In Hyperdrive 9.1 I've been told that it's possible to add the date (not the day, the date as in Oct 13) to the status bar. I use XPosed framework. Will this do it? I must be missing something here because I can't get it to show.
Thanks! Minor problem, the ROM is awesome.

Hello, i want to modify the pull down icon selection as per screen shot. I want to replace the GPS with a data one.
I have all the icons in the framework and system UI to do this but have no idea how to go about replacing it.
Any help is appreciated

I'm looking more for a 'How to' so that I can do it myself for this and any future roms
In the rom I'm currently using I can go into settings/personal/toggle settings/customise toggles & choose which 11 toggles I want in my pulldown toggle panel.
Might find similar in other roms.

I've used Desktop VisualizeR & QuickShortcutMaker to create app shortcuts (with the name as a blank space) for most of my apps. However there a couple of "live" shortcut icons like Messaging that don't respond well to that technique. Is there another way to achieve what I describe in the above image?

If you are rooted, Nottach Xposed has an option to disable the names: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293956. It's under 'Launcher>Hide dock app labels'.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm unrooted and that's not going to be happening very soon since I updated the firmware.
here is a sweet module if found for Xposed, who needs Paranoid Android now

I can't get it to work on GoldenEye, if someone else gets it to work let me know. (and I did take the time to go through and change each app's tint that I care about, I know it isn't automatically there)
I't works on MDOB. I tested it with Chrome, and it changed my status bar.

i am on goldeneye 8.0 and it works for me, and i am sure u activated it through the xposed modules after install, right?
'Tinted Status Bar' is an Xposed Module which gives versions of Android below Kitkat 4.4 the ability to blend their system bars with their current app. Xposed Installer + Framework is needed for this mod.
Kudos!

You will have to decompile the system apks to remove it.
I found a simpler solution, I installed the "Moto Checkbox" Closed module and it let me remove them; thanks anyways!

Ah glad you got it worked out. I personally don't use xposed due to rom and security issues
