Hey guys,
i got fed up with my nexus' standard lockscreen, so i tried out the GoLocker. But everytime i lock the device and unlock it again, it shows the homescreen for like 1 second and then the actual lockscreen.
Anyone knows how to solve this?

Hi,
I've tried serveral lockscreen now, most off them work fine, but after disabling the lock, the stock htc lock appears. So i always end up with 2 lockscreens .
Does anybody have an solution for this ??

have you root your phone? And flash custom rom?
Try Lockbot Pro and make sure to replace the original lock...its a check box in Lockbot settings..then it should be good to go...
It's Android system 5 second rule that makes you see both your lockscreen. The rule is android prevents any app activity for 5 when unlocked/initialisation, therefore any third party lockscreen will have to wait to kick in.
In widget locker you can bypass this rule by turning on home helper option in behaviour and tick 5 sec bypass in advance.

Galaxy Tab 10.1, ADW EX launcher:
using "desktop visualizer" to make custom icons I can see the icons update very slow/lag on screen rotate (also when turning the screen on).
Anyone have a solution for this, or other app to make custom icons on the desktop?
Anyone?

I locked my screen so it doesn't rotate, only my browser and apps rotate. Not really a solution but at least my tab never looks messed up.

Hi guys and girls.
My girlfriend bought a SG2, ans she loves it.
She came from an iPhone and is kind of used with the shortcuts on the lock screen.
What I know, you can't add Widgets AND have a security lock on the phone.
She wants to have shortcuts to camera and music controls on the lock screen.
So my question is: Is there any apps to do this? Or do I have to root her phone? (Witch I'm going to when I have the time to read up. Got a HTC my self) And when I root her phone, what is the best rom? She wants a phone that works, nothing special. ( I'm thinking ICS )

You can buy Widget Locker from the market, but you need to be rooted.

Also some Roms allow you to add widgets/Music controls to the lockscreen.
Doesn't really work, she needs the security lock. (Pattern) thanks for the reply though.

Check in settings and you can set up your phone to have a pin or different lockscreen
Sent from my ICS blood mode S2
You can set up pattern lock or password and still use widget locker.
Thanks for the reply guys. I look into it

Hey Guys
I had a taught and wonder if anyone could give me some information.
Before my Galaxy S2 I had a HTC Desire and I remember that when you woke the phone you were greeted by the Lockscreen and then the pattern lock.
However when you have pattern lock enabled on the Galaxy S2 it just goes straight to pattern lock.
I was wondering if there was anyway to have both on S2. Its nothing major that I need but I liked this feature on the Desire and was wondering if it is something thats possible on the S2
Cheers

hi, u could try using a lockscreen alternative, i use lockview lockscreen the now, and that gives me the lockscreen, then when i slide to unlock, it gives me the screen to put in the pattern unlock screen, am sure things like go locker and magic locker would work the same, just make sure u select the show when secure box in settings. then you will have a lockscreen and pattern unlock. hope this helped

Try going to your lock screen settings and changing your lock to swipe.

Or set the lockscreen style in system settings to "none" even.

Right.
Go to settings>screen lock and set screen lock to none.
But I want there to be some type of security to get into phone. Or is this not possible

If you disable the lock screen in settings and then use the widget lock, i think you will just have one lock screen.
