P768 Camera problem after going back to stock Rom - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

After some searching i found a way here to unlock bootloader and install CM 10.1
But after a while I wanted to go back to stock so i did a system wipe and offline flash of stock v20a rom
But now my camera is not working as it should. The view finder is dark and the images i take are low res.
Tried hard reseting with no luck
The unlooking was done after i flashed a p760 rom.
Plz help i dont wnt to brick the phone's camera its a new one
I dont think i can send it to warranty after i rooted it and unlocked then went back to stock rom unrooted

i think you will have to do a hard reset :
(Factory reset)
1 Turn the phone off.
2 Press and hold the following keys at the same time for 8 seconds: Volume Down Key + Home Key + Power/Lock Key .
3 Your device will perform a factory reset and reboot.

Thanks for the response.
I did a hard reset couple of times with no luck.
Does it make a difference if i flashed V10A instead of V20A or maybe V20B
They are differenet in size too
With V20A (which i flashed) at 592 mbs
And V10B at 492 mbs ?
So what is the difference here ?

maybe you can try flash v10A (ics) , hard reset in this rom and then flash your stock v20A ,

I don't think that patch will help. It only replace you camera firmware with P768 files which you already have on your phone. As I replay in other thread, try to test your camera or hardware in LG hidden menu. Maybe it will give you more information about your problem. Dial 3845#*768#

Thanks for the help so far
But i did tried the hidden menu i didn't know what was supposed to happen.
The camera test just took a picture and i have to decide if its fail or pass, and on both, nothing seems to happen
I tried the full HD vids and its a bit dark too i have to increase the brightness a bit to have a better colors.
Should i just give up on it ?

It's seem like a hardware problem to me. Maybe you could try your luck with LG service center.

Thanks for the help guys.
I got my friend's Galaxy s3 and did some photo comparsion and i think its not that of an issue. Some times it a bit dark but thats what flashes are for.

[HELP] Touchscreen not working-SOLUTION FOUND!!

I recently flashed a CM9 based rom on my Xperia Sola, but after flashing its touchscreen stopped working, don't know why?I tried flashing .54 ftf via flashtool,it installed perfectly but it didn't make touchscreen respond. Then i tried it repairing through SUS but to no avail.Does anybody here know what would've gone wrong because i haven't flashed any custom kernel on it(yep locked bootloader) and i don't think that a rom can damage hardware(i know 'cause i have been porting CM9 based roms on my sola and they worked perfectly without any flaw). Is it the calibration problem or something?Don't know what should i do now.....
(Don't know why i went with Sony even when i knew deep in my heart that i would regret:silly

Yes the different device ftf may cause touchscreen fault due to driver mismatching/wrong kernel, but i was using Sola's ftf so that is ruled out.Although you are right that something different is corrupting the screen 'cause Xperia Mini had the same problem that was related to some rom flashing.
Or may be,the flashtool doesn't format all the partitions of the phone and there are some hardware files still lurking somewhere in the one of the partition thats causing the problem, but its just my guess.
I thought that only wrong kernel can cause hardware failure, didn't knew that a simple rom flash can do this,so lesson learnt:silly:

Just flash the stock gingerbread via flashtool and there you go....touchscreen's functionality RESTORED.I guess i was correct about the wrong driver lurking in some partition...

Try the method given above...i.e install gingerbread firmware via flashtool, switch on your phone...run it for sometime, the touchscreen should work at this point. If yes,you can reflash stock ICS on your phone.Thats it.You can download GB firmware for Go from HERE.
Hope this helps.

By 'touchscreen keeps black' you mean that there is no display, that there may be some hardware fault,You should take it to the sevice center.

Does the touchscreen fault occured after flashing a rom/mod or after a physical damage?
If it is related to some physical damage, the solution won't work and you have to send it to service center.

Did the phone booted? If yes, then you have stock kernel. If your bootloader is locked, the use sony program to repair your phone. Ckick on update, it will probably tell you that it already has latest firmware. Click on repair and follow instructions... I dont think kernel override in this case is possible as flashtool flash the whole firmware.
One recomendation, always read the op for instructions and if its for locked or unlocked. But after this, you probably will
EDIT: if you are not sure, try to use flashtool once again. Do do same procedure as before.
ADVICE:if you want to use better kernel and roms, unlock your bootloader. Waiting till warranty end, your wife will not be happy anyway. This opens you a lot of possibilities and most important thing, her phone will fly for a long time. Im using stock rom and sliding kernel, awesome combination.

Thanks For the answer. Yes the phone boots but i see only the sony logo you always see. But not even the xperia logo That follows next.
Also the phone is unlocked with the sony unlock code and rooted with the patch from bin4ry.
But after a long evening trying to get the mod running, and after status 7 error after error i tought maybe its the clockworkmod. And i read the site 3 times but It appears i missed the part "for locked bootloaders only"
So yeah i won't make That mistake Again indeed
But i flashed several times the stock rom back but it stays on the sony logo and sadly that's it

Ok, get this kernel
http://rapidgator.net/file/76795117/kernel.zip.html
its from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2029756
Hit thanks there...
Unzip and use the .54.
Switch phone off (power+volume up until 3 vibs...)
Open flashtool, click on that flash, select fastboot mode.
Now press and keep VOLUME UP and connect to the computer.
In flashtool press "Select Kernel to Flash".
A window will appear, choose the .54 you just downloaded and hit ok.
It takes about 2 seconds to flash the kernel, so no worries. Look into the main flashtool window, you'll see if the action wasd successfull.
Then disconnect and try to start, if nothing, then try to flash the stock firmware again.
Sweet thanks going to try This when in back at home. It looks very similar to wat iv'e done already. But iv'e used kernel B.599 or it was B.559.
So, ill Let you know if it worked

[Q] Sony sk17i mini pro bootloop. Advice please....

Hello everyone,
I have joined here hoping to get some advice, so i will be as complete with my situation as i can.
So, i rooted my phone, installed busybox, root explorer and CWM. No problems so far.
Read up on rom installations and attempted my first one. Cannot remember the rom at the moment but followed instructions as in "back up", wipe cache etc....
Now the phone is in bootloop, whereby it switches on, goes to sony erricson screen, blue light flashes and then goes blank. I cannot enter CWM, i cannot switch off until i remove battery.
I have tried both pc companion repair and seus repair but both say no software for phone(pc companion) and newest software installed(seus).
I have tried booting into safe mode the old fashioned way, but no go and finally....i have shouted obscenities at my phone but that doesn't work either.:silly:
any suggestions, or should i assume that it is bricked and send off for repair if possible?
Thank you.
Hey bro have you locked or unlocked bootloader?
Flash stock .587 firm with flashtool.
Some roms are only for locked or unlocked bootloader. You need to see that before install a rom. And remember. Not all the roms are stable.
Follow step by step. Is recomendable before install a rom. Flash stock firm.

Simlock is normal because your phone is unlocked. But the screen dont work for nothing?. If work little instalL CWM app. Well if you have guaranty go there. If not. Search a tuto how to open you phone and check the conections and "flex"

First Thing i did that i changed the SIM card before posting here.....!
I really don't quite understand this issue. You are not the 1st I have seen. My best guess is not software, since you flashed stock rom many times, but I think its with the SIM Card holder.
See the vid

Try to flash a stock Rom other than the one you have now and then flash the same Rom again but without simlock.ta and baseband

Same problem
same problem here, is use a samsung GT-S5570i, last time i flashed jelly blast V3 rom without changing the stock recovery every thing worked fine,
last week i flashed the KitKat mod rom but i also changed the recovery to CMW, and i'm now facing the same problem, i re-flashed jelly blast still same problem, i don't think that it's is sim card holder problem because that before entering the PIN code of the sim the phone still working even if there is sim inserted
did someone finds the way to fix this???

no it's not a samsung forum but it's the same problem, and it's the same OS so it should be the same method to fix both phones,
please don't use this way of talking again

The unbricking methods are different!!!! Samsung uses touchwiz ui and odin to flash but sony uses flashtool! That is common sense!

My phone has\had the same problem since last night. Activated the 3g service on my same sim, and my phone is perfectly working in wcdma mode with sim inserted in it. Phone has stock ftf, haven't re-flashed it yet and i haven't tried factory reset too.
I am glad my a year old phone is working fine.

It seems to ba bug specific to the ROMs b.1.54 also b.1.10 sometimes. Let your phone battery to die completely and then flash a stock Rom, probably c.1.10.ftf and reboot.
and flash the same rom again excluding TA and BASEBAND in flash tool
problem vanished

From last few days phone is perfectly working in gsm mode too, if sim problem again pops up in future and remains persistent then i will do the same you had suggested.
Current phone build is 6.2.A.1.100, kernel version 3.0.8+
