I installed the latest TWRP Recovery (2.6.3) recovery via Goo Manager. Now every time I reboot to recovery it gets stuck at the main boot screen for the recovery. I have to hold the power button to get the phone to go off and then do the recovery entry from the off screen. Sometimes I've got to do this a couple times to get into the recovery.
Also, it seems like the Delvak Cache and Cache wiping takes forever even if I repeat the process immediately after doing it.
Any idea what the issue is with this?
Anyone know how to get back to TWRP 2.6.0?
Sounds like a problem with twrp. I'd Google "i545 twrp zip xda" and flash the zip in your current recovery.
I couldn't find a flashable 2.6.0 recovery.

Having same issue on another device... can you post a link where you found the zip please?
Or if any of you can post the APK file of the most updated version?
Thanks!

***1/29/12 Rom Manager now will flash CWM, leaving the zips in place for anyone that needs them for whatever reason***
Since ROM Manager currently broke support for flashing CWM on the nook I put together some flashable zips to install ClockworkMod 3.2.0.1 or TWRP 2.1.1 to emmc. With u-boot on the nook you can actually have both at the same time if you choose, one as recovery and the other as alternate boot. (Hold n when powering on the nook to get to the u-boot menu). This means you can use a combination of both if you wish.

TWRP 2.1.1 as Recovery: http://tinyw.in/X9EN
TWRP 2.1.1 as Alternate: http://tinyw.in/uCzX
If you need a bootable recovery sdcard to install with you can get one here: 1gb CWM 3.2.0.1 sdcard image or 1gb TWRP 2.1.1 sdcard image

TWRP 2.0 as Recovery: http://tinyw.in/gdmx

Just what I was thinking about! Thanks for your work on this.
Hi,
Using CM9..
I have the ROM Manager (Latest one), but I had already installed CWR to emmc.
Can I use it to flash new ROM's since it is already installed?
Also can you please explain how to use the zips you provide here? BTW, power and N buttons do not work, there is only power down with CM9..
I installed TWRP as Alternative Recovery and i could boot in to TWRP recovery but touch screen doesn't work for me
+1. I finally wanted to try Teamwin on my nook and this works..thank you.
Android Market just pushed an update to ROM Manager and it now recognizes the device as the Nook Color.
Best regards,
-boggsie
So I just boot into current recovery (cwm) which is on my emmc and flash twrp?

Thanks for this.
It has come in very handy with all my flashing debauchery.
Did not work for EVO 3D. I flashed with cwm. Rebooted and then went back into recovery and cwm came back up. What am I missing?

You're missing the fact that you're in the wrong forum. These zips are for the nook color.
tried both twrp zips and neither had touchscreen response for me and wouldnt let me boot into my rom, kept forcing me back into recovery. back to cwm for me, oh well.

Could be a bad download, why don't you try flashing TWRP recovery and see if that helps.
Are you saying that you can get into recovery but cannot flash anything?

You could download to PC and move to phone. You can always flash cwm again with Odin. I would use a fresh download of the cwm tar.

The TWRP here, (in this section) is a flashable zip I believe, and to the best of my knowledge, will work with GB/ICS/JB combined.
But please, dont take my word for it.
Go to the TWRP threads and read the OP's carefully, as they tell you the installation requirements for the recovery.....g

Here is a link to the download page for the newest version of TWRP 2.8.3.0. http://www.techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/t0ltevzw. You just scroll to the bottom of the page where the latest build is at and pick the zip file. They also have a .tar file for flashing in Odin.
Many thanks to "Bigbiff" for this. I found it on his thread in the original android section. TWRP is my favorite recovery by far.

How are you flashing it? There are 2 ways you can flash this recovery, in the recovery that you have installed and Odin. Either should work. I would use your recovery first though and of that doesn't work than go with the .tar and use Odin. You can also try Philz to flash it. There are also a couple of apps on Playstore that will help with this process to. Flashify is one and [ROOT] Rashr - Flash Tool is another.
Hope this helps.
Chance favors the prepared.
I had tried both TWRP and Philz in recovery and neither worked, however, I just installed and tried Flashify and it did not work by flashing the zip file as it could not locate if for some reason, but when I downloaded the img file and flashed that it worked immediately. THANK YOU!!!

Stuck in TWRP
I had no idea CWM files cannot be restored with TWRP. I just downloaded latest TWRP and cannot get phone to bootup past Galaxy note 2 logo.I can bootup into TWRP though. Is there a way to disable TWRP to restore back to CWM please? Sorry to bother you all. Thanks in advance.
You need to download CWM .tar and flash with Odin on a PC out laptop. Once you flash CWM recovery with Odin you can boot into that recovery and restore your back up you made. It is either that or try to find CWM in a zip file and flash in TWRP. I don't recall seeing any in a zip format though but I will check for you.

I think that you should be able to use Philz touch recovery to restore CWM backups too. So you may want to flash Philz with your installed TWRP and then after the flash go to the TWRP start screen and hit "reboot"then hit "reboot recovery" and it should bout into Philzs. It is going to say "there is no system installed are you sure you want to reboot" hit yes and it should boy you into Philz.
Like I said I'm not 100%sure it will restore a true CWM backup but i would day that these would be your options. Maybe someone else has anything different to do?

Here is a link to my shared folder in drop box. I found CWM 6.0.4.3 in zip format. You can download this and just flash in TWRP and then reboot to recovery and you should be back on CWM recovery and you will be able to restore your back up.
Hope this helps.

I am curious to see if anyone knows the possibility of simply booting into TWRP on a new T-Mobile V10 (fastboot boot twrp.img, NOT fastboot flash recovery twrp.img) and pulling the STOCK recovery. If anyone knows if it is possible and/or is willing to be a guinea pig to pull stock recovery I am sure it would be helpful to many in the community.

Yeah, I never flashed TWRP, just booted it to flash SU. So, as per your request, I booted it again and did a backup of only recovery. So this should be stock recovery, since I had never flashed TWRP, hopefully? I don't know how to turn it into an img file tho, but you could restore it in TWRP. Hope it helps.
