Really friend'm one week without my phone thanks to this rom, or thanks to my stupidity, but the problem and tried everything but no solution so far, I'm sad without my LWW
Some help here, I'm already a week without my phone please, I've tried everything and nothing so far, the information I have is that the rom that caused all this was the Ultimate HD 5.0.1, installed as Xperia Pro, installing roms found that with Active roms it works a certain part of the screen, but for putting a stock again, please help

Hi are you sure you're refering to coolancool's Xperia Ultimate HD 5.0.1?
As you can see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486064
He released his rom October 16, while you posted your problem Oct 15 and you indicated there that you have this problems for more than 3 days.
So I think you might be referring to the wrong rom..
Maybe what you installed is this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1920207
Which is the same version BUT for Sony Xperia Arc & Xperia arc S & Sony Xperia Pro. Which is why I think it installed as Xperia Pro. It is clearly not for our LWWs.
That is why coolancool ported it for our xperia 2011 devices so it could work for our LWWs.

First i read the little tutorial with st17 dont think it work to sk17i , i try to flash stock .58 with flash tool many times , and with seus Repair for many times , all kernels , roms etc.
downloaded work boot (for active) and instaled the good rom for sk17i only the boot i think it was wrong , it was with red ...i think it was for active , i was in hurry (@work) :crying::crying:
so anyone know about this problem ?
my phone last Waranty day 19.06
So... err.. you flashed an ST17 ROM on your SK17i?
...and now the touch is dead?
Well, have a look see on the thread below. We have a long standing discussion on the matter and some probable fixes you can try.. Good luck mate~
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1713449
I have the same problem. I never installed ROMs on my sk17i and the touchscreen just stoped working.
I already tried to restore by PCC or flashtool, but nope.
I've read that thread, but aren't the solutions for ST15i? And don't i need to have root to try those solutions?
yes it is for st15 / walkman , and root u can get if u install costum kernel but the problem it is not this , it is we can to make the touch to work or we trow the phone ...
i try last night : install x kernel + rom for active the touch worked 40% , then install via flashtool the stock for active the same , then when i go back to my stock for sk17i the touch is dead...
nobody here have a solution ?
update
seems i was flashing first with rage kernel for xperia arc dont now from where the hell i get the kernel , and the all roms it is for mini pro it is ok only the kernel was wrong

If you never flashed any rom, then it's most likely hardware mate. Sending for repairs is your only fix.

If I may not be too late, I also got this problem (flashed lww kernel and ROM on xmp).
Touchscreen and home buttons stopped working, even in recovery.
I flashed paranoid android kernel (the ROM I used before this happened),
Factory reset, format system and dalvik cache in recovery.
Let the phone boot with no system.
Wait....nothing will happen. Then take off the battery and insert again.
The phone is back to normal.
I want to use custom rom on my neo L. Ive unlocked my bootloader. After that when I flashed the kernel like Tigris or Vengeance. When i start the phone the touch just doesnt work. It gives message "Unfortunately the keypad has stopped working".
Please anyone help me with this problem!

Same problem here..... . Can anyone help us?
Hello guys, please forgive me if any of this has caused the slightest troubles to you
So,
i just rooted my phone a day ago and installed clockwork mod too...
i am a total newbie and don't know anything about this.... So i went searching for some custom mods for my sk17i or Xperia mini pro...
And i found one on this site http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102979
So then i installed it from the instructions given on most of the websites... i had a kernel of 4.1.b.0.587 on the phone and i don't even know much about flashtool...
Now the rom is installed or whatever it is but the UI has completely changed and it's not like the pics on the site... It's just completely black... And the worse part is that i can't even access my settings menu on the phone... So now i am blocked from doing anything... i cant even start usb debugging and take off the root....
please tell me some roms for the phone or any other way this can be undone...
Oh and btw i also tried installing some roms from http://get.cm/?device=mango because i thought cyanogen is pretty famous...
But none of them gets installed... and i even tried placing them as updates but no luck :crying::crying:
please help... thank you so much

Hmmm...if i understand your problem correctly, you ROOT and install CWM on you Mango, then you flash custom mods...problem appears after flashing custom mods right????
Hmmm....okey, for you info, those custom mods are for CM10 Roms ONLY and i believe you haven't flash CM10 Roms FIRST before you flash those mods...you can't use those mods on STOCK ROM (GB and ICS)...its designed for JB rom only....No wonder your phone got black screen...you trying to flash some mods that isn't COMPATIBLE with your roms...you need to flash STOCK Roms back if you want to fixed your problem...
for you second question...did your phone BOOTLOADER is Unlock??? if is not then sorry you can't CM Roms without unlocking the Bootloader first....CM Roms mush use CUSTOM KERNEL not STOCK KERNEL and after Unlocking you Bootloader then you can flash CUSTOM KERNEL and CM Roms...

As far as I know, the kernel should be in the rom.zip (it's the boot.img). Extract it and flash it using flashtool or the fastboot tools
Otherwise search for a kernel for android 4.2.2 in Dev section and flash that one. Should work too
Sent from my Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.2
One thing to remember is, before flashing a custom ROM or MOD, ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP.
To be on the safer side, backup every week or so and keep the last two or three backups.

Your phone got almost bricked,No it didnt, First thing before installing a custom ROM clear your system, data, cache partition..did you do that?
ok so you have CWM installed..follow this exactly
Start CWM by pressing vol down when your phone starts up,Select Mount USB Storage under mounts and storage, connect phone to pc,transfer ROM zip file to sdcard then
format /system ,/data,/cache ,now select install zip from sdcard and select your ROM zip file from sdcard
Reboot System..
You should be clear now..
Hope i helped..
Regards..
PS :Certain CM ROMS can be highly unstable so i recommend checking out the bugs and everything before you flash a CM rom..otherwise ICS is always smooth and stable..and have got a lot a lot of mdpi roms on xda..thanks to devs..
EDIT: if u r on a stock kernel, then unlock your bootloader by following steps at unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com then flash a custom kernel that supports JB..look over at the index thread created by predator at the dev section..
then follow my steps above..
DO NOT FLASH CUSTOM JB ROM ON STOCK ICS KERNEL.IT WONT WORK.

reflash the stock .ftf installed on your device when touch was working fine and see if your touch works
if not
reflash all the available stock .ftf s to make sure if its a hardware isssue or software
no need to say if these didnt work its probably a hardware issue and get your phone to sony servive center

Have you used flashtool???
also does touch work when you use the TWRP in turbo kernel or is it only when you boot into the system?

Hello everyone!!!
i got a serious problem in my Sony Xperia P. i bought it 3 days ago and it was feeling very laggy and i was not satisfied with it so i just used sony own pc companion and updated it and it didn't help and gives one more trouble.. the dialer starts lagging.. so i read somewhere about this site and read and learn to install custom rom..
The main problem is I tried to install the custom kernel ( nemesis ) by going into CWM recovery and it successfuly install but now my phone is only showing blue light and after red light when i tried to open CWM.. i cant install my rom.. please anyone help.. i bought this phone with my own money doing some very hard work.. please anyone just tell me how can i go back to original rom or install custom rom.. and my bootloader is allow to unlocked but i didn't unlocked it and i forgot.. Sorry for that it was my mistake.
hello there.
okay, 1st, you need to get your phone alive again by flashing a stock rom. i suggest you follow this tutorial here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/general/how-to-resolve-softbrick-upgrade-to-ics-t2023135
The link to flash tool is dead i think, so you can download the latest flashtool here:
http://www.flashtool.net/download.php
follow Dr droid instructions word for word and you'll be fine. It saved my Sola last year, and it will save your XP.
Keep flashtool installed, because you can use it to unlock your bootloader. Just get the phone running first.
Good luck....

Don't panic, everything that is software related can be easily fixed:

If you have trouble with the sony software, you can always flash the original 4.1.2 Android version through flashtool, which was linked above.

Use carbon rom. It is the smoothest rom so far.
For the soft keys I don't understand.

I do know what soft keys are but I don't have the solution to your problem. Carbon can be found in the xperia P development section.

Here you go. You do need an unlocked bootloader.
