I have just got a new Sony Bravia led. I want to use the screen mirroring feature wirelessly(I know this is possible via HDMI cable). I know it is possible with the s4.ive tried it.
Is there a Rom for the s2 with this feature?

Work perfect, without lossing touch functionality.

@rothariger It is possible that the lack of touch input is related to problems with the cables/AC power/wiring (power in general), seen some posts about the touchscreen not working with some badly wired chargers etc.
Thanks for the info.

Title says it all really. I know we can have the screen of effect working but it flashes pure white rather than flinging the colours on the screen at the time. I would just like clarification as to why, i'm not moaning, just asking.
Thanks in advance.

Bump.........
Good question...
Because Samsung has decided not to use this effect.
The effect is written in c and is located in the surfaceflinger libraries. It uses gl and is hardware depended.
So why should Samsung implement a fix for an effect they don't even use.

Just noticed when i plug my phone in to charge you can have the home screen in landscape has any1 else got this?
Does this mean we might get a official dock?
I noticed this shortly after flashing to an ICS rom. It would be better if we could do this without anything connected to our phones.

The home screen is in landscape not only when chargining on charger but when connect XPERIA S on comp using USB cabel too.
I wonder if there's a way to make the home screen flip to landscape without having to plugged in
does anyone have a solution for that?
So I saw the other day that people have been able to get floating touch working on the galaxy SL and galaxy S2 (here). They do this by editing the files in /sys/touchscreen, which as far as I can tell our players don't have. I was wondering if there was a way that this could be done on the SGP 5.0.
If you have cm9 you could enable this. Just go to developers options and click show visual touches.

As far as I can tell all that does is show a dot where you are touching the screen.
Don't you think this is more of a hardware thing?

I don't think so. Ive used Gingerbread ROMS, cm9 and cm10 ROMS for the Galaxy Player 5.0, and CM9 and CM10 have the visual touches, while Gingerbread didnt have it. So it should be a software thing.
I beleive this here is the mod:

i think this might work as this is a mod for cm9 and we could just apply the mod to it!

guys. It has nothing to do with software. he's not talking about the actual visual response after touching the screen. it can't be done on our players because its hardware related. On the xperia where floating touch was made, the touchscreen is too sensitive and I believe that the xperia and player don't use the exact same screen. Floating touch is where you almost touch the screen and the screen responds without you actually touching it, just being near it.

Hey,
Currently running slim bean KitKat 4.4.2 ROM on i9300 international, which I truly like cause of its smoothness.
I want to set another Samsung ROM , as slim bean doesn't support it, so I will be able to use mhl cable to my HDTV.
I tried twice and failed with Siyah kernel.
I also have a strange bug, recently purchased a Bluetooth mice to use with my phone, it is recognized by the phone and ROM but when I click to pair it does nothing. its bugged.
Thanks in advance.

Siyah kernel doesn't support newer stock roms... It supports only upto 4.1.2...
Try with googy max.. it's the extension of siyah kernel with latest firmware support...
