try complete wipe and then restore, if it doesn't work then re install a fresh ROM.

Yes it should solve the issue, try flashing the tool VIA SP Flash Tool. here is the link to download stock rom provided by Micromax
http://www.moulnisky.com/index.php?dir=Micromax/A116/Software version/V3_270513(Jelly bean 4.2)/
You will lose all your data, try it at your own risk, i am not responsible if your phone bricks, if you are not comfortable go to the service station and get it flashed.

Ok i think since cwm not yet officially released for our device ROM manager is saying so.
If you want to install CWM only from ROM manager i cant help but if you just want to install CWM through even other ways i can help you.
You can install CWM with mobile uncle tools.
This is a forum thread on how to root + install cwm .

Nothing Will Happen And If U Do A Install Then U Can Brick Ur Mobile So Its Better U Install It VIa Mobile Uncle Tool
Mobile Uncle Tool - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileuncle.toolbox&hl=en
CWM - http://d-h.st/qVI
Now how to install CWM recovery?
1) Place the CWM image in the root of your sd card. Now what is Root , root layer is the top most layer. That is just open the SD card and place it there itself do not place it inside a folder or sub folder only then mobile uncle tool can recognize it.
2) Install mobile uncle tools.
3) Open Mobile uncle tools and select the option Recovery update.
Now you'll see the file you placed in your sd card ,now click it and then click ok. Now it will ask "boot into recovery mode" click yes and now you are in CWM recovery!
Note: If you have connected to internet while doing this you may get loads of other options after clicking recovery update don't worry just click the one you placed in sd card. verify the name twice.

Install VCOM drivers , google usb drivers & mt65xx preloader drivers on your pc and then flash it using YDGP tools thn follow the steps.
Install YGDP tools.
Click config and click "select CPB file"
Then select the firmware file which will be in .CPB format.
Wait for 5 mins because the software will verify the cpb file.
Now turn off your phone and REMOVE THE BATTERY.
Click "Start" button in YGDP tools
Then connect the phone to the computer. (Do not insert the battery !!!!!!)
You will see that the flashing will start. DO NOT DO ANYTHING till it finishes.

Boot loop, mmx logo, recovery logo and restart

I have TWRP in my A310. Flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/a310/development/resurrection-remix-lp-5-5-t3160496 this rom, dunno which version TWRP I have, so now phone is not starting up.
Any help will be appreciated, Guys I don't want to take my phone to Service center ppl. They are horrible.
Phone is turning on, trying to boot - failing - restarting - trying to enter recovery as a TWRP logo shows up then screen flickers and nothing happens and this keeps going on. TWRP also tries to open MTP but that fails too.
Dosen't stay in Bootloader - fastboot as well, restarts.

Try YGDP and flash stock and then restore the backup if available.
When you flash the stock rom it will repalce the twrp also. We can easily install twrp through ygdp. Follow the steps.
1. Select your .cpb file and apply
2. YGDP will unzip the cpb file, path may be C:\YLXZGJ\YGDP\DownFiles\8297W (in my system this is the path, please check after unzipping)
3. Check the unzipped folder contents
4. There will be a file named recovery.img
5. Delete the recovery.img file
6. Copy your twrp recovery to the unzipped folder and rename it to recovery.img
7. Click on start button
8. Remove battery from your phone and connect it to the usb
9. It will detect your phone and start flashing
10. Wait for flashing finishes to 100 %
11. Done. Disconnect phone. You flashed stock rom with twrp recovery
12. Copy the backup to memory card and insert it in phone
12. Insert battery and press power button and volume up key, go to twrp recovery, restore your backup and enjoy

Dosen't stay in Bootloader - fastboot as well, restarts.

i had faced same problem ..
but stay calm .. just download ypdp flash tool .. download stock rom and flash it using ypdp tool ... remember while flashing remove the battery otherwise it will not detect the phone , as my was not detected .. but as soon i removed the battery , it flashed the rom in couple of minutes . and after flashing remember to flash a custom rom as the stock rom gets corrupted causing these issues .. installed darkeness redefined rom and it is woking extremely fast , best rom in my opinion . choise is upon you ,
Hope my message helped you , for any more questions do ask.
