[Q] Help me get back to T-Mobile stock everything - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Hey Guys,
I purchased a phone from a friend that had the Google Play Edition ROM flashed on this Nexus One for T-Mobile USA. After re-locking the bootloader, I used the "RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_TMOUS_1.27.531.11_Radio_4A.17.3250.20_10.40.1150.04_release_324846_signed_2.exe" file, which seemed like it was working, but failed 1/2 way in the middle. Now when I HBOOT the phone, it states TAMPERED and RELOCKED at the top w/ the following info below:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.54.0000
RADIO-4A.18.3263.15
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-3.06.1700.10
eMMC-boot 2048MB
Aug 1 2013,18:48:48.0
In addition, I have also tried running the "fastboot flash zip RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_TMOUS_1.27.531.11_Radio_4A.17.3250.20_10.40.1150.04_release_324846_signed_2.zip" command and I got the following:
target reported max download size of 1526722560 bytes
sending 'zip' (1065710 KB)...
OKAY [ 45.808s]
writing 'zip'...
(bootloader) signature checking...
FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 155.867s
Would anyone be willing to help me figure out how to get this phone back to the stock tmobile ROM/Recovery/etc? Thanks in advance!

Well considering that you are s-on and have the 1.54 hboot, I think you may be stuck.

Really? There is no way around this in any regard? Have people had any success with swapping the phone at t-mobile?

I'm not going to tell you it can't be done, but with regards to a way via xda, it can't.

I see, thank you for the input. Are there any other custom ROMs that I could use? As of right now the phone boots straight to FastBoot. Sorry, a bit noob at this stuff.

You can flash any rom that is in the international forum. And nothing that is sprint or Verizon.

Downgrade to 4.1.2
It took some work, but I had a similar situation where I bought a HTC One with GE flashed, S-ON, HBOOT 1.54 and was able to successfully downgrade to 4.1.2 in order to get S-OFF.
Just do a Google search for HTC One Downgrade and I believe there is a RUU out there that will do it. Then just follow the instructions to get S-OFF.
Good luck.

ALso, if you find it...Please share the link. I have 1.54 and want to go back to total stock to get a warranty issue resolved.

the moderators will remove the link or close the thread.
I too had a TMO with .11 and with that version the S-Off exploit was fixed. I found several threads that were closed and / or removed when looking for a downgrade option.
But doing a google search i was able to find what i was looking for. I never did find out why it was in violation of posting rules.

The reason it was in violation is because the user who created the downgrade is a banned user.

Unlock Bootloader Error

I followed the steps from HTCDev.com to unlock the bootloader on my phone. I got to the part where it said type "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" which i did and got these results
C:\android>fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.156s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
(bootloader) unlock token check successfully
OKAY [ 0.010s]

All appears to be similar as to what it said on HTC's website, but I never did see a unlock window show up like the site said. Am I doing something wrong?

Read through this thread and you will find your answer.
I was reluctant to respond to your thread because this was already answered in the same forum just a few days ago and you "bumped" your own thread, which is frowned upon, in less than 3 hours. Please search the forums more carefully next time and try the Q&A forum if you have questions or are trying to solve problems since this forum is supposed to be for general discussions of things related to the Evo 3D.

I was trying a regular root but my phone was stock n was updated to 3.16 OTA. I don't think there's a official root for it now cause I've been seeing it disables the touchscreen for recovery

Evo 3D RUU Issues

Hello XDA, i've been a long time lurker due to flashing my evo 4g and swapping roms on it constantly.
I have recently purchased an CDMA EVO 3D and was attempting to get S-OFF i started off by re locking my phone but i can't get past the ROM Update Utility, i believe it's because my image version is too up to date?
My bootloader is
*** RELOCKED ***
SHOOTER XC SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.58.0000
eMMC-boot
The current Image version is 2.95.651.5 is there anything i can do to continue with getting Revolutionary S-OFF on my phone? or am i practically stuck here?
Thank you in advance for all your help, it is very much appreciated.

Just a heads up that you won't be able to flash the 2.89.651.2 RUU with the March OTA installed without downgrading your main version (mainver). I can give you instructions to do that if necessary but I suggest trying that guide first starting with Step2, or if you are already rooted Step3.
Good luck!
ramjet73
Just got off work and i'm gonna sit down and give this a try, thank you guys i'll let you know how it goes.
I've been stuck at the HTC logo... I still have access to recovery hboot 1.58 but it keeps saying in fastboot mode no image found???
How can I just flash anything at this point? Please help

Sorry, we can't help people that use iPad's in this forum.
j/k
But seriously, you kind of hijacked the OP's thread so you might be better off starting your own or at least providing a little more information like what ROM you are using, have you installed the March OTA, do you have a custom recovery installed, are you S-ON or S-OFF. That would be a good start anyway.
ramjet73
I cannot thank you guys enough, i'm S-OFF now and everything seems to be good. Again thank you two so much.

How will these methods work with monarubo s-off? My DNA is a dev phone like the op has. If this method would work I would use one of those methods. But I don't see my soft method. I used those on my other DNA, just wanted to make sure one of those methods would work without borking my phone.
