Don't know if you guys have tried these moga things? I got a Moga pocket today. .. first time I've seen one. What a cool little gizmo, it transforms gameplay and works really well on the note 3. The only down side is it doesn't work with every game, I'd say about 60% of the games I had installed worked. Even so, very much worth the 28 pounds I paid for it.

You have a link for it? Oh that. Never mind...
I ordered the Moga Pro. It is not as pocketable, but it is closer to a real controller.
Unfortunately I live in Bulgaria and I ordered from UK and now I will have to wait for up to 10 days until it comes.
By my standard it is quite expensive, but I found that you can use it with Windows PC with a program called ZeeMouse. I will throw the link here.
I got the moga pocket and it simply refuses to pair with my HTC inspire even with the pivot app. And the funny thing is it worked yesterday. Any pointers?

Thanks for the heads up. Gonna give it a try.

why can't we get asphalt 6? I'm sure it will eventually be compatible and I bet it would look beautiful on the 720p I just wanna buy it at .10c for later support!!! LOL
and to add to the original post, I got swiftkey as a free app of the day on amazon a few months back. That keyboard is the reason I was able to finally leave my D1 and hard keyboard behind

Need For Speed Shift doesn't work either which really pisses me off as it is my favorite game (& I paid for it). I used to play it all the time in my Droid Charge and it looked totally awesome on that screen.........

Just a quick note: There's a big sale on Android games in the app store including heavy hitters like Dead Space, Shadowgun and Need for Speed - all for .49 cents!
Great list building at Android Central - http://www.androidcentral.com/bunch-apps-sale-today-49-cents
Definitely a nice opp to load your new Note up on games and show off what you can do with the gorgeous screen.
Here is the link for all the apps on sale:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/collection/promotion_2012_03_06_AppsFavorites
Thanks for the link. I have most of these games on iOS and this is better than playing full price for the same game
Awesome, thanks OP. I love catching these sales on apps, especially when there are ones that little ones will like such as the TRex one.
And I just bought shadow gun yesterday!
Ahh well

Anywhere between 99 cents and up on some of them. The link I provided above takes you to the exact page in the market that lists all ups selling for this price.
Best couple bucks I've spent in a long time.
Thanks OP. Almost makes me mad to look at because I've spent close to $15 on this list in the past two weeks. Still found two to snag, though

This sale is awesome. Just in time for all us new Note owners. Bought Dead Space, mSecure, Pocket League Story and Where's My Water. Already had Osmos and World of Goo from the Humble Bundle.
Edit: Even bought the .25 cent book. Read the sample and it was ok.
I bought almost all of the apps. My CC company called to make sure they weren't fraudulent charges...

I think its NOVA 2, although now if you update your market app to the Play app you can see them all on the front page.
Glad some people found it helpful. The sale is going on for 7 days and includes movies, books and music so keep checking.

It's not showing on my Note but it started showing for on the website for me. It seems like it was added after the first batch of games.
Only apps compatible with the note will show up in the market on the note. NOVA 2 and Asphalt 6 and some other games dont work on the note
Finally found one in my local Walmart, Massapequa NY if anyone is interested, but it was a 32gb, not the one I could easily afford right now. Had I not bought the Note 2, this would be a different thread. So damn close. My major concern is that it would be to heavy and/or big to be comfortable. Of course I couldn't open the box to get a better idea either. So frustrating.

For what it's worth, I find it really comfortable to hold. I have average-sized hands and, admittedly, not the strongest wrists. I don't find it too heavy at all--marginally lighter than the iPad (3rd Gen) that I used to own. Fits in my hand nicely, and the tacky rubber housing helps. This is for both portrait and landscape.
It does look humongous in portrait mode, though, but easy to hold nonetheless.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I probably would have grabbed the 16gb and smooth talked my girl, but $499+ right now... Probably wouldn't have gone over so well. My Big concern is will I use the damn thing? I just want one so damn bad though!!

it's amazing and useful.
Very useful.
I get more reading done and efficiently on the Nexus 10 than I do with the actual textbooks. Not sure why I still buy the textbooks when I have the digital/ off copies though...

Almost every Staples I've been in that sells tablets has a display model of the nexus 10. Could always go in one of those and poke at it with it in your hand to see if you like it!
I didnt know that, I damn. I have to go check it out. Thanks.

Anyone by any chance get to play with one yet?
I've been wondering if we will be able to customize what the buttons do or switch between profiles while using it.
My *ONLY* reservation about it is that it seems like a lot of the games it would work best for would be the ones that need it the least. I really like the thought put into the project though. The beeper for keys, left handed support, small size, multi use cover for it is all really well thought out IMO.
Part of why I kinda want one is that outside of games, I could actively use it to control my phone while in the car instead of looking at the screen. I just question how well emulators will work for it after seeing it advertised to work well with them.

Given that this thing Just came out, no one has any idea.
I can confirm that the Moga contoller works with the LGOG though, for what that's worth. The Moga Universal Driver does all the things you want, so I'm sure it's possible for this other controllers; it's just a matter of whether or not someone writes a driver.
I really considered the moga but the needing batteries kinda put a kink in my plan.
I really like the keychain design of the impulse though.
I'd consider the steel series if it were 40$ cheaper.

I've considered doing that but, I really want something more pocketable to bring around town.
Ps3 controllers are pretty big in size and not really meant to be thrown in a pocket. I'd be worried about damaging it unintentionally.
I have mine. As a media remote, it works.
As a game controller, I haven't gotten it to work on my Nexus 7. The devs are going to release a firmware that should have an android gamepad IME.
Has anyone else gotten theirs? If so, any luck with Retroarch, or anything at all without having to use GameKeyboard?
Hey guys,

I can get it locally for USD 128 new in hong kong, it's nothing surprising as the gear 2, neo and fit has been released, they need to get rid of the old stock, if it was water resistant it would of been a good accessory.
I got it for 80$ in ny

Yeah, I've been holding out until the Android Wear watches come out, but I've wondered how a wearable would be for a while. I'll just wait out the LG/Moto watches then. Can't be that far away.
Few days ago in France, the first Galaxy Gear was available for only 1€ in lot of stores : you paid 101 €, and you got 100 € refund by Samsung.
I really think this device does not deserve to be paid more. I prefer my Pebble Steel from any point of view.
Got one in a McDonald's happy meal. Lol
If they get cheap enough, I'm sure you could use it for something other than a watch. I'd strap one on my steering wheel for music control.
Not that it's cheap, but I had to post this link because this thing looks awesome!
