Hi, I can't use 3g on my Motorola Charm so I checked the phone specs on the internet and I think am suppose to have 3g.
I recently flashed CM7 rom but to no avail, I don't know if its the modem or the baseband.
I've been to several forums and most of them talks about this folder /system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default
Please! I seriously need you guys help.

I have Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G wifi, followed the guide for rooting the device. Everything seems to work exactly like it should, except for the data connection from mobile network. WIFI works great btw..
Any idea why?
Anyone know, Where can i get the HC 3.1 stock 3g rom? So that i can restore it back to the factory settings, cause i need 3G for my work.

Did you root a US 4G version using the existing methods? Just received the Verizon 4G today, nothing posted yet about rooting. Apparently a locked bootloader though.

I've updated my HTC flyer Wifi version with a rom backed up from a 3g version to get the arabic language support. Everything seem to work perfectly except that I'm getting that ugly No SIM card displayed on when switching on the device along with SIM icon on the top bar .
My Q how can I get rid of that ?

There is a patch in nickiberli's FlyHigh ROM thread that I think it might help you..
You'll find it in the 2nd or 3rd post..

No I didn't 'cause I have a 3G Flyer so I don't have you're problem, but that patch is intended for people who flash nickiberli's ROM and still have you're problem even though they have a Wifi only Flyer..
So I think there should be no problems

So I flashed nickiberli's rom , I will use a internet browser that support arabic ( I can Live with that
I went through his thread and I figure out that you are a developer/programmer , So did you try madmac's solution to arabize the rom and what about hebfix ?!!
Am sorry to disappoint you mate but am not a developer nor a programmer :-( actually am a pharmacist but i happen to like tinkering with my devices and Android :-D
About madmac, I tried to do it but it just gave bootloops no matter how i do it, but to be honest the script gave me errors when i ran it on my laptop so I wasn't optimistic in the first place..
I tried running nicki's ROM with the other solutions to arabize it but what drove me back to the arabic ROM is Friend Stream and Gmail as i couldnt arabize those, so if you have better solutions let me know

Hi, I flashed the latest CM7 Nightly ROM onto my LG Thrill 4G, and for some reason the Mobile Network isn't working. I can get the wireless network to work though. I tried the APN thing, but when I click save, it redirects me back to the APN menu and doesn't save. It's just blank. Should I try re-flashing the ROM? Or is there a solution to this? This is also my first post. I've always been a fan of XDA but have never made on account on here, but I finally decided to do it since I can't find the answer to this question anywhere else. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

hello friends recently i buyed a used unlocked motorola xt912 verizon branded phone its updated to ics, i can use phone internet by manually adding apn, everything works fine m using phone here in india, just problem is that i cant use usb tether or wifihot spot when i click wifi hotspot or usb tether i get error that plz call verizion on 800**** to use the serivice, i had same problem in unlocked atnt atrix 4g stock 2.3.6 but i got a tool which did rooting and patching and everything else after patching in that software i can use tether and hot spot with stock rom without any problem, so can any one hlep me solve same problem with my droid razr xt912, i m using stock and dont want to use other applications to tether or hotspot, n i love stock as its best for me i think plz help me solve that problem, thanks in advance my phone is rooted,

Just follow those steps carefully.
Just to remind you that:
1. You have to have rooted phone
2. SQL Lite Editor
The Roms made for the LG L3 E400 dont work properly on the E400R Wifi, and Network connection is lost. Rooting it is also different, which I did manage to get done after lots of searching. You must use the Rageagainstthecage methold in superoneclick. Now if someone could just get a rom working for the E400R, I bet alot of people would be very happy! I can supply the stock rom if needed. Sorry if this is not the right spot, but theres no forum for the L3
Please help me, and all the others with the canadian version stuck on android 2.3

It would be great if someone could help. Sorry if Im double posting, but I need help, and so does anyone else who wants to a custom rom for the E400R. I am worried to give it a shot by myself because everyone who tried managed to ruin the network connection. Someone with more experience is needed.

OK - so I was going through the apps after finally figuring out how to root it (I'll post a link to a page if needed) and wanting to barebone this bloated factory ROM.
Finally fudged around too much, KDZ wouldn't work but made it so it shows v11e software version, though wouldn't even turn on. Changed the brick for a new one under warranty.
Noticed I now have MSM7225A, whereas my first phone was a MSM7625A. Tried the rom again, but still no carrier signal / SIM access. ended up flashing Telus V12A rom and ripping out the bloatware....faster now and battery is good for a good day or two - probably won't bother with an ICS/JB update now...
We need the RIL files extracted to make this work, but the kdz doesn't break open like older models...
