now open the music player and play music on full volume
change to VIBRATE MODE through notification panel and scroll for a few sec on ur home screens volume will drop..though volume will show full if u press volume key up to check
now go back to SOUND MODE from notification panel and scroll/swipe ur home screens for a while it will increase again in a few seconds..( 10 secs or 15 secs)

How to set ringtone's volume to max all the time?

is there a way to have your hd2 ring at the highest volume possible all the time, except if its on silent or vibrate mode?
if for example i press the volume buttons on the side and set the volume to 1 bar, the ringtone's volume will be lowered as well.
In settings select Sound & DisplAy and turn off single volume. Now when you hit your volume button, there'll be two tabs - System and Ring. There you can max out your ring volume and still have your messaging/media volume at whatever level you want.
Hope this helps dude
had no idea what that option did..
thx a lot for the help
No problem mate!

Notification Volume

Coming from an HTC phone, I had the option to "Use incoming call volume for notifications". It was an easy way for me to turn up and down all volume using the side volume rockers. I don't see this option for the note. I was in a meeting yesterday and thought my phone volume was turned off, but the notifications kept going off. It'd be so much easier if i could use the volume rocker to turn down the sound as opposed to going into the settings and manually doing it every time I want to change the volume. Any tips?
I use widgetlocker and have a volume slider on my lock screen, I always just slide it to vibrate

[Q] volume button

When you change the volume, you can also switch your phone to silent or normal mode. On the volume control bar at the top of the screen, tap , , or .

You need to turn off vibrate in the ringtones+sounds section. When vibrate is on you get vibrate/ring options, when it's off you get silent/ring options.
I hope they will fix this. Dont know why it does not simply go through all the 3 options

Volume Slider Resets Itself?

Just bought an Xperia Z Tablet and note that the volume seems low.
When I go to the Settings/Sound/Volumes I see the button on the first Volumes selector ie Music video games & other media is about half way across.
I slide it all the way and press OK but when I go back in it has reset itself to the half way marker?
I am using blue tooth headphones while this is happening.
Any ideas why or how to boost the volume?
OK, just plugged in some conventtional headphones and when turning the volume up got the warning message. This didn't appear with the bluetooth headset so the system limited the volume. Once I had set OK in conventional headphone mode it seemed to clear the way for full volume in bluetooth mode. Volume is fine now.

Lollipop[5.0] Sound & Notification
