I was wondering if someone would like to start devolping AOKP based on 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 or maybe even 4.3 for the Sony Xperia U.
If so, let me know. I open to test them and make video reviews of it!

PAC is really bad on Xperia U, lags everywhere and bad ram management... I'd like AOKP too But I think devs should work on CM10.2 and make it stable, then port PA / AOKP & co.

+1 That would be great, I'm looking for something like that too. Paranoid + AOKP ICS
@jermaine151 Was quite surprised as there was only an AOKP ICS ROM and not a Jelly Bean one. Hopefully a developer will kindly start working on an official Jelly Bean ROM. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

+1 here. I would love to see an official AOKP for my Prime as well. Someone please?
The only bug I cared about was missing NTFS write support - you know, for using usb disks. I was really enjoying craigacgomez's unofficial AOKP build, except I have to have full USB host support since this is my one and only computer. So, I'm on AW currently, but would love either a CM or AOKP based on 4.2. CM 10.1 should be out soon, the TF700 got merged to the main tree a few days ago, so I'm assuming we're not far off...
Well guys here is a good news for all NovaThor device users, the android kitkat (4.4) has been successfully ported to samsung galaxy s3 mini based on CM 11 the ROM is bug free galaxy s3 mini which is a NovaThor chipset device.
Hope so developers take interest in this and port it to our xperia p,u,go,sola
Take a look over here :good: : http://www.xda-developers.com/android/kitkat-conquers-novathor-early-cm11-for-the-galaxy-siii-mini/
Just read this - good news. Lets hope that someone will port atleast that because even bt is working..

Many developers will take interest in this because this is something that all NovaThor devices have been waiting for now lets hope something surprising :good:
munjeni & percy should see this
Awesome news! Hope that the devs can do smth
Ok, so release is coming as I said. But don't expect it to be bugfree - we made a new device sources (it was easier than porting sources from 4.3 and better for overall performance) and we need your reports about bugs!
Starting from tomorrow we're planing everyday nightlies - both CM11.0 and CM10.2 (but remember, CM11 is getting hundreds of commits everyday, so somedays we won't be able to compile it properly, what means no nightly sometimes).
Also Xperia developers asked me for help they to boot CM11 on their Novathor Xperias. As I said to them, I will do my best to help them get working CM11 on other Novathor devices.
So stay tuned, make backup and get ready to test!

Ask maclaw he is the guy who did it
But what about bluetooth? Will it work? As much as i want 4.4 i also want working bluetooth and as seen from 4.2/4.3 for our phones i'm not feeling optimistic about it.
Well i dont like CM but i hope we can get a stock KK 4.4 Based Rom for our Xperia P but we shall see in next year how the KK 4.4 looks like on the Z1
Its really great!! lets give the good devs a few weeks time.... the work they are doing is awesome!!

Hello buddy i am not claiming that the CM11 unofficial port is bug free the given link says that the port is working smoothly without any errors
If u have not visited the thread just watch out and read it.
However, the maclaw guy doesn't seem to be interested in sharing the sources. He was banned from the forum once because of this. Seems more like he's trying to generate traffic to his own site.
Maclaw doesn't give his sources
Lets hope possitively
Hey guyz now lets hope possitively and wait what happens i am trying.to see more further development sources on this.
Will soon update as i get new news.
Hope so

Off course brother if the z1 gets the 4.4 update we might be able to port the launcher and apps to our xperia p. As per google said the low config phones...
with 512 mb RAM will be able to run 4.4 smoothly. Now we have to see that 1x2 ghz xperia p with 1 gb Ram gets a official update or not.
How would be the idea of porting s3 4.4 rom?

hello everyone
I'm new to this phone. I rooted it the other day and I was wondering if the CM10 developed by FXP was stable in all aspects. By stability, I mean full functionality as well as good RAM usage and speed, unlike the stock 4.1 by sony which had horrible lag problems. I haven't seen a discussion thread, hence the noobie question. Sorry about that.

well it will go like kit kat
once it is officially released, someone would then release its sources and then someone would create the rom for our device
hope @munjeni returns for our xperias
It'd be really increadible to see working Lollipop on Xperia P, a 2012 phone with newest software? I'll take it The devs don't have all the source codes for hardware, so I imagine optimizing for our devices won't be buttery smooth (as it isn't with Kitkat either)

128mb? for lollipop? i don't think so...kitkat rom is over 200 mb...so it's totally fake....also sourses are few days relesed, and devs in Xperia U Dev Thread said that we have no such skilled professionals to build even alpha rom so fast...
by the way, look at the screenshot on that link....build number is KOT49H, which stands for Android 4.4.2...
this all was my IMHO

Yeah, like kitkat

Thats gonna be tough job for our devs as they are not experts as what is needed. (No offence to anyone)
We need more devs like @ - percy_g2 and @ - munjeni for this project.
I'm already seeing some Lollipop branches coming out and some commits on github.

I don't think Sola will be able to handle Lollipop properly, because of the low RAM and old GPU.
Lollipop is full of visual overhaul and animations.
My Xperia Sola on ICS has no lags and 120mb free ram now wihout task killer.
Xperia U has same specs and android Lollipop (Previev) is now available for this phone
